Waamuzi 16
1 Siku moja Samsoni alienda Gaza, akamwona mwanamke kahaba, naye akaingia kwake.
And he went Samson Gaza towards and he saw there a woman a prostitute and he went into her.
2 Watu wa Gaza wakaambiwa, “Samsoni amekuja huku!” Hivyo wakapazingira mahali pale nao wakamvizia usiku kucha, penye lango la mji. Wakanyamaza kimya usiku kucha, wakisema, “Tumvizie hadi mapambazuko, ndipo tutamuua.”
To the Gazites - saying he has come Samson here and they surrounded and they lay in wait for him all the night at [the] gate of the city and they were silent all the night saying until [the] light of the morning and we will kill him.
3 Samsoni akalala mpaka usiku wa manane. Akaondoka katikati ya usiku, akashika milango ya lango la mji pamoja na miimo yake miwili, akaingʼoa, makomeo yake na vyote. Akaviweka mabegani mwake na kuvipeleka mpaka kwenye kilele cha mlima ule unaokabili Hebroni.
And he lay down Samson until [the] middle of the night and he arose - in [the] middle of the night and he took hold on [the] doors of [the] gate of the city and on [the] two the doorposts and he pulled up them with the bar and he put [them] on shoulders his and he carried up them to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Hebron.
4 Baada ya hayo akampenda mwanamke mmoja katika Bonde la Soreki aliyeitwa Delila.
And it was after thus and he loved a woman in [the] valley of Sorek and name her [was] Delilah.
5 Viongozi wa Wafilisti wakamwendea yule mwanamke na kumwambia, “Umbembeleze ili upate kujua siri za nguvu zake zilizo nyingi na jinsi tutakavyoweza kumshinda ili tuweze kumfunga na kumtiisha. Nasi kila mmoja wetu tutakupa shekeli 1,100 za fedha.”
And they went up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they said to her entice him and see how? [is] strength his great and how? will we prevail to him and we will bind him to humble him and we we will give to you each one thousand and one hundred silver.
6 Hivyo Delila akamwambia Samsoni, “Naomba niambie siri ya hizi nguvu zako nyingi na jinsi utakavyoweza kufungwa ili kukutiisha.”
And she said Delilah to Samson tell! please to me how? [is] strength your great and how? will you be bound to humble you.
7 Samsoni akamjibu, “Kama wakinifunga kwa kamba saba za upinde ambazo hazijakauka bado, hapo ndipo nitakapokuwa dhaifu kama mtu mwingine yeyote.”
And he said to her Samson if people will bind me with seven cords fresh which not they have been dried and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
8 Viongozi wa Wafilisti wakamletea yule mwanamke kamba saba za upinde ambazo hazijakauka bado, akamfunga nazo Samsoni.
And they brought up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines seven cords fresh which not they had been dried and she bound him with them.
9 Wakati watu wakiwa wanamvizia katika chumba cha ndani, yule mwanamke akamwambia, “Samsoni, Wafilisti wanakujia!” Lakini yeye akazikata zile kamba za upinde, kama vile uzi wa pamba unapoguswa na moto. Hivyo siri ya nguvu zake haikujulikana.
And the ambusher [was] sitting of her in the chamber and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he tore apart the cords just as it is torn apart thread of tow when smells it fire and not it was known strength his.
10 Ndipo Delila akamwambia Samsoni, “Umenifanyia mzaha na kuniambia uongo. Tafadhali niambie waweza kufungwa kwa kitu gani?”
And she said Delilah to Samson here! you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies now tell! please to me how? will you be bound.
11 Akamwambia, “Wakinifunga kwa uthabiti kwa kamba mpya ambazo hazijatumika, basi nitakuwa dhaifu kama mtu mwingine yeyote.”
And he said to her certainly [if] they will bind me with ropes new which not it has been done with them work and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
12 Hivyo Delila akachukua kamba mpya na kumfunga nazo. Kisha akamwambia, “Samsoni, Wafilisti wanakujia!” Wale watu waliokuwa wanamvizia walikuwa katika chumba cha ndani. Lakini akazikata zile kamba zilizokuwa zimefunga mikono yake kama akatavyo uzi.
And she took Delilah ropes new and she bound him with them and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and the ambusher [was] sitting in the chamber and he tore apart them from on arms his like thread.
13 Ndipo Delila akamwambia Samsoni, “Mpaka sasa, umenifanyia mzaha na kuniambia uongo. Nieleze ni jinsi gani utakavyoweza kufungwa.” Samsoni akamwambia, “Kama ukivisuka hivi vishungi saba vya nywele za kichwa changu katika mtande wa nguo na kukaza kwa msumari, ndipo nitakuwa dhaifu kama mtu mwingine yeyote.” Hivyo Samsoni alipokuwa amelala, Delila akachukua vile vishungi saba vya nywele za kichwa chake na kuvifunga kwenye mtande wa nguo,
And she said Delilah to Samson until now you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies tell! to me how? will you be bound and he said to her if you will weave seven [the] plaits of head my with the web. (And you will strike with a pin to the wall and I will be weak and I will be like one man. *X*)
14 na kuvikaza kwa msumari. Kisha akamwambia, “Samsoni, Wafilisti wanakujia!” Lakini akaamka kutoka usingizini na kuungʼoa ule msumari na ule mtande.
(And she made sleep him and she wove seven [the] plaits head his with the web *X*) and she thrust with the pin and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he pulled out the pin of the loom and the web.
15 Ndipo Delila akamwambia, “Wawezaje kusema, ‘Nakupenda,’ wakati moyo wako haupo pamoja nami? Umenifanyia mzaha mara hizi tatu na hujaniambia siri ya hizi nguvu zako nyingi.”
And she said to him how? will you say I love you and heart your not [is] with me this three times you have deceived me and not you have told to me how? [is] strength your great.
16 Hatimaye, baada ya kuwa anamsumbua kwa maneno siku kwa siku na kumuudhi, roho yake ikataabika hata kufa.
And it was that she pressed him with words her all the days and she urged him and it was short self his to die.
17 Hivyo akamwambia yule mwanamke siri yake yote, akamwambia, “Wembe haujapita kamwe kichwani mwangu, kwa kuwa mimi ni Mnadhiri wa Mungu tangu tumboni mwa mama yangu. Kama nywele za kichwa changu zikinyolewa, nguvu zangu zitanitoka, na nitakuwa dhaifu kama mtu mwingine yeyote!”
And he told to her all heart his and he said to her a razor not it has come up on head my for [am] a Nazirite of God I from [the] womb of mother my if I was shaved and it will depart from me strength my and I will be weak and I will be like every man.
18 Delila alipoona kuwa amemweleza siri yake yote, akatuma ujumbe kwa viongozi wa Wafilisti na kusema, “Njooni tena mara nyingine, maana amenieleza siri yake yote.” Basi viongozi wa Wafilisti wakaja kwa Delila, wakiwa na fedha mikononi mwao.
And she saw (Delilah *LA(bh)*) that he had told to her all heart his and she sent and she summoned [the] rulers of [the] Philistines saying come up this time for he has told (to me *Q(K)*) all heart his and they came up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they brought up the silver in hand their.
19 Delila akamfanya alale usingizi magotini pake, akamwita mtu akamnyoa vile vishungi saba vya nywele za kichwa chake. Akaanza kumsumbua ili aamke nazo nguvu zake zikamtoka.
And she made sleep him on knees her and she summoned the man and she shaved off seven [the] plaits of head his and she began to humble him and it departed strength his from on him.
20 Yule mwanamke akamwita, “Samsoni, hao Wafilisti wanakujia!” Akaamka toka usingizini akasema, “Nitatoka nje kama hapo awali, nitawakungʼutia mbali na kuwa huru.” Lakini hakujua kuwa Bwana amemwacha.
And she said [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he said I will go out as time on time so I may shake myself free and he not he knew that Yahweh he had departed from with him.
21 Basi Wafilisti wakamkamata, wakamngʼoa macho yake, wakamchukua wakamteremsha mpaka Gaza. Wakiwa wamemfunga kwa pingu za shaba, wakamweka ili asage ngano huko gerezani.
And they seized him [the] Philistines and they gouged out eyes his and they brought down him Gaza towards and they bound him with bronze fetters and he was grinding in [the] house of (those imprisoned. *Q(K)*)
22 Wakati huo nywele za kichwa chake zikaanza kukua tena baada ya kunyolewa.
And it began [the] hair of head his to grow back when it had been shaved.
23 Basi viongozi wa Wafilisti wakakusanyika pamoja ili kutoa kafara kwa mungu wao Dagoni na kufanya karamu, wakisema, “Mungu wetu amemtia adui yetu Samsoni mikononi mwetu.”
And [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they gathered to sacrifice a sacrifice great to Dagon god their and for joy and they said he has given god our in hand our Samson enemies our.
24 Watu walipomwona Samsoni wakamsifu mungu wao, wakisema: “Sasa mungu wetu amemtia adui yetu mikononi mwetu, yule aliyeharibu nchi yetu na kuwaua watu wengi miongoni mwetu.”
And they saw him the people and they praised god their for they said he has given god our in hand our enemy our and [the] desolator of land our and who he has multiplied slain [ones] our.
25 Mioyo yao ilipokuwa imefurahishwa wakasema, “Mleteni Samsoni aje acheze ili tufurahi.” Basi wakamleta Samsoni kutoka mle gerezani naye akacheza mbele yao. Wakamweka kati ya nguzo mbili.
And it was (like good *Q(K)*) heart their and they said summon Samson so he may make sport for us and they summoned Samson from [the] house of (those imprisoned *Q(K)*) and he made sport before them and they made stand him between the pillars.
26 Samsoni akamwambia mtumishi aliyeshika mkono wake, “Niweke mahali ambapo ninaweza kuzigusa nguzo ambazo zinategemeza jengo ili nipate kuziegemea.”
And he said Samson to the young man who kept hold on hand his permit! me (and let feel me *Q(K)*) the pillars which the house [is] established on them so I may lean on them.
27 Basi lile jengo lilikuwa na wingi wa watu waume kwa wake; viongozi wote wa Wafilisti walikuwamo humo, na kwenye sakafu ya juu walikuwepo watu 3,000 waume kwa wake, waliokuwa wakimtazama Samsoni wakati anacheza.
And the house was full men and women and [were] there all [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and [were] on the roof about three thousand man and woman who were looking when sported Samson.
28 Ndipo Samsoni akamwomba Bwana, akasema, “Ee Bwana Mwenyezi, unikumbuke. Ee Mungu, nakusihi ukanitie nguvu mara hii moja tena, ili kwa tendo hili nipate kulipiza kisasi juu ya Wafilisti kwa ajili ya macho yangu mawili.”
And he called out Samson to Yahweh and he said O Lord Yahweh remember me please and strengthen me please only the time this O God so let me avenge myself vengeance of one from [the] two eyes my from [the] Philistines.
29 Ndipo Samsoni akazikaribia zile nguzo mbili za katikati ambazo lile jengo lilikuwa linazitegemea. Akazishika moja kwa mkono wa kuume na nyingine mkono wa kushoto.
And he grasped Samson [the] two - [the] pillars of the middle which the house [was] established on them and he supported himself on them one in right [hand] his and one in left [hand] his.
30 Samsoni akasema, “Nife pamoja na Wafilisti!” Ndipo akazisukuma zile nguzo kwa nguvu zake zote, lile jengo likaanguka juu ya viongozi na watu wote waliokuwamo mle ndani yake. Hivyo akawaua watu wengi wakati wa kufa kwake kuliko siku za uhai wake.
And he said Samson let it die life my with [the] Philistines and he stretched out with strength and it fell the house on the rulers and on all the people which [was] in it and they were the dead whom he killed in death his many more than [those] whom he had killed in life his.
31 Basi ndugu zake na jamaa yote ya baba yake wakateremka kwenda kumchukua. Wakampandisha na kumzika kati ya Sora na Eshtaoli kwenye kaburi la Manoa baba yake. Naye Samsoni alikuwa mwamuzi wa Israeli kwa miaka ishirini.
And they went down brothers his and all [the] household of father his and they carried him and they brought [him] up - and they buried him between Zorah and between Eshtaol in [the] tomb of Manoah father his and he he judged Israel twenty year[s].
