< Zaburi 84 >

1 Kwa mwimbishaji. Mtindo wa gitithi. Zaburi ya wana wa Kora. Ee Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, makao yako yapendeza kama nini!
To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable [are] thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 Nafsi yangu inatamani sana, naam, hata kuona shauku, kwa ajili ya nyua za Bwana; moyo wangu na mwili wangu vinamlilia Mungu Aliye Hai.
My soul longeth, and even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3 Hata shomoro amejipatia makao, mbayuwayu amejipatia kiota mahali awezapo kuweka makinda yake: mahali karibu na madhabahu yako, Ee Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, Mfalme wangu na Mungu wangu.
Yes, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thy altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Heri wale wanaokaa nyumbani mwako, wanaokusifu wewe daima.
Blessed [are] they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. (Selah)
5 Heri wale ambao nguvu zao ziko kwako, na njia ziendazo Sayuni zimo mioyoni mwao.
Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in thee; in whose heart [are] the ways [of them].
6 Wanapopita katika Bonde la Baka, hulifanya mahali pa chemchemi, pia mvua za vuli hulijaza kwa madimbwi.
[Who] passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 Huendelea toka nguvu hadi nguvu, hadi kila mmoja afikapo mbele za Mungu huko Sayuni.
They go from strength to strength, [every one of them] in Zion appeareth before God.
8 Ee Bwana Mungu Mwenye Nguvu Zote, sikia maombi yangu; nisikilize, Ee Mungu wa Yakobo.
O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Ee Mungu, uitazame ngao yetu, mtazame kwa wema mpakwa mafuta wako.
Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
10 Siku moja katika nyua zako ni bora kuliko siku elfu mahali pengine; afadhali ningekuwa bawabu katika nyumba ya Mungu wangu kuliko kukaa katika mahema ya waovu.
For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 Kwa kuwa Bwana ni jua na ngao, Bwana hutoa wema na heshima; hakuna kitu chema anachowanyima wale ambao hawana hatia.
For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 Ee Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, heri ni mtu yule anayekutumaini wewe.
O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee.
