Zaburi 15

1 Zaburi ya Daudi. Bwana, ni nani awezaye kukaa katika Hekalu lako? Nani awezaye kuishi katika mlima wako mtakatifu?

A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?

2 Ni yule aendaye pasipo mawaa, atendaye yaliyo haki, asemaye kweli toka moyoni mwake,

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.

3 na hana masingizio ulimini mwake, asiyemtenda jirani yake vibaya, na asiyemsingizia mwenzake,

[He that] slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;

4 ambaye humdharau mtu mbaya, lakini huwaheshimu wale wamwogopao Bwana, yule atunzaye kiapo chake hata kama anaumia.

In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;

5 Yeye akopeshaye fedha yake bila riba, na hapokei rushwa dhidi ya mtu asiye na hatia. Mtu afanyaye haya kamwe hatatikisika.

[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
