1 Kwa mwimbishaji. Zaburi ya wana wa Kora. Ee Bwana, ulionyesha wema kwa nchi yako. Ulimrejeshea Yakobo baraka zake.
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 Ulisamehe uovu wa watu wako, na kufunika dhambi zao zote.
You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. (Selah)
3 Uliweka kando ghadhabu yako yote na umegeuka na kuiacha hasira yako kali.
You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
4 Ee Mungu Mwokozi wetu, uturejeshe tena, nawe uiondoe chuki yako juu yetu.
Turn us, God of our salvation, and cause your indignation toward us to cease.
5 Je, utatukasirikia milele? Utaendeleza hasira yako kwa vizazi vyote?
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
6 Je, hutatuhuisha tena, ili watu wako wakufurahie?
Will not you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Utuonyeshe upendo wako usiokoma, Ee Bwana, utupe wokovu wako.
Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.
8 Nitasikiliza lile atakalosema Mungu aliye Bwana; anaahidi amani kwa watu wake, watakatifu wake: lakini nao wasirudie upumbavu.
I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Hakika wokovu wake uko karibu na wale wamchao, ili utukufu wake udumu katika nchi yetu.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Upendo na uaminifu hukutana pamoja, haki na amani hubusiana.
Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Uaminifu huchipua kutoka nchi, haki hutazama chini kutoka mbinguni.
Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
12 Naam, hakika Bwana atatoa kilicho chema, nayo nchi yetu itazaa mavuno yake.
Yes, the LORD will give that which is good. Our land will yield its increase.
13 Haki itatangulia mbele yake na kutengeneza njia kwa ajili ya hatua zake.
Righteousness goes before him, and prepares the way for his steps.
