Mambo ya Walawi 9
1 Katika siku ya nane, Mose akawaita Aroni na wanawe, na wazee wa Israeli.
On the eighth day after the ordination Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel, to meet with him.
2 Akamwambia Aroni, “Chukua ndama dume kwa ajili ya sadaka yako ya dhambi, na kondoo dume kwa sadaka yako ya kuteketezwa, wote wawili wasiwe na dosari, nao uwalete mbele za Bwana.
He told Aaron, “You need to bring a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, both without defects, and present them before the Lord.
3 Kisha waambie Waisraeli: ‘Chukueni mbuzi dume kwa ajili ya sadaka ya dhambi, na ndama na mwana-kondoo, wote wawili wawe wa umri wa mwaka mmoja, na wasio na dosari, kwa ajili ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa,
Then tell the Israelites, ‘Bring the following offerings: a male goat as a sin offering; a calf and a lamb, (both a year old and without defects), for a burnt offering;
4 na pia maksai na kondoo dume kwa ajili ya sadaka ya amani, ili kutoa dhabihu mbele za Bwana, pamoja na sadaka ya nafaka iliyochanganywa na mafuta. Kwa kuwa leo Bwana atawatokea.’”
a bull and a ram as a peace offering to sacrifice before the Lord; and a grain offering mixed with olive oil. Do this because today the Lord is going to reveal himself to you today.’”
5 Wakavileta vile vitu Mose alivyowaagiza mbele ya Hema la Kukutania, nalo kusanyiko lote likakaribia na kusimama mbele za Bwana.
Following Moses' orders they brought what he'd said to the front of the Tent of Meeting. Everyone came and stood before the Lord.
6 Ndipo Mose akasema, “Hili ndilo Bwana alilowaagiza mlifanye, ili utukufu wa Bwana upate kuonekana kwenu.”
Moses said, “This is what the Lord ordered me to tell you to do, so that you may see his glory.”
7 Mose akamwambia Aroni, “Njoo madhabahuni ili utoe dhabihu yako ya sadaka ya dhambi na sadaka yako ya kuteketezwa, ufanye upatanisho kwa ajili yako mwenyewe na kwa ajili ya watu. Kisha utoe sadaka ya upatanisho kwa ajili ya watu, kama vile Bwana alivyoagiza.”
Then Moses told Aaron, “Go to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to make you and the people right. Then sacrifice the offerings brought by the people as a means to make them right, as the Lord ordered.”
8 Hivyo Aroni akaja madhabahuni na kumchinja yule ndama kuwa sadaka ya dhambi kwa ajili yake mwenyewe.
So Aaron went to the altar and killed the calf as a sin offering for himself.
9 Wanawe wakamletea damu, naye akachovya kidole chake katika hiyo damu, akaitia kwenye pembe za madhabahu, nayo damu iliyobaki akaimwaga chini ya madhabahu.
His sons brought the blood to him. He dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar.
10 Juu ya madhabahu akateketeza mafuta, figo na mafuta yanayofunika ini kutoka kwenye hiyo sadaka ya dhambi, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver from the sin offering on the altar, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
11 Akateketeza nyama na ngozi nje ya kambi.
However, he burned up the meat and the skin outside the camp.
12 Kisha Aroni akachinja sadaka ya kuteketezwa. Wanawe wakamletea damu, naye akainyunyiza pande zote za madhabahu.
Aaron killed the burnt offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.
13 Wakamletea sadaka ya kuteketezwa kipande kwa kipande, pamoja na kichwa, naye akaviteketeza juu ya madhabahu.
They brought him the head and all the other pieces of the burnt offering, and he burned them on the altar.
14 Akasafisha sehemu za ndani na miguu, akaviteketeza juu ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa juu ya madhabahu.
He washed the insides and the legs and burned them with the rest of the burnt offering on the altar.
15 Kisha Aroni akaleta sadaka ile iliyokuwa kwa ajili ya watu. Akachukua yule mbuzi wa sadaka ya dhambi kwa ajili ya watu, akamchinja na kumtoa kwa ajili ya sadaka ya dhambi, kama alivyofanya kwa ile ya kwanza.
Then Aaron presented the offerings of the people. He killed the male goat as the sin offering for the people, and offered it in the same way as his own sin offering.
16 Aroni akaleta sadaka ya kuteketezwa na kuitoa kama ilivyoelekezwa.
He presented the burnt offering, doing so in accordance with the regulations.
17 Pia akaleta sadaka ya nafaka, akachukua konzi moja na kuiteketeza juu ya madhabahu, pamoja na sadaka ya kuteketezwa ya asubuhi.
He presented the grain offering. He took a handful from it and burned it on the altar, in addition to the burnt offering presented earlier that morning.
18 Akachinja maksai na kondoo dume kama sadaka ya amani kwa ajili ya watu. Wanawe Aroni wakampa ile damu, naye akainyunyiza kwenye madhabahu pande zote.
Aaron killed the bull and the ram as the peace offering for the people. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.
19 Lakini sehemu zile za mafuta ya yule maksai na kondoo dume, yaani mafuta ya mkia, mafuta yaliyofunika tumbo, ya figo na yaliyofunika ini,
They also brought him the fat portions from the bull, and from the ram—the fat tail, the fat covering the insides, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver—
20 hivi vyote wakaviweka juu ya vidari, kisha Aroni akayateketeza hayo mafuta ya wanyama juu ya madhabahu.
and put them on the breasts. Aaron burned the fat portions on the altar,
21 Aroni akaviinua vile vidari na paja la kulia mbele za Bwana ili viwe sadaka ya kuinuliwa, kama Mose alivyoagiza.
but he waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had ordered him to do.
22 Kisha Aroni akainua mikono yake kuwaelekea watu na kuwabariki. Naye baada ya kutoa dhabihu ya sadaka ya dhambi, sadaka ya kuteketezwa, na sadaka ya amani, akashuka chini.
Then Aaron held up his hands towards the people and blessed them. After that he came down from the altar, having completed the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.
23 Kisha Mose na Aroni wakaingia kwenye Hema la Kukutania. Walipotoka nje, wakawabariki watu. Nao utukufu wa Bwana ukawatokea watu wote.
Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord was revealed to everyone.
24 Moto ukaja kutoka uwepo wa Bwana, ukairamba ile sadaka ya kuteketezwa, pamoja na sehemu ya mafuta yaliyokuwa juu ya madhabahu. Watu wote walipoona jambo hili, wakapiga kelele kwa furaha na kusujudu.
Fire came from the presence of the Lord and burned up the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. When everyone saw this, they shouted for joy and fell down with their faces to the ground.
