Zaburi 108

1 Wimbo. Zaburi ya Daudi. Ee Mungu, moyo wangu ni thabiti; nitaimba na kusifu kwa moyo wangu wote.

A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 Amka, kinubi na zeze! Nitayaamsha mapambazuko.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early.

3 Nitakusifu wewe, Ee Bwana, katikati ya mataifa; nitaimba habari zako, katikati ya jamaa za watu.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4 Kwa maana upendo wako ni mkuu, ni juu kuliko mbingu; uaminifu wako unazifikia anga.

For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] unto the clouds.

5 Ee Mungu, utukuzwe juu ya mbingu, utukufu wako na uenee duniani kote.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 Tuokoe na utusaidie kwa mkono wako wa kuume, ili wale uwapendao wapate kuokolewa.

That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me.

7 Mungu amenena kutoka patakatifu pake: “Nitaigawa Shekemu kwa ushindi na kulipima Bonde la Sukothi.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 Gileadi ni yangu, Manase ni yangu, Efraimu ni kofia yangu ya chuma, nayo Yuda ni fimbo yangu ya utawala.

Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

9 Moabu ni sinia langu la kunawia, juu ya Edomu natupa kiatu changu; nashangilia kwa kushindwa kwa Ufilisti.”

Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 Ni nani atakayenipeleka hadi mji wenye ngome? Ni nani atakayeniongoza hadi nifike Edomu?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 Ee Mungu, si ni wewe uliyetukataa sisi, na hutoki tena na majeshi yetu?

[Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

12 Tuletee msaada dhidi ya adui, kwa maana msaada wa mwanadamu haufai kitu.

Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.

13 Kwa msaada wa Mungu tutapata ushindi, naye atawaponda adui zetu.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he [it is that] shall tread down our enemies.
