1 Bwana akamwambia Mose,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 “Waamuru Waisraeli na uwaambie: ‘Mtakapoingia nchi ya Kanaani, nchi ambayo itagawanywa kwenu kama urithi itakuwa na mipaka ifuatayo:
Command [the] people of Israel and you will say to them if you [are] about to go into the land Canaan this [is] the land which it will fall to you an inheritance [the] land of Canaan to borders its.
3 “‘Upande wenu wa kusini utajumuisha sehemu ya Jangwa la Sini kufuata mpaka wa Edomu. Upande wa mashariki mpaka wenu wa kusini utaanzia mwisho wa Bahari ya Chumvi,
And it will be of you [the] side of [the] south from [the] wilderness of Zin on [the] hands of Edom and it will be of you border of [the] southward from [the] end of [the] Sea of Salt east-ward.
4 katiza kusini mwa Pito la Akrabimu, endelea mpaka Sini na kwenda kusini ya Kadesh-Barnea. Kisha mpaka huo utaenda hadi Hasar-Adari hadi Azmoni,
And it will turn of you the border from [the] south to [the] ascent of scorpions and it will pass on Zin towards (and they will be *Q(K)*) extremities its from [the] south of Kadesh Barnea and it will go out Hazar Addar and it will pass on Azmon towards.
5 mahali ambapo utapinda, na kuunganika na Kijito cha Misri na kumalizikia kwenye Bahari ya Kati.
And it will turn the border from Azmon [the] wadi of towards Egypt and they will be extremities its the sea towards.
6 “‘Mpaka wenu wa magharibi utakuwa Bahari ya Kati. Huu utakuwa mpaka wenu upande wa magharibi.
And [the] border of [the] west and it will be for you the sea great and a border this it will be of you border of [the] west.
7 “‘Kwa mpaka wenu wa kaskazini, wekeni alama kuanzia Bahari ya Kati hadi mlima Hori,
And this it will be of you border of [the] north from the sea great you will mark out for yourselves Hor the mountain.
8 na kutoka mlima Hori hadi Pito la Hamathi. Kisha mpaka utaenda hadi Sedadi,
From Hor the mountain you will mark out Lebo Hamath and they will be [the] extremities of the border Zedad towards.
9 kuendelea hadi Zifroni, na kuishia Hasar-Enani. Huu utakuwa mpaka wenu upande wa kaskazini.
And it will go out the border Ziphron towards and they will be extremities its Hazar Enan this it will be of you border of [the] north.
10 “‘Kwa mpaka wenu wa mashariki, wekeni alama kuanzia Hasar-Enani hadi Shefamu.
And you will mark for yourselves for [the] border of east-ward from Hazar Enan Shepham towards.
11 Mpaka utaelekea kusini kuanzia Shefamu hadi Ribla upande wa mashariki wa Aini, na kuendelea kwenye miteremko mashariki mwa Bahari ya Kinerethi.
And it will go down the border from Shepham Riblah from [the] east of Ain and it will go down the border and it will reach to [the] shoulder of [the] sea of Kinnereth east-ward.
12 Kisha mpaka utashuka kuelekea Mto Yordani na kuishia katika Bahari ya Chumvi. “‘Hii itakuwa nchi yenu, ikiwa na mipaka yake kila upande.’”
And it will go down the border the Jordan towards and they will be extremities its [the] Sea of Salt this it will be of you the land to borders its all around.
13 Mose akawaamuru Waisraeli: “Gawanyeni nchi hii kwa kura kama urithi. Bwana ameagiza kwamba itolewe kwa yale makabila tisa na nusu,
And he commanded Moses [the] people of Israel saying this [is] the land which you will inherit it by lot which he has commanded Yahweh to give to [the] nine the tribes and [the] half of the tribe.
14 kwa sababu jamaa ya kabila la Reubeni, kabila la Gadi, na nusu ya kabila la Manase wamekwishapokea urithi wao.
For they have taken [the] tribe of [the] descendants of the Reubenite[s] to [the] house of ancestors their and [the] tribe of [the] descendants of the Gadite[s] to [the] house of ancestors their and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh they have taken inheritance their.
15 Haya makabila mawili na nusu wamekwishapokea urithi wao upande wa mashariki wa Yordani ngʼambo ya Yeriko, kuelekea mawio ya jua.”
[the] two The tribes and [the] half of the tribe they have taken inheritance their from [the] other side of [the] Jordan of Jericho east-ward east-ward.
16 Bwana akamwambia Mose,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
17 “Haya ndiyo majina ya watu ambao watakusaidia kugawanya nchi kama urithi: Eleazari kuhani na Yoshua mwana wa Nuni.
These [are] [the] names of the men who they will give as inheritance to you the land Eleazar the priest and Joshua [the] son of Nun.
18 Tena uteue kiongozi mmoja kutoka kila kabila kusaidia kuigawanya nchi.
And a leader one a leader one from a tribe you will take to give as inheritance the land.
19 Haya ndiyo majina yao: “Kalebu mwana wa Yefune, kutoka kabila la Yuda;
And these [are] [the] names of the men of [the] tribe of Judah Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh.
20 Shemueli mwana wa Amihudi, kutoka kabila la Simeoni;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Simeon Shemuel [the] son of Ammihud.
21 Elidadi mwana wa Kisloni, kutoka kabila la Benyamini;
Of [the] tribe of Benjamin Elidad [the] son of Chislon.
22 Buki mwana wa Yogli, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Dani;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Dan a leader Bukki [the] son of Jogli.
23 Hanieli mwana wa Efodi, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Manase mwana wa Yosefu;
Of [the] sons of Joseph of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Manasseh a leader Hanniel [the] son of Ephod.
24 Kemueli mwana wa Shiftani, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Efraimu mwana wa Yosefu;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Ephraim a leader Kemuel [the] son of Shiphtan.
25 Elisafani mwana wa Parnaki, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Zabuloni;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Zebulun a leader Elizaphan [the] son of Parnach.
26 Paltieli mwana wa Azani, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Isakari;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Issachar a leader Paltiel [the] son of Azzan.
27 Ahihudi mwana wa Shelomi, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Asheri;
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Asher a leader Ahihud [the] son of Shelomi.
28 Pedaheli mwana wa Amihudi, kiongozi kutoka kabila la Naftali.”
And of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Naphtali a leader Pedahel [the] son of Ammihud.
29 Hawa ndio watu ambao Bwana aliamuru wagawanye urithi kwa Waisraeli katika nchi ya Kanaani.
These [are those] whom he commanded Yahweh to apportion as an inheritance to [the] people of Israel in [the] land of Canaan.
