Ezekieli 30
1 Neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “Mwanadamu, toa unabii na useme: ‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Ombolezeni ninyi na mseme, “Ole wa siku ile!”
“Son of man, prophesy and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Wail, ‘Alas for that day!’
3 Kwa kuwa siku ile imekaribia, siku ya Bwana imekaribia, siku ya mawingu, siku ya maangamizi kwa mataifa.
For the day is near, the Day of the LORD is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.
4 Upanga utakuja dhidi ya Misri, nayo maumivu makuu yataijia Ethiopia. Mauaji yatakapoangukia Misri, utajiri wake utachukuliwa na misingi yake itabomolewa.
A sword will come against Egypt, and there will be anguish in Cush when the slain fall in Egypt, its wealth is taken away, and its foundations are torn down.
5 Kushi na Putu, Ludi na Arabia yote, Libya na watu wa nchi ya Agano watauawa kwa upanga pamoja na Misri.
Cush, Put, and Lud, and all the various peoples, as well as Libya and the men of the covenant land, will fall with Egypt by the sword.
6 “‘Hili ndilo Bwana asemalo: “‘Wale walioungana na Misri wataanguka na kiburi cha nguvu zake kitashindwa. Kutoka Migdoli hadi Aswani, watauawa ndani yake kwa upanga, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.
For this is what the LORD says: The allies of Egypt will fall, and her proud strength will collapse. From Migdol to Syene they will fall by the sword within her,
7 “‘Hizo nchi zitakua ukiwa miongoni mwa nchi zilizo ukiwa, nayo miji yao itakuwa magofu miongoni mwa miji iliyo magofu.
They will be desolate among desolate lands, and their cities will lie among ruined cities.
8 Ndipo watakapojua kwamba mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapoiwasha Misri moto na wote wamsaidiao watapondwa.
Then they will know that I am the LORD when I set fire to Egypt and all her helpers are shattered.
9 “‘Siku hiyo wajumbe watatoka kwangu kwa merikebu, ili kuwatia hofu Ethiopia, wakiwa katika hali yao ya kuridhika. Maumivu makali yatawapata siku ya maangamizi ya Misri, kwa kuwa hakika itakuja.
On that day messengers will go out from Me in ships to frighten Cush out of complacency. Anguish will come upon them on the day of Egypt’s doom. For it is indeed coming.
10 “‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Nitakomesha makundi ya wajeuri ya Misri kwa mkono wa Nebukadneza mfalme wa Babeli.
This is what the Lord GOD says: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
11 Yeye na jeshi lake, taifa lililo katili kuliko mataifa yote, litaletwa ili kuangamiza nchi. Watafuta panga zao dhidi ya Misri na kuijaza nchi kwa waliouawa.
He and his people with him, the most ruthless of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.
12 Nitakausha vijito vya Naili na nitaiuza nchi kwa watu waovu, kwa mkono wa wageni, nitaifanya nchi ukiwa na kila kitu kilichomo ndani yake. Mimi Bwana nimenena haya.
I will make the streams dry up and sell the land to the wicked. By the hands of foreigners I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it.
13 “‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Nitaangamiza sanamu na kukomesha vinyago katika Memfisi Hapatakuwepo tena na mkuu katika nchi ya Misri, nami nitaeneza hofu katika nchi nzima.
This is what the Lord GOD says: I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis. There will no longer be a prince in Egypt, and I will instill fear in that land.
14 Nitaifanya Pathrosi kuwa ukiwa na kuitia moto Soani, nami nitaipiga kwa adhabu Thebesi
I will lay waste Pathros, set fire to Zoan, and execute judgment on Thebes.
15 Nitaimwaga ghadhabu yangu juu ya Pelusiumu, ngome ya Misri, nami nitakatilia mbali makundi ya wajeuri wa Thebesi.
I will pour out My wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the crowds of Thebes.
16 Nitaitia moto nchi ya Misri; Pelusiumu itagaagaa kwa maumivu makuu. Thebesi itachukuliwa na tufani, Memfisi itakuwa katika taabu daima.
I will set fire to Egypt, Pelusium will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be split open, and Memphis will face daily distress.
17 Wanaume vijana wa Oni na wa Pi-Besethi wataanguka kwa upanga nayo hiyo miji itatekwa.
The young men of On and Pi-beseth will fall by the sword, and those cities will go into captivity.
18 Huko Tahpanhesi mchana utatiwa giza nitakapovunja kongwa la Misri; hapo kiburi cha nguvu zake kitakoma. Atafunikwa na mawingu na vijiji vyake vitatekwa.
The day will be darkened in Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt and her proud strength comes to an end. A cloud will cover her, and her daughters will go into captivity.
19 Kwa hiyo nitaipiga Misri kwa adhabu, nao watajua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’”
So I will execute judgment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the LORD.”
20 Katika mwaka wa kumi na moja, mwezi wa kwanza, siku ya saba, neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:
In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
21 “Mwanadamu, nimevunja mkono wa Farao mfalme wa Misri. Haukufungwa ili upone au kuwekewa kipande cha ubao ili upate nguvu za kuweza kuchukua upanga.
“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. See, it has not been bound up for healing, or splinted for strength to hold the sword.
22 Kwa hiyo hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Mimi ni kinyume na Farao mfalme wa Misri. Nitavunja mikono yake yote miwili, ule mkono ulio mzima pia na ule uliovunjika na kuufanya upanga uanguke toka mkononi mwake.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken, and will make the sword fall from his hand.
23 Nitawatawanya Wamisri miongoni mwa mataifa na kuwafukuza huku na huko katika nchi zote.
I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
24 Nitaitia nguvu mikono ya mfalme wa Babeli na kuutia upanga wangu mkononi mwake, lakini nitavunja mikono ya Farao, naye atalia kwa huzuni mbele yake kama mtu aliyetiwa jeraha la kumfisha.
I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king and place My sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, who will groan before him like a mortally wounded man.
25 Nitaitia nguvu mikono ya mfalme wa Babeli, lakini mikono ya Farao italegea. Ndipo watakapojua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapoutia upanga wangu mkononi mwa mfalme wa Babeli, naye ataunyoosha dhidi ya Misri.
I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king, but Pharaoh’s arms will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I place My sword in the hand of Babylon’s king, and he wields it against the land of Egypt.
26 Nitawatawanya Wamisri miongoni mwa mataifa na kuwafukuza huku na huko katika nchi mbalimbali. Ndipo watakapojua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana.”
I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
