1 Kwa hiyo Bezaleli, Oholiabu na kila mtu Bwana aliyempa ustadi na uwezo wa kujua jinsi ya kufanya kazi zote za kujenga mahali patakatifu wataifanya hiyo kazi kama vile Bwana alivyoagiza.”
And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
2 Ndipo Mose akawaita Bezaleli na Oholiabu na kila mtu mwenye ustadi ambaye Bwana alikuwa amempa uwezo na mwenye kupenda kuja na kufanya kazi.
And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
3 Wakapokea kutoka kwa Mose sadaka zote ambazo Waisraeli walikuwa wameleta ili kuifanya kazi ya ujenzi wa Mahali Patakatifu. Nao watu wakaendelea kuleta sadaka za hiari kila asubuhi.
And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
4 Ikafika wakati mafundi wote wenye ujuzi waliokuwa wakiifanya kazi yote ya mahali patakatifu wakasimamisha kazi zao,
And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
5 wakaja na kumwambia Mose, “Watu wanaleta vitu vingi kuliko tunavyohitaji kwa ajili ya kazi hii ambayo Bwana ameagiza ifanyike.”
And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
6 Ndipo Mose akatoa agizo, nao wakapeleka neno hili katika kambi yote: “Mtu yeyote mwanaume au mwanamke asilete tena kitu chochote kwa ajili ya sadaka ya mahali patakatifu.” Hivyo watu wakazuiliwa kuleta zaidi,
And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labour for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
7 kwa sababu walivyokuwa navyo tayari vilitosha na kuzidi kuifanya kazi yote.
And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
8 Watu wote wenye ustadi miongoni mwa wafanyakazi wote wakatengeneza maskani kwa mapazia kumi ya kitani iliyosokotwa vizuri, na nyuzi za rangi ya buluu, za zambarau, na za rangi nyekundu, naye fundi stadi akatirizi makerubi kwenye mapazia hayo.
And every wise one among those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
9 Mapazia yote yalitoshana kwa ukubwa: kila moja lilikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa ishirini na nane, na upana wa dhiraa nne
And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
10 Wakayaunganisha mapazia matano pamoja, pia wakafanya vivyo hivyo kwa hayo mengine matano.
And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
11 Kisha wakatengeneza vitanzi vya kitambaa cha buluu kwenye upindo wa pazia la mwisho la fungu la kwanza, pia wakafanya vivyo hivyo na pazia la fungu la mwisho.
shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
12 Wakatengeneza pia vitanzi hamsini katika pazia mmoja, na vitanzi vingine hamsini kwenye pazia la mwisho la fungu hilo lingine, nazo vitanzi vyote vikaelekeana.
They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
13 Kisha wakatengeneza vifungo hamsini vya dhahabu, na wakavitumia kufunga na kuunganisha zile fungu mbili za mapazia pamoja ili maskani ipate kuwa kitu kimoja.
and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
14 Wakatengeneza mapazia kumi na moja ya singa za mbuzi kwa ajili ya kufunika maskani.
and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
15 Mapazia hayo kumi na moja yalikuwa na kipimo kimoja, yaani urefu wa dhiraa thelathini, na upana wa dhiraa nne.
And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
16 Wakaunganisha mapazia matano kuwa fungu moja, na hayo mengine sita kuwa fungu lingine.
They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
17 Kisha wakatengeneza vitanzi hamsini kwenye upindo wa pazia la mwisho la fungu moja, na vivyo hivyo kwenye upindo wa pazia la mwisho la fungu hilo lingine.
And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
18 Wakatengeneza vifungo hamsini vya shaba ili kukaza hema pamoja kuwa kitu kimoja.
and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
19 Kisha wakatengeneza kifuniko cha hema kwa ngozi za kondoo dume zilizotiwa rangi nyekundu, na juu yake kifuniko cha ngozi za pomboo.
and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
20 Wakatengeneza mihimili ya kusimamisha ya mti wa mshita kwa ajili ya maskani.
and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
21 Kila mhimili ulikuwa na urefu wa dhiraa kumi, na upana wa dhiraa moja na nusu,
And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
22 zikiwa na ndimi mbili zilizokuwa sambamba kila mmoja na mwingine. Wakatengeneza mihimili yote ya maskani jinsi hii.
And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
23 Wakatengeneza mihimili ishirini kwa ajili ya upande wa kusini wa maskani,
and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
24 na wakatengeneza vitako arobaini vya fedha vya kuweka chini ya hiyo mihimili, vitako viwili kwa kila mhimili, kimoja chini ya kila ulimi.
And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
25 Kwa upande wa kaskazini wa maskani wakatengeneza mihimili ishirini
and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
26 na vitako arobaini vya fedha, viwili chini ya kila mhimili.
And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
27 Wakatengeneza mihimili sita kwa mwisho ulio mbali, yaani upande wa magharibi wa maskani,
And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
28 na mihimili miwili ikatengenezwa kwa ajili ya pembe za maskani za upande uliokuwa mbali.
And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
29 Katika pembe hizi mbili mihimili yake ilikuwa miwili kuanzia chini mpaka juu, na ikaingizwa kwenye pete moja; mihimili ya pembe hizi mbili ilifanana.
And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 Kwa hiyo kulikuwa na mihimili minane, na vitako kumi na sita vya fedha, viwili chini ya kila mhimili.
And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
31 Wakatengeneza pia mataruma kwa mti wa mshita: matano kwa ajili ya mihimili ya upande mmoja wa maskani,
And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be rent.
32 matano kwa ajili ya mihimili ya upande mwingine, na matano kwa ajili mihimili ya upande wa magharibi, mwisho kabisa mwa maskani.
And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
33 Wakatengeneza taruma la katikati, likapenya katikati ya mihimili kutoka mwisho mmoja hadi mwisho mwingine.
And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
34 Wakaifunika hiyo mihimili kwa dhahabu, na wakatengeneza pete za dhahabu za kushikilia hayo mataruma. Pia wakayafunika hayo mataruma kwa dhahabu.
a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
35 Wakatengeneza pazia la nyuzi za rangi ya buluu, za zambarau, na za rangi nyekundu na kitani safi iliyosokotwa vizuri, naye fundi stadi akatirizi makerubi kwenye hilo pazia.
And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
36 Wakatengeneza nguzo nne za mti wa mshita kwa ajili yake na kuzifunika kwa dhahabu. Wakatengeneza kulabu za dhahabu kwa ajili ya nguzo hizo, na kusubu vitako vinne vya fedha.
and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
37 Kwa ajili ya ingilio la hema wakatengeneza pazia la nyuzi za rangi ya buluu, za zambarau, na za rangi nyekundu na kitani safi iliyosokotwa vizuri, kazi ya mtarizi.
and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
38 Pia wakatengeneza nguzo tano zenye kulabu. Wakafunika ncha za juu za hizo nguzo pamoja na tepe zake kwa dhahabu, na pia wakatengeneza vitako vyake vitano vya shaba.
And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
