Ayubu 36
1 Elihu akaendelea kusema:
Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2 “Nivumilie kidogo zaidi nami nitakuonyesha kwamba yako mengi zaidi ya kusemwa kwa ajili ya Mungu.
Suffer me a little, and I will show thee that [I have] yet to speak on God's behalf.
3 Ninayapata maarifa yangu kutoka mbali, nami nitamhesabia haki Muumba wangu.
I will bring my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4 Uwe na hakika kwamba maneno yangu si ya uongo; mmoja aliye mkamilifu katika maarifa yuko pamoja na wewe.
For truly my words [shall] not [be] false: he that is perfect in knowledge [is] with thee.
5 “Mungu ni mwenye nguvu, lakini hamdharau mwanadamu; ni mwenye nguvu, naye ni thabiti katika shauri lake.
Behold, God [is] mighty, and despiseth not [any]: [he is] mighty in strength [and] wisdom.
6 Hawaachi waovu waendelee kuishi, bali huwapa walioteswa haki yao.
He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
7 Yeye haondoi macho yake kwa wenye haki; huwaketisha penye viti vya enzi pamoja na wafalme na kuwatukuza milele.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings [are they] on the throne; yes, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
8 Lakini ikiwa watu wamefungwa kwenye minyororo, wakiwa wameshikiliwa na kamba za mateso,
And if [they are] bound in fetters, [and] are held in cords of affliction;
9 huwaonyesha yale waliyoyatenda, kwamba wametenda dhambi kwa majivuno.
Then he showeth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
10 Huwafanya wao kusikia maonyo, na huwaagiza kutubu uovu wao.
He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
11 Kama wakitii na kumtumikia, wataishi siku zao zilizobaki katika mafanikio, na miaka yao katika utoshelevu.
If they obey and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 Lakini wasiposikiliza, wataangamia kwa upanga, nao watakufa pasipo maarifa.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
13 “Wasiomcha Mungu moyoni mwao huficha chuki; hata anapowafunga, hawamwombi msaada.
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
14 Wanakufa wangali vijana, miongoni mwa wanaume hanithi wa mahali pa kuabudia miungu.
They die in youth, and their life [is] among the unclean.
15 Bali wao wanaoteseka huwaokoa katika mateso yao, na kuzungumza nao katika dhiki zao.
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
16 “Yeye anakubembeleza utoke katika mataya ya dhiki, ili kukuweka mahali palipo na nafasi mbali na kizuizi, hadi kwenye meza yako ya faraja iliyojaa vyakula vizuri.
Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait [into] a broad place, where [there is] no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table [would be] full of fatness.
17 Lakini sasa umelemewa na hukumu kwa ajili ya uovu; hukumu na haki vimekukamata.
But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
18 Uwe mwangalifu ili yeyote asikushawishi kwa utajiri; usipotoshwe kwa fungu kubwa la rushwa.
Because [there is] wrath, [beware] lest he take thee away with [his] stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
19 Je, utajiri wako hata nguvu zako nyingi vinaweza kukusaidia usiingie kwenye dhiki?
Will he esteem thy riches? [no], not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
20 Usiutamani usiku uje, ili uwaburute watu mbali na nyumba zao.
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
21 Jihadhari usigeukie uovu, ambao unaupenda zaidi kuliko mateso.
Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
22 “Mungu ametukuzwa katika nguvu zake. Ni nani aliye mwalimu kama yeye?
Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
23 Ni nani aliyemwelekeza katika njia zake, au kumwambia, ‘Wewe umetenda yasiyo sawa’?
Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
24 Kumbuka kuzitukuza kazi zake, ambazo watu wamezisifu katika wimbo.
Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
25 Wanadamu wote wameiona; watu wanaikazia macho kwa mbali.
Every man may see it; man may behold [it] afar off.
26 Tazama jinsi Mungu alivyo mkuu, kupita ufahamu wetu! Hesabu ya miaka yake haitafutiki.
Behold, God [is] great, and we know [him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27 “Yeye huvuta juu matone ya maji, ayachujayo kama mvua kutoka kwenye vijito;
For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapor of it.
28 mawingu huangusha chini maji yake, nayo mvua nyingi huwanyeshea wanadamu.
Which the clouds do drop [and] distill upon man abundantly.
29 Ni nani ajuaye jinsi ayatandazavyo mawingu, jinsi angurumavyo kutoka hemani mwake.
Also can [any] understand the spreadings of the clouds, [or] the noise of his tabernacle?
30 Tazama jinsi anavyotandaza umeme wa radi kumzunguka, naye huvifunika vilindi vya bahari.
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
31 Hivi ndivyo atawalavyo mataifa, na kuwapa chakula kwa wingi.
For by them he judgeth the people; he giveth food in abundance.
32 Huujaza mkono wake kwa umeme wa radi, na kuuagiza kulenga shabaha yake.
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it [not to shine] by [the] intervening [cloud].
33 Ngurumo zake hutangaza dhoruba inayokuja; hata mifugo hujulisha kukaribia kwake.
The noise of it showeth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapor.
