Ezekieli 25

1 Neno la Bwana likanijia kusema:

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 “Mwanadamu, elekeza uso wako juu ya Waamoni utabiri dhidi yao.

Son of man, set your face steadfastly against the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;

3 Waambie, ‘Sikieni neno la Bwana Mwenyezi. Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Kwa sababu ulisema, “Aha!” juu ya mahali pangu patakatifu palipotiwa unajisi, na juu ya nchi ya Israeli ilipoangamizwa, na juu ya watu wa Yuda walipokwenda uhamishoni,

and you shall say to the children of Ammon, Hear you the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord; Forasmuch as you have rejoiced against my sanctuary, because it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, because it was laid waste; and against the house of Juda, because they went into captivity;

4 kwa hiyo nitawatia mikononi mwa watu wa mashariki mkawe mali yao. Watapiga kambi zao katikati yenu na kufanya makazi miongoni mwenu, watakula matunda yenu na kunywa maziwa yenu.

therefore, behold, I [will] deliver you to the children of Kedem for an inheritance, and they shall lodge in you with their stuff, and they shall pitch their tents in you: they shall eat your fruits, and they shall drink your milk.

5 Nitaufanya mji wa Raba kuwa malisho ya ngamia na Amoni kuwa mahali pa kondoo pa kupumzikia. Ndipo mtakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.

And I will give up the city of Ammon for camels' pastures, and the children of Ammon for a pasture of sheep: and you shall know that I am the Lord.

6 Kwa kuwa hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Kwa kuwa umepiga makofi yako na kufanya kishindo kwa miguu, mkifurahia kwa mioyo yenu miovu juu ya yale mabaya yaliyoipata nchi ya Israeli,

For thus says the Lord; Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with your foot, and heartily rejoiced against the land of Israel;

7 hivyo nitaunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi yako na kukutoa kuwa nyara kwa mataifa. Nitakukatilia mbali kutoka kwenye mataifa na kukungʼoa katika nchi. Nitakuangamiza, nawe utajua ya kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’”

therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a spoil to the nations; and I will utterly destroy you from among the peoples, and I will completely cut you off from out of the countries: and you shall know that I am the Lord.

8 “Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Moabu na Seiri wamesema, “Tazama, nyumba ya Yuda imekuwa kama mataifa mengine yote,”

Thus says the Lord; Because Moab has said, Behold, are not the house of Israel and Juda like all the [other] nations?

9 kwa hiyo nitaiondoa ile miji iliyo kando ya Moabu, kuanzia miji iliyoko mipakani, yaani: Beth-Yeshimothi, Baal-Meoni na Kiriathaimu, iliyo utukufu wa nchi hiyo.

Therefore, behold, I will weaken the shoulder of Moab from his frontier cities, [even] the choice land, the house of Bethasimuth above the fountain of the city, by the sea-side.

10 Nitaitia Moabu pamoja na Waamoni mikononi mwa watu wa Mashariki kuwa milki yao, ili kwamba Waamoni wasikumbukwe miongoni mwa mataifa,

I have given him the children of Kedem in addition to the children of Ammon for an inheritance, that there may be no remembrance of the children of Ammon.

11 nami nitatoa adhabu kwa Moabu. Ndipo watakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’”

And I will execute vengeance on Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

12 “Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Edomu ulilipiza kisasi juu ya nyumba ya Yuda na kukosa sana kwa kufanya hivyo,

Thus says the Lord; Because of what the Idumeans have done in taking vengeance on the house of Juda, and [because they] have remembered injuries, and have exacted full recompense;

13 kwa hiyo hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Nitaunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi ya Edomu na kuua watu wake na wanyama wao. Nitaufanya ukiwa, kuanzia Temani hadi Dedani wataanguka kwa upanga.

therefore thus says the Lord; I will also stretch out my hand upon Idumea, and will utterly destroy out of it man and beast; and will make it desolate; and they that are pursued out of Thaeman shall fall by the sword.

14 Nitalipiza Edomu kisasi kwa mkono wa watu wangu Israeli, nao watawatendea Edomu sawasawa na hasira yangu na ghadhabu yangu, nao watakijua kisasi changu, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.’”

And I will execute my vengeance on Idumea by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall deal in Idumea according to mine anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord.

15 “Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Wafilisti wamewalipiza kisasi kwa uovu wa mioyo yao na kwa uadui wa siku nyingi wakataka kuangamiza Yuda,

Therefore thus says the Lord, Because the Philistines have wrought revengefully, and raised up vengeance rejoicing from their heart to destroy [the Israelites] to a man;

16 kwa hiyo hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Mimi ninakaribia kuunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi ya Wafilisti, nami nitawakatilia mbali Wakerethi na kuwaangamiza wale waliosalia katika pwani.

therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and will utterly destroy the Cretans, and will cut off the remnant that dwell by the sea-coast.

17 Nitalipiza kisasi kikubwa juu yao na kuwaadhibu katika ghadhabu yangu. Ndipo watakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapolipiza kisasi juu yao.’”

And I will execute great vengeance upon them; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought my vengeance upon them.
