1 Katika mwaka wa ishirini na tano wa uhamisho wetu, mwanzoni mwa huo mwaka, siku ya kumi ya mwezi, katika mwaka wa kumi na nne baada ya kuanguka kwa mji, siku hiyo hiyo mkono wa Bwana ulikuwa juu yangu, naye akanipeleka huko.
In the fiue and twentieth yeere of our being in captiuitie, in the beginning of the yeere, in the tenth day of the moneth, in the fourteenth yeere after that the citie was smitten, in the selfe same day, the hande of the Lord was vpon mee, and brought me thither.
2 Nikiwa katika maono ya Mungu alinichukua mpaka nchi ya Israeli, naye akaniweka kwenye mlima mrefu sana, ambako upande wa kusini kulikuwepo baadhi ya majengo ambayo yalionekana kama mji.
Into the lande of Israel brought he me by a diuine vision, and set me vpon a very hie mountaine, whereupon was as the building of a citie, toward the South.
3 Akanipeleka huko, nami nikamwona mtu ambaye kuonekana kwake kulikuwa kama kuonekana kwa shaba. Alikuwa amesimama kwenye lango akiwa na kamba ya kitani na ufito wa kupimia mkononi mwake.
And he brought me thither, and beholde, there was a man, whose similitude was to looke to, like brasse, with a linnen thread in his hand, and a reede to measure with: and he stoode at the gate.
4 Mtu huyo akaniambia, “Mwanadamu, angalia kwa macho yako na usikie kwa masikio yako nawe uzingatie kitu nitakachokuonyesha, kwa kuwa ndiyo sababu umeletwa hapa. Iambie nyumba ya Israeli kila kitu utakachoona.”
And the man said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde with thine eyes, and heare with thine eares, and set thine heart vpon all that I shall shew thee: for to the intent, that they might be shewed thee, art thou brought hither: declare al that thou seest, vnto the house of Israel.
5 Nikaona ukuta uliozunguka eneo lote la Hekalu. Ule ufito wa kupimia uliokuwa mkononi mwa yule mtu ulikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa ndefu sita, yaani, dhiraa ndefu ni sawa na dhiraa na nyanda nne, akapima ule ukuta. Ukuta huo ulikuwa na unene wa dhiraa ndefu sita na kimo cha dhiraa ndefu sita.
And beholde, I sawe a wall on the outside of the house round about: and in the mans hand was a reede to measure with, of sixe cubites long, by the cubite, and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the buylding with one reede, and the height with one reede.
6 Kisha akaenda kwenye lango linaloelekea mashariki. Akapanda ngazi zake akapima kizingiti cha lango, nacho kilikuwa na kina cha huo ufito.
Then came he vnto the gate, which looketh towarde the East, and went vp the stayres thereof, and measured the poste of the gate, which was one reede broade, and the other poste of the gate, which was one reede broade.
7 Vyumba vya kupumzikia vya walinzi vilikuwa na urefu wa huo ufito mmoja na upana wa huo ufito, kuta zilizogawa vyumba hivyo vya mapumziko zilikuwa na unene wa dhiraa tano. Nacho kizingiti cha lango lililokuwa karibu na ukumbi unaoelekea hekaluni ulikuwa na kina cha huo ufito.
And euery chamber was one reede long, and one reede broad, and betweene the chambers were fiue cubites: and the post of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reede.
8 Kisha akapima baraza ya njia ya lango,
He measured also the porche of the gate within with one reede.
9 ambayo ilikuwa na kina cha dhiraa nane na miimo yake ilikuwa na unene wa dhiraa mbili. Baraza ya lango ilielekea Hekalu.
Then measured he the porch of the gate of eight cubites, and the postes thereof, of two cubites, and the porch of the gate was inward.
10 Ndani ya lango la mashariki kulikuwepo vyumba vitatu vya kupumzikia kila upande, vyote vitatu vilikuwa na vipimo vilivyo sawa, nazo nyuso za kuta zilizotenganisha kila upande zilikuwa na vipimo vilivyo sawa.
And the chambers of the gate Eastwarde, were three on this side, and three on that side: they three were of one measure, and the postes had one measure on this side, and one on that side.
11 Kisha akapima upana wa ingilio la lango, ilikuwa dhiraa kumi na urefu wake ulikuwa dhiraa kumi na tatu.
And he measured the breadth of the entrie of the gate ten cubites, and the height of the gate thirteene cubites.
12 Mbele ya kila chumba cha kupumzikia kulikuwepo ukuta uliokuwa na kimo cha dhiraa moja kwenda juu, navyo hivyo vyumba vilikuwa dhiraa sita mraba.
The space also before the chambers was one cubite on this side, and the space was one cubite on that side, and the chambers were sixe cubites on this side and sixe cubites on that side.
13 Kisha akapima njia ya lango kuanzia juu ya ukuta wa nyuma wa chumba kimoja cha kupumzikia hadi juu ya ukuta wa nyuma wa chumba upande wa pili; kukawa na nafasi ya dhiraa ishirini na tano kuanzia lango la ukuta mmoja hadi lango la ukuta uliokuwa upande mwingine.
He measured then the gate from the roufe of a chamber to the toppe of the gate: the breadth was fiue and twentie cubites, doore against doore.
14 Akapima pia ukumbi, urefu wa dhiraa ishirini na lango linalofuatia hiyo nguzo kila upande wa huo ukumbi.
He made also postes of threescore cubites, and the postes of the court, and of the gate had one measure round about.
15 Umbali kuanzia ingilio la njia ya lango hadi mwisho kabisa wa baraza yake ulikuwa dhiraa hamsini.
And vpon the forefront of the entry of the gate vnto the forefront of the porch of the gate within were fiftie cubites.
16 Kulikuwa na vidirisha kwenye hivyo vyumba vya walinzi na nguzo za hivyo vyumba zilikuwa kwenye mzunguko wa hilo lango, vivyo hivyo kulikuwa na madirisha yaliyozunguka kuelekeana na ua na juu ya kila nguzo kulikuwa na mapambo ya miti ya mitende.
And there were narrowe windowes in the chambers, and in their postes within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and the windowes went rounde about within: and vpon the postes were palme trees.
17 Kisha akanileta katika ukumbi wa nje. Huko nikaona vyumba vingine pamoja na njia iliyokuwa imejengwa kuzunguka ukumbi wote, kulikuwa na vyumba thelathini vimepangana kando ya hiyo njia.
Then brought he me into the outwarde court, and lo, there were chambers, and a pauement made for the court round about, and thirtie chambers were vpon the pauement.
18 Njia hii iliyojengwa iliambaa na lango, ikiwa na urefu sawa na lango, hii ilikuwa ni njia ya chini.
And the pauement was by the side of the gates ouer against the length of the gates, and the pauement was beneath.
19 Kisha akapima umbali kutoka ndani ya lango la chini mpaka nje ya ukumbi wa ndani, nao ulikuwa dhiraa mia moja upande wa mashariki na dhiraa mia moja upande wa kaskazini.
Then hee measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate without, vnto the forefront of the court within, an hundreth cubits Eastward and Northward.
20 Kisha akapima urefu na upana wa lango linaloelekea kaskazini, kukabili ukumbi wa nje.
And the gate of the outwarde court, that looked toward the North, measured he after the length and breadth thereof.
21 Vyumba vyake vilikuwa vitatu kila upande, kuta zilizogawanya vyumba na baraza ilikuwa na vipimo sawa na zile kuta za lango la kwanza. Zilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa hamsini na upana wa dhiraa ishirini na tano.
And the chambers thereof were, three on this side, and three on that side, and the postes thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
22 Madirisha yake, baraza yake na nakshi yake ya miti ya mitende vilikuwa na vipimo sawasawa na vile vya lango linaloelekea mashariki. Kulikuwa na ngazi saba za kupandia huko, pamoja na baraza yake mkabala nazo.
And their windowes, and their arches with their palme trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the East, and the going vp vnto it had seuen steppes, and the arches therof were before them.
23 Kulikuwa na lango kwenye ukumbi wa ndani lililoelekea lile lango la kaskazini, kama vile ilivyokuwa ule upande wa mashariki. Akapima kutoka lango moja hadi lile lililo mkabala nalo, lilikuwa dhiraa mia moja.
And the gate of the inner court stoode ouer against the gate towarde the North, and towarde the East, and hee measured from gate to gate an hundreth cubites.
24 Ndipo akaniongoza mpaka upande wa kusini, nami nikaona lango linaloelekea kusini. Akaipima miimo yake na baraza yake, navyo vilikuwa na vipimo sawa kama hivyo vingine.
After that, he brought mee towarde the South, and loe, there was a gate towarde the South, and hee measured the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures.
25 Lango na baraza yake vilikuwa na madirisha membamba pande zote, kama madirisha ya huko kwingine. Ilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa hamsini na upana wake dhiraa ishirini na tano.
And there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof round about, like those windowes: the height was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
26 Kulikuwa na ngazi saba za kupandia huko, pamoja na baraza yake mkabala nazo. Ilikuwa na nakshi za miti ya mitende kwenye kuta zilizogawanya vyumba kila upande.
And there were seuen steps to go vp to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palme trees, one on this side, and another on that side vpon the post thereof.
27 Ukumbi wa ndani pia ulikuwa na lango lililoelekea kusini. Naye akapima kutoka lango hili mpaka kwenye lango la nje upande wa kusini; ilikuwa dhiraa mia moja.
And there was a gate in the inner court towarde the South, and he measured from gate to gate towarde the South an hundreth cubites.
28 Kisha akanileta mpaka ukumbi wa ndani kwa kupitia lango la kusini, naye akapima lango la kusini, ambalo lilikuwa na vipimo sawa na yale mengine.
And he brought me into the inner court by the South gate, and he measured the South gate according to these measures,
29 Vyumba vyake, kuta zilizogawanya vyumba na ukumbi wake zilikuwa na vipimo sawasawa na zile nyingine. Hilo lango na baraza yake vilikuwa na madirisha pande zote. Navyo vilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa hamsini na upana wa dhiraa ishirini na tano.
And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures, and there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof rounde about, it was fiftie cubites long and fiue and twentie cubites broade.
30 (Baraza za malango zilizozunguka ukumbi wa ndani zilikuwa na upana wa dhiraa ishirini na tano na kina cha dhiraa tano.)
And the arches round about were fiue and twenty cubites long, and fiue cubites broad.
31 Baraza yake ilielekeana na ukumbi wa nje, miimo yake ilinakshiwa miti ya mitende, kulikuwa na ngazi nane za kupandia huko.
And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
32 Kisha akanileta mpaka kwenye ukumbi wa ndani ulioko upande wa mashariki, naye akalipima lango hilo, lilikuwa na vipimo vilivyo sawasawa na yale mengine.
Againe he brought me into ye inner court toward the East, and he measured the gate according to these measures.
33 Vyumba vyake, kuta zake na baraza yake vilikuwa na vipimo vilivyo sawa na vile vingine. Lile lango pamoja na baraza yake vilikuwa na madirisha pande zote. Urefu wake ulikuwa dhiraa hamsini na upana wake dhiraa ishirini na tano.
And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof were according to these measures, and there were windowes therein, and in the arches thereof round about, it was fiftie cubites long, and fiue and twentie cubites broade.
34 Baraza yake ilielekea ukumbi wa nje, miimo yake ilinakshiwa miti ya mitende pande zote. Kulikuwa na ngazi nane za kupandia huko.
And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, on this side and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
35 Kisha akanileta mpaka kwenye lango la kaskazini na kulipima. Lilikuwa na vipimo sawa na yale mengine,
After he brought mee to the North gate, and measured it, according to these measures,
36 kama vile ilivyokuwa kwa vyumba, kuta zake na baraza yake, tena kulikuwa na madirisha pande zote. Ilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa hamsini na upana wake dhiraa ishirini na tano.
The chambers thereof, the postes thereof, and the arches thereof, and there were windowes therein round about: the height was fiftie cubits, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
37 Baraza yake ilielekeana na ukumbi wa nje, miimo yake ilinakshiwa miti ya mitende pande zote, kulikuwa na ngazi nane za kupandia huko.
And the postes thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof on this side, and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steps.
38 Kulikuwa na chumba na mlango karibu na baraza katika kila njia ya ndani ya lango ambamo sadaka za kuteketezwa zilioshwa.
And euery chamber, and the entrie thereof was vnder the postes of the gates: there they washed the burnt offring.
39 Kwenye baraza ya lile lango kulikuwepo meza mbili kila upande, ambako sadaka za kuteketezwa, sadaka za dhambi na sadaka za hatia zilichinjiwa.
And in the porch of the gate stoode two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, vpon the which they slew the burnt offring, and the sinne offring, and the trespas offring.
40 Karibu na ukuta wa nje wa baraza ya lile lango karibu na ngazi kwenye ingilio kuelekea kaskazini kulikuwa na meza mbili, nako upande mwingine wa ngazi kulikuwepo na meza mbili.
And at the side beyond the steppes, at the entry of the North gate stoode two tables, and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate were two tables.
41 Kwa hiyo kulikuwa na meza nne upande mmoja wa lango na nyingine nne upande mwingine, zote zilikuwa meza nane, ambapo dhabihu zilichinjiwa.
Foure tables were on this side, and foure tables on that side by the side of the gate, euen eight tables whereupon they slew their sacrifice.
42 Pia kulikuwa na meza nne za mawe yaliyochongwa kwa ajili ya sadaka za kuteketezwa, kila meza ilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa moja na nusu, upana wake dhiraa moja na nusu na kimo cha dhiraa moja. Juu ya meza hizo viliwekwa vyombo vya kuchinjia sadaka za kuteketezwa na dhabihu nyingine mbalimbali.
And the foure tables were of hewen stone for the burnt offering, of a cubite and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade, and one cubite hie: whereupon also they layde the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offring and the sacrifice.
43 Kulikuwa na kulabu, urefu wake nyanda nne, zilikuwa zimeshikizwa ukutani pande zote. Meza zilikuwa kwa ajili ya nyama za sadaka.
And within were borders an hand broade, fastened round about, and vpon the tables lay the flesh of the offring.
44 Nje ya lango la ndani, kwenye ukumbi wa ndani, kulikuwa na vyumba viwili, kimoja upande wa lango la kaskazini nacho kilielekea kusini, kingine upande wa lango la kusini nacho kilielekea kaskazini.
And without the inner gate were ye chambers of the singers in the inner Court, which was at the side of the North gate: and their prospect was towarde the South, and one was at the side of the East gate, hauing the prospect towarde the North.
45 Akaniambia, “Chumba kinachoelekea upande wa kusini ni kwa ajili ya makuhani ambao wana usimamizi wa hekaluni,
And he said vnto me, This chamber whose prospect is towarde the South, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the house.
46 nacho chumba kinachoelekea upande wa kaskazini ni kwa ajili ya makuhani wenye usimamizi wa madhabahuni. Hawa ni wana wa Sadoki, ambao ndio Walawi pekee wanaoweza kumkaribia Bwana ili kuhudumu mbele zake.”
And the chamber whose prospect is toward the North, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the altar: these are the sonnes of Zadok among ye sonnes of Leui which may come neere to the Lord to minister vnto him.
47 Ndipo alipopima ukumbi: nao ulikuwa mraba wa dhiraa mia moja urefu na upana. Madhabahu yalikuwa mbele ya Hekalu.
So he measured the court, an hundreth cubites long, and an hundreth cubits broad, eue foure square: likewise the altar that was before ye house.
48 Akanileta mpaka kwenye baraza ya Hekalu naye akaipima miimo ya hiyo baraza, nayo ilikuwa na upana wa dhiraa tatu kila upande. Upana wa ingilio ulikuwa dhiraa kumi na nne na kuta zake zilikuwa na upana wa dhiraa tatu kila upande.
And hee brought mee to the porch of the house, and measured the postes of the porch, fiue cubites on this side, and fiue cubites on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubites on this side, and three cubites on that side.
49 Baraza ilikuwa na dhiraa ishirini kwenda juu na dhiraa kumi na mbili kuanzia mbele hadi nyuma. Kulikuwa na ngazi kumi za kupandia huko, pia kulikuwa na nguzo kwa kila upande wa miimo.
The length of the porch was twentie cubites, and ye breadth eleuen cubites, and he brought me by the steps whereby they went vp to it, and there were pillars by the postes, one on this side, and another on that side.
