Ezekieli 32
1 Katika mwaka wa kumi na mbili, mwezi wa kumi na mbili, siku ya kwanza ya mwezi, neno la Bwana likanijia, kusema:
And it comes to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
2 “Mwanadamu, fanya maombolezo kwa ajili ya Farao mfalme wa Misri na umwambie: “‘Wewe ni kama simba miongoni mwa mataifa, wewe ni kama joka kubwa baharini, unayevuruga maji kwa miguu yako na kuchafua vijito.
“Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and you have said to him: You have been like a young lion of nations, And you [are] as a dragon in the seas, And you come forth with your flowings, And trouble the waters with your feet, And you foul their flowings.
3 “‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Nikiwa pamoja na wingi mkubwa wa watu nitautupa wavu wangu juu yako, nao watakukokota katika wavu wangu.
Thus said Lord YHWH: And I have spread out My net for you, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought you up in My net.
4 Nitakutupa nchi kavu na kukuvurumisha uwanjani. Nitawafanya ndege wote wa angani watue juu yako na wanyama wote wa nchi watajishibisha nyama yako.
And I have left you in the land, I cast you out on the face of the field, And I have caused every bird of the heavens to dwell on you, And have satisfied every beast of the earth with you.
5 Nitatawanya nyama yako juu ya milima na kujaza mabonde kwa mabaki yako.
And I have put your flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys [with] your heap,
6 Nitailowanisha nchi kwa damu yako inayotiririka njia yote hadi milimani, nayo mabonde yatajazwa na nyama yako.
And watered the land with your flowing, From your blood—to the mountains, And streams are filled with you.
7 Nitakapokuzimisha, nitafunika mbingu na kuzitia nyota zake giza; nitalifunika jua kwa wingu, nao mwezi hautatoa nuru yake.
And in quenching you I have covered the heavens, And have made their stars black, I cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon does not cause its light to shine.
8 Mianga yote itoayo nuru angani nitaitia giza juu yako; nitaleta giza juu ya nchi yako, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.
I make all luminaries of light in the heavens black over you, And I have given darkness over your land, A declaration of Lord YHWH,
9 Nitaifadhaisha mioyo ya mataifa mengi nitakapokuangamiza miongoni mwa mataifa, nikikuleta uhamishoni miongoni mwa nchi ambazo haujapata kuzijua.
And I have distressed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in your destruction among nations, To lands that you have not known.
10 Nitayafanya mataifa mengi wakustaajabie, wafalme wao watatetemeka kwa hofu kwa ajili yako nitakapotikisa upanga wangu mbele yao. Siku ya anguko lako kila mmoja wao atatetemeka kila dakika kwa ajili ya maisha yake.
And I have made many peoples astonished at you, And their kings are afraid because of you with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life—in the day of your fall.
11 “‘Kwa kuwa hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Upanga wa mfalme wa Babeli utakuja dhidi yako.
For thus said Lord YHWH: A sword of the king of Babylon enters you,
12 Nitafanya makundi yako ya wajeuri kuanguka kwa panga za watu mashujaa, taifa katili kuliko mataifa yote. Watakivunjavunja kiburi cha Misri, nayo makundi yake yote ya wajeuri yatashindwa.
I cause your multitude to fall by swords of the mighty, The terrible of nations—all of them, And they have spoiled the excellence of Egypt, And all her multitude has been destroyed.
13 Nitaangamiza mifugo yake yote wanaojilisha kando ya maji mengi, hayatavurugwa tena kwa mguu wa mwanadamu wala kwato za mnyama hazitayachafua tena.
And I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And a foot of man does not trouble them anymore, Indeed, the hooves of beasts do not trouble them.
14 Kisha nitafanya maji yake yatulie na kufanya vijito vyake vitiririke kama mafuta, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.
Then I cause their waters to sink, And I cause their rivers to go as oil, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
15 Nitakapoifanya Misri kuwa ukiwa na kuiondolea nchi kila kitu kilichomo ndani yake, nitakapowapiga wote waishio humo, ndipo watakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’
In My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And the land has been desolated of its fullness, In My striking all the inhabitants in it, Then they have known that I [am] YHWH.
16 “Hili ndilo ombolezo watakalomwimbia. Binti za mataifa wataliimba, kwa kuwa Misri na makundi yake yote ya wajeuri wataliimba, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.”
It [is] a lamentation, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
17 Katika mwaka wa kumi na mbili, mwezi wa kwanza, siku ya kumi na tano ya mwezi, neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:
And it comes to pass, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
18 “Mwanadamu, omboleza kwa ajili ya makundi ya wajeuri wa Misri na uwatupe kuzimu yeye na binti za mataifa yenye nguvu, waende huko pamoja nao washukao shimoni. (questioned)
“Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It, and the daughters of majestic nations, To the lower parts of the earth, With those going down to the pit.
19 Je, ninyi mnamzidi nani kwa uzuri? Shukeni chini! Nanyi mkalazwe pamoja na hao wasiotahiriwa!
Whom have you surpassed in beauty? Go down, and be laid with [the] uncircumcised.
20 Wataanguka miongoni mwa wale waliouawa kwa upanga. Upanga umefutwa, mwache aburutwe mbali pamoja na hao wajeuri wake wote.
They fall in the midst of the pierced of the sword, She has been given [to] the sword, They drew her out, and all her multitude.
21 Kutoka kuzimu viongozi hodari watanena kuhusu Misri pamoja na wale walioungana nao, ‘Wameshuka chini, nao wamelala kimya pamoja na hao wasiotahiriwa, pamoja na wale waliouawa kwa upanga.’ (Sheol h7585)
The gods of the mighty speak to him out of the midst of Sheol, With his helpers—they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword. (Sheol h7585)
22 “Ashuru yuko huko pamoja na jeshi lake lote, amezungukwa na makaburi ya watu wake wote waliouawa, wale wote walioanguka kwa upanga.
There [is] Asshur, and all her assembly, His graves [are] around him, All of them [are] wounded, who are falling by sword,
23 Makaburi yao yako kwenye kina cha chini cha shimo na jeshi lake limelala kulizunguka kaburi lake. Wote waliokuwa wameeneza hofu kuu katika nchi ya walio hai wameuawa, wameanguka kwa upanga.
Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is around her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.
24 “Elamu yuko huko, pamoja na makundi yake yote ya wajeuri wakiwa wamelizunguka kaburi lake. Wote wameuawa, wameanguka kwa upanga. Wote waliokuwa wameeneza hofu katika nchi ya walio hai walishuka kuzimu bila kutahiriwa. Wanaichukua aibu yao pamoja na wale washukao shimoni. (questioned)
There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Around her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
25 Kitanda kimetandikwa kwa ajili yake miongoni mwa waliouawa, pamoja na makundi yake yote ya wajeuri wakiwa wamelizunguka kaburi lake. Wote ni watu wasiotahiriwa, wameuawa kwa upanga. Kwa sababu vitisho vyao vilienea katika nchi ya walio hai, wameichukua aibu yao pamoja na wale washukao shimoni, nao wamewekwa miongoni mwa waliouawa.
They have appointed a bed for her in the midst of the wounded, With all her multitude, Her graves [are] around them, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, He has been set in the midst of the pierced.
26 “Mesheki na Tubali wako humo, pamoja na makundi yao ya wajeuri wakiwa wameyazunguka makaburi yao. Wote hawakutahiriwa, wameuawa kwa upanga kwa sababu walieneza vitisho vyao katika nchi ya walio hai.
There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Her graves [are] around them, All of them uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,
27 Je, hawakulala na mashujaa wengine wasiotahiriwa waliouawa, ambao wameshuka kaburini wakiwa na silaha zao za vita, ambao panga zao ziliwekwa chini ya vichwa vyao na uovu wao juu ya mifupa yao? Adhabu kwa ajili ya dhambi zao ilikuwa juu ya mifupa yao, ingawa vitisho vya mashujaa hawa vilikuwa vimeenea hadi kwenye nchi ya walio hai. (Sheol h7585)
And they do not lie with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
28 “Wewe pia, ee Farao, utavunjwa nawe utalala miongoni mwa wasiotahiriwa, pamoja na wale waliouawa kwa upanga.
And you are broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And lie with the pierced of the sword.
29 “Edomu yuko humo, wafalme wake wote na wakuu wake wote, ambao ijapokuwa wana nguvu, wamelazwa pamoja na wale waliouawa kwa upanga. Wamelala pamoja na wasiotahiriwa, pamoja na wale washukao shimoni.
There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They lie with the uncircumcised, And with those going down to the pit.
30 “Wakuu wote wa kaskazini na Wasidoni wote wako huko, wameshuka chini pamoja na waliouawa kwa aibu ijapokuwa kuna vitisho vilivyosababishwa na nguvu zao. Wamelala bila kutahiriwa pamoja na wale waliouawa kwa upanga na kuchukua aibu yao pamoja na wale washukao chini shimoni.
There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, They are ashamed of their might, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
31 “Farao, yeye pamoja na jeshi lake lote, atakapowaona atafarijiwa kwa ajili ya makundi yake yote ya wajeuri, wale waliouawa kwa upanga, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.
Then Pharaoh sees, And he has been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword—Pharaoh and all his force, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
32 Ingawa nilimfanya Farao aeneze vitisho vyake katika nchi ya walio hai, Farao pamoja na makundi yake yote ya wajeuri watalazwa miongoni mwa wasiotahiriwa, pamoja na wale waliouawa kwa upanga, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.”
For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he has been laid down in [the] midst of [the] uncircumcised, With [the] pierced of [the] sword—Pharaoh, and all his multitude, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
