2 Wafalme 15

1 Katika mwaka wa ishirini na saba wa utawala wa Yeroboamu mfalme wa Israeli, Azaria mwana wa Amazia mfalme wa Yuda alianza kutawala.

In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.

2 Alikuwa na umri wa miaka kumi na sita alipoanza kutawala, naye akatawala huko Yerusalemu kwa miaka hamsini na miwili. Mama yake aliitwa Yekolia wa Yerusalemu.

A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.

3 Akatenda yaliyo mema machoni pa Bwana, kama Amazia baba yake alivyofanya.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.

Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.

And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.

6 Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Azaria na yote aliyoyafanya, je, hayakuandikwa katika kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Yuda?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

7 Azaria akalala pamoja na baba zake, naye akazikwa karibu nao katika Mji wa Daudi, na Yothamu mwanawe akawa mfalme baada yake.

And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.

8 Katika mwaka wa thelathini na nane wa utawala wa Azaria mfalme wa Yuda, Zekaria mwana wa Yeroboamu akawa mfalme wa Israeli katika Samaria, naye akatawala miezi sita.

In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.

9 Akafanya maovu machoni pa Bwana, kama baba zake walivyofanya. Hakuziacha dhambi za Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati ambazo alisababisha Israeli kuzitenda.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

10 Shalumu mwana wa Yabeshi akafanya shauri baya dhidi ya Zekaria. Akamshambulia mbele ya watu, akamuua na kuingia mahali pake kuwa mfalme.

And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

11 Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Zekaria yameandikwa kwenye kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Israeli.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

12 Kwa hiyo neno la Bwana lililonenwa kwa Yehu likatimia, kwamba, “Wazao wako wataketi juu ya kiti cha enzi cha Israeli hadi kizazi cha nne.”

It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.

13 Shalumu mwana wa Yabeshi akawa mfalme katika mwaka wa thelathini na tisa wa Uzia mfalme wa Yuda, naye akatawala katika Samaria kwa mwezi mmoja.

Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.

14 Kisha Menahemu mwana wa Gadi akaenda kutoka Tirsa mpaka Samaria. Akamshambulia Shalumu mwana wa Yabeshi huko Samaria, akamuua na kuingia mahali pake kuwa mfalme.

And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

15 Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Shalumu, na mauaji aliyoyafanya, yameandikwa katika kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Israeli.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

16 Wakati ule, akianzia Tirsa, Menahemu alishambulia Tifsa na kila mtu ndani yake, na wale waliokuwa maeneo jirani, kwa sababu walikataa kufungua malango yao. Akaiangamiza Tifsa yote, na kuwapasua matumbo wanawake wote wenye mimba.

Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.

17 Katika mwaka wa thelathini na tisa wa utawala wa Azaria mfalme wa Yuda, Menahemu mwana wa Gadi akawa mfalme wa Israeli, akatawala huko Samaria kwa miaka kumi.

In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.

18 Akatenda maovu machoni pa Bwana. Katika wakati wa utawala wake wote, hakuziacha dhambi za Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati ambazo alisababisha Israeli kuzitenda.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.

19 Kisha Pulu mfalme wa Ashuru akaishambulia Israeli. Menahemu mfalme wa Israeli akampa talanta elfu moja za fedha ili amsaidie na kumwezesha katika utawala wake.

He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.

20 Menahemu akatoza fedha hizi kwa nguvu kutoka kwa Israeli. Kila mtu tajiri alilazimika kuchanga shekeli hamsini za fedha ambazo alipewa mfalme wa Ashuru. Basi mfalme wa Ashuru akajiondoa na hakuendelea kuikalia nchi.

And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.

22 Menahemu akalala pamoja na baba zake. Naye Pekahia mwanawe akawa mfalme baada yake.

And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.

23 Katika mwaka wa hamsini wa utawala wa Azaria mfalme wa Yuda, Pekahia mwana wa Menahemu akawa mfalme wa Israeli huko Samaria, akatawala miaka miwili.

In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.

24 Pekahia akafanya uovu machoni pa Bwana. Hakuziacha dhambi za Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati, ambazo alisababisha Israeli kuzitenda.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

25 Mmoja wa maafisa wake wakuu, Peka mwana wa Remalia, akafanya shauri baya dhidi yake. Akachukua watu hamsini wa Gileadi pamoja naye, akamuua Pekahia, pamoja na Argobu na Aria, katika ngome ya jumba la kifalme huko Samaria. Kwa hiyo Peka akamuua Pekahia, naye akaingia mahali pake kuwa mfalme.

And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

27 Katika mwaka wa hamsini na mbili wa utawala wa Azaria mfalme wa Yuda, Peka mwana wa Remalia akawa mfalme wa Israeli huko Samaria, naye alitawala miaka ishirini.

In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].

28 Akafanya maovu machoni pa Bwana. Hakuziacha dhambi za Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati, ambazo alisababisha Israeli kuzitenda.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

29 Wakati wa utawala wa Peka mfalme wa Israeli, Tiglath-Pileseri mfalme wa Ashuru alikuja na kuteka Iyoni, Abel-Beth-Maaka, Yanoa, Kedeshi na Hazori. Akateka miji ya Gileadi na Galilaya, pamoja na nchi yote ya Naftali, na kuwahamishia watu wote Ashuru.

In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.

30 Kisha Hoshea mwana wa Ela akafanya shauri baya dhidi ya Peka mwana wa Remalia. Akamshambulia na kumuua, kisha akaingia mahali pake kuwa mfalme katika mwaka wa ishirini wa Yothamu mwana wa Uzia.

And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.

31 Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Peka na yote aliyoyafanya, je, hayakuandikwa katika kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Israeli?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

32 Katika mwaka wa pili wa utawala wa Peka mwana wa Remalia mfalme wa Israeli, Yothamu mwana wa Uzia mfalme wa Yuda alianza kutawala.

In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.

33 Alikuwa na miaka ishirini na mitano alipoanza kutawala, naye akatawala huko Yerusalemu miaka kumi na sita. Mama yake aliitwa Yerusha binti Sadoki.

A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.

34 Akafanya yaliyo mema machoni pa Bwana, kama Uzia baba yake alivyokuwa amefanya.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.

35 Hata hivyo, mahali pa juu pa kuabudia hapakuondolewa. Watu waliendelea kutoa kafara na kufukiza uvumba huko. Yothamu akajenga upya Lango la Juu la Hekalu la Bwana.

Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.

36 Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Yothamu na yale aliyoyafanya, je, hayakuandikwa katika kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Yuda?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

37 (Katika siku hizo, Bwana akaanza kuwatuma Resini mfalme wa Aramu na Peka mwana wa Remalia dhidi ya Yuda.)

In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.

38 Yothamu akalala na baba zake, akazikwa pamoja nao katika Mji wa Daudi, mji wa baba zake. Naye Ahazi mwanawe akawa mfalme baada yake.

And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
