Ezekieli 28
1 Neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying
2 “Mwanadamu, mwambie mfalme wa Tiro, ‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Kwa sababu moyo wako umejivuna na umesema, “Mimi ni mungu; nami ninaketi katika kiti cha enzi cha mungu katika moyo wa bahari.” Lakini wewe ni mwanadamu, wala si mungu, ingawa unafikiri kuwa una hekima kama mungu.
Son of man Say to the Prince of Tyre. Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh— Because lofty, is thy heart and thou hast said A GOD, am I, In the seat of God, have I taken my seat In the heart of the seas; Whereas thou art a man, and not a GOD, But hast set thy heart as the heart of God:
3 Je, wewe una hekima kuliko Danieli? Je, hakuna siri iliyofichika kwako?
Lo! wiser, thou than Daniel, — No secret, have they hidden from thee:
4 Kwa hekima yako na ufahamu wako, umejipatia utajiri, nawe umejikusanyia dhahabu na fedha katika hazina zako.
In thy wisdom and in thine understanding, hast thou gotten thee wealth, — And hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries:
5 Kwa werevu wako mwingi katika biashara, umeongeza utajiri wako na kwa sababu ya utajiri wako moyo wako umekuwa na kiburi.
By the greatness of thy wisdom and by thy traffic, hast thou multiplied thy riches, -And thy heart hath become lofty in thy riches:
6 “‘Kwa hiyo, hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Kwa sababu unafikiri una hekima, mwenye hekima kama mungu,
Therefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,
7 mimi nitawaleta wageni dhidi yako, taifa katili kuliko yote; watafuta panga zao dhidi ya uzuri wa hekima yako, na kuchafua fahari yako inayongʼaa.
Therefore behold me! bringing upon thee aliens, The terrible ones of the nations, - And they shall unsheathe their swords over the beauty of thy wisdom, And profane thy splendour:
8 Watakushusha chini shimoni, nawe utakufa kifo cha kikatili katika moyo wa bahari.
To the pit, shall they take thee down, - And thou shalt die the deaths of one thrust through, In the heart of the seas.
9 Je, wakati huo utasema, “Mimi ni mungu,” mbele ya wale wanaokuua? Utakuwa mwanadamu tu, wala si mungu, mikononi mwa hao wanaokuua.
Wilt thou really say, God, am I, before him who is slaying thee; When, thou, art a man and not a God, in the hand of them who are piercing thee?
10 Utakufa kifo cha wasiotahiriwa kwa mkono wa wageni. Kwa kuwa mimi nimenena, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.’”
The deaths of the uncircumcised, shalt thou die by the hand of aliens, — For I have spoken, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
12 “Mwanadamu, mfanyie maombolezo mfalme wa Tiro, nawe umwambie: ‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Ulikuwa kipeo cha ukamilifu, ukiwa umejaa hekima na mkamilifu katika uzuri.
Son of man Take thou up a dirge over the king of Tyre, — And thou shalt say to him Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Thou wast of finished proportions, Full of wisdom and Perfect in beauty:
13 Ulikuwa ndani ya Edeni, bustani ya Mungu; kila kito cha thamani kilikupamba: akiki nyekundu, yakuti manjano na zumaridi, krisolitho, shohamu na yaspi, yakuti samawi, almasi na zabarajadi. Kuwekwa kwa hayo mapambo na kushikizwa kwake kulifanywa kwa dhahabu; siku ile ulipoumbwa yaliandaliwa tayari.
In Eden the garden of God, thou wast. Of every precious stone, was thy covering-Sardius. topaz, and diamond, Chrysolite beryl, and jasper, Sapphire carbuncle and emerald, - And of gold, was the work of thy timbrels and thy flutes within thee, In the day thou wast created, were they prepared:
14 Ulitiwa mafuta kuwa kerubi mlinzi, kwa kuwa hivyo ndivyo nilivyokuweka wakfu. Ulikuwa kwenye mlima mtakatifu wa Mungu; ulitembea katikati ya vito vya moto.
Thou, wast the anointed cherub that covered, — When I appointed thee, in the holy mount of God, thou wast, Amid stones of fire, thou didst walk to and fro:
15 Ulikuwa mnyofu katika njia zako tangu siku ile ya kuumbwa kwako, hadi uovu ulipoonekana ndani yako.
Complete, wast thou in thy ways, from the day thou wast created, - Until perversity was found in thee.
16 Kutokana na biashara yako iliyoenea, ulijazwa na dhuluma, nawe ukatenda dhambi. Hivyo nilikuondoa kwa aibu kutoka mlima wa Mungu, nami nikakufukuza, ee kerubi mlinzi, kutoka katikati ya vito vya moto.
By the abundance of thy traffic, they filled thy midst with violence And thou didst sin, - So I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God. And destroyed thee O covering cherub, from amid the stones of fire:
17 Moyo wako ukawa na kiburi kwa ajili ya uzuri wako, nawe ukaiharibu hekima yako kwa sababu ya fahari yako. Kwa hiyo nikakutupa chini; nimekufanya kioja mbele ya wafalme.
Lofty, was thy heart in thy beauty, Thou didst corrupt thy wisdom, because of thy splendour, — Upon the earth, did I cast thee. Before kings, did I set thee That they might look at thee:
18 Kwa dhambi zako nyingi na biashara yako ya dhuluma, umenajisi mahali pako patakatifu. Kwa hiyo nilifanya moto utoke ndani yako, nao ukakuteketeza, nami nikakufanya majivu juu ya nchi, machoni pa wote waliokuwa wakitazama.
Owing to the abounding of thine iniquities. In the perversity of thy traffic, Thou didst profane thy sanctuaries, Therefore brought I forth fire out of thy midst. the same devoured thee, And I turned thee to ashes on the ground, Before the eyes of all beholding thee:
19 Mataifa yote yaliyokujua yanakustajabia; umefikia mwisho wa kutisha na hutakuwepo tena milele.’”
All that had known thee among the peoples were astounded over thee, — A terror, hast thou become, And, art not, Unto times age-abiding.
20 Neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
21 “Mwanadamu, elekeza uso wako juu ya Sidoni, ukatabiri dhidi yake,
Son of man, Set thy face towards Zidon, — And prophesy over it;
22 nawe useme: ‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: “‘Mimi ni kinyume chako, ee Sidoni, nami nitapata utukufu ndani yako. Nao watajua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapotekeleza hukumu zangu na kuonyesha utakatifu wangu ndani yake.
and thou shalt say— Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! against thee, O Zidon, Therefore will I get myself glory in thy midst, — [And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh, ] When I have executed against her judgments And hallowed myself in her.
23 Nitapeleka tauni ndani yake na kufanya damu itiririke katika barabara zake. Waliochinjwa wataanguka ndani yake, kwa upanga dhidi yake kila upande. Ndipo watakapojua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana.
So then I will send against her, pestilence and blood in her streets, And the wounded shall fall in her midst by the sword upon her from every side, — And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
24 “‘Nyumba ya Israeli hawatakuwa tena na majirani wenye nia ya kuwadhuru wanaoumiza kama michongoma na miiba mikali. Ndipo watakapojua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana Mwenyezi.
And the house of Israel shall no more have a stinging prickle or a wounding thorn, of any round about them who used to despise them, - So shall they know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh.
25 “‘Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Nitakapoikusanya nyumba ya Israeli kutoka mataifa ambako wametawanyika, nitajionyesha kuwa mtakatifu miongoni mwao machoni pa mataifa. Ndipo watakapoishi katika nchi yao wenyewe, niliyompa mtumishi wangu Yakobo.
Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, When I gather together the house of Israel, from the midst of the peoples among whom they have been scattered, and shall hallow myself in them before the eyes of the nations Then shall they dwell upon their own soil, which I gave to my servant—to Jacob:
26 Wataishi humo kwa salama na watajenga nyumba na kupanda mashamba ya mizabibu, wataishi kwa salama nitakapowaadhibu majirani zao wote ambao waliwafanyia uovu. Ndipo watakapojua kwamba Mimi ndimi Bwana, Mungu wao.’”
Yea they shall dwell thereupon securely, Yea shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and dwell securely, — When I have executed judgments on all that despised them on every side of them, So shall they know that, I, Yahweh am their God
