Marko 3
1 Yesu akaingia tena ndani ya sinagogi, na huko palikuwa na mtu aliyepooza mkono.
And He entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,
2 Wakawa wanamwangalia waone kama atamponya siku ya Sabato, ili wapate sababu ya kumshtaki.
and they were watching Him, whether on the Sabbaths He will heal him, that they might accuse Him.
3 Yesu akamwambia yule mwenye mkono uliopooza, “Njoo hapa mbele ya watu wote.”
And He says to the man having the hand withered, “Rise up in the midst.”
4 Kisha Yesu akawauliza, “Je, ni lipi lililo halali siku ya Sabato: Ni kutenda mema au kutenda mabaya? Ni kuokoa maisha au kuua?” Lakini wao wakanyamaza kimya.
And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?” But they were silent.
5 Yesu akawatazama pande zote kwa hasira, akahuzunika sana kwa ajili ya ugumu wa mioyo yao. Akamwambia yule mtu mwenye mkono uliopooza, “Nyoosha mkono wako.” Akaunyoosha, nao ukaponywa kabisa!
And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch forth your hand”; and he stretched forth, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
6 Kisha Mafarisayo wakatoka nje, nao wakaanza kufanya shauri la kumuua Yesu wakiwa na Maherode.
and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against Him how they might destroy Him.
7 Yesu pamoja na wanafunzi wake wakaondoka huko wakaenda baharini, nao umati mkubwa wa watu kutoka Galilaya ukamfuata.
And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea,
8 Waliposikia mambo yote aliyokuwa akiyafanya, umati mkubwa wa watu ukamjia kutoka Uyahudi, Yerusalemu, Idumaya, na ngʼambo ya Yordani, pamoja na wale wa sehemu za karibu na Tiro na Sidoni.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they around Tyre and Sidon—a great multitude—having heard how He was doing great things, came to Him.
9 Kwa sababu ya umati mkubwa wa watu, aliwaambia wanafunzi wake waweke tayari mashua ndogo kwa ajili yake, ili kuwazuia watu kumsonga.
And He said to His disciples that a little boat may wait on Him, because of the multitude, that they may not press on Him,
10 Kwa kuwa alikuwa amewaponya wagonjwa wengi, wale wenye magonjwa walikuwa wanasukumana ili wapate kumgusa.
for He healed many, so that they threw themselves on Him, in order to touch Him—as many as had plagues;
11 Kila mara pepo wachafu walipomwona, walianguka chini mbele yake na kupiga kelele wakisema, “Wewe ndiwe Mwana wa Mungu.”
and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing Him, were falling down before Him, and were crying, saying, “You are the Son of God”;
12 Lakini aliwaonya wasimseme yeye ni nani.
and many times He was charging them that they might not make Him apparent.
13 Yesu akapanda mlimani na kuwaita wale aliowataka, nao wakamjia.
And He goes up to the mountain, and calls near whom He willed, and they went away to Him;
14 Akawachagua kumi na wawili, ambao aliwaita mitume, ili wapate kuwa pamoja naye, na awatume kwenda kuhubiri
and He appointed twelve, that they may be with Him, and that He may send them forth to preach,
15 na kuwa na mamlaka ya kutoa pepo wachafu.
and to have power to heal the sicknesses, and to cast out the demons.
16 Hawa ndio wale kumi na wawili aliowachagua: Simoni (ambaye alimwita Petro);
And He put on Simon the name Peter;
17 Yakobo mwana wa Zebedayo, na Yohana nduguye (ambao aliwaita Boanerge, maana yake Wana wa Ngurumo);
and James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and He put on them names—Boanerges, that is, “Sons of thunder”;
18 Andrea, Filipo, Bartholomayo, Mathayo, Tomaso, Yakobo mwana wa Alfayo, Thadayo, Simoni Mkananayo,
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 na Yuda Iskariote aliyemsaliti Yesu.
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up; and they come into a house.
20 Kisha Yesu aliporudi nyumbani, umati wa watu ukakusanyika tena, kiasi kwamba yeye na wanafunzi wake hawakuweza kula chakula.
And a multitude comes together again, so that they are not even able to eat bread;
21 Ndugu zake walipopata habari wakaja ili kumchukua kwa maana watu walikuwa wakisema, “Amerukwa na akili.”
and those alongside Him having heard, went forth to lay hold on Him, for they said that He was beside Himself,
22 Walimu wa sheria walioteremka kutoka Yerusalemu walisema, “Amepagawa na Beelzebuli! Anatoa pepo wachafu kwa kutumia mkuu wa pepo wachafu!”
and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out the demons.”
23 Basi Yesu akawaita na kuzungumza nao kwa mifano akasema: “Shetani awezaje kumtoa Shetani?
And having called them near, He said to them in allegories, “How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 Kama ufalme ukigawanyika dhidi yake wenyewe, ufalme huo hauwezi kusimama.
And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 Nayo nyumba kama ikigawanyika dhidi yake yenyewe, nyumba hiyo haiwezi kusimama.
and if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot be made to stand;
26 Naye Shetani kama akijipinga mwenyewe na awe amegawanyika, hawezi kusimama bali mwisho wake umewadia.
and if Satan rose against himself, and has been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but has an end.
27 Hakuna mtu yeyote awezaye kuingia kwenye nyumba ya mtu mwenye nguvu na kuteka nyara mali zake asipomfunga kwanza yule mwenye nguvu. Ndipo ataweza kuteka nyara mali zake.
No one is able to spoil the vessels of the strong man, having entered into his house, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.
28 Amin, nawaambia, dhambi zote na makufuru yote ya wanadamu watasamehewa.
Truly I say to you that all sins will be forgiven to the sons of men, and slanders with which they might have slandered,
30 Yesu alisema hivi kwa sababu walikuwa wanasema, “Ana pepo mchafu.”
because they said, He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Kisha wakaja ndugu zake Yesu pamoja na mama yake. Wakasimama nje, wakamtuma mtu kumwita.
Then His brothers and mother come, and standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him,
32 Umati wa watu ulikuwa umeketi kumzunguka, nao wakamwambia, “Mama yako na ndugu zako wako nje, wanakutafuta.”
and a multitude was sitting around Him, and they said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside.”
33 Akawauliza, “Mama yangu na ndugu zangu ni nani?”
And He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?”
34 Kisha akawatazama wale watu waliokuwa wameketi kumzunguka pande zote, akasema, “Hawa ndio mama yangu na ndugu zangu.
And having looked around in a circle to those sitting around Him, He says, “Behold, My mother and My brothers!
35 Mtu yeyote anayetenda mapenzi ya Mungu, huyo ndiye ndugu yangu, na dada yangu na mama yangu.”
For whoever may do the will of God, he is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
