1 Hezekia akatuma ujumbe kuwaita Israeli wote na Yuda, pia akaandika barua kwa Efraimu na Manase, kuwakaribisha ili waje hekaluni mwa Bwana huko Yerusalemu kuadhimisha Pasaka kwa Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli.
And Ezechie sente to al Israel and to Juda, and he wroot pistlis to Effraym and to Manasses, that thei schulden come in to the hous of the Lord in Jerusalem, and make paske to the Lord God of Israel.
2 Mfalme na maafisa wake pamoja na kusanyiko lote katika Yerusalemu waliamua kuadhimisha Pasaka katika mwezi wa pili.
Therfor whanne counseil was takun of the kyng, and of princes, and of al the cumpeny of Jerusalem, thei demyden to make paske in the secounde moneth.
3 Kwa sababu makuhani hawakuwa wamejitakasa idadi ya kutosha na watu wakawa hawajakusanyika huko Yerusalemu, hawakuwa wameweza kuadhimisha Pasaka kwa wakati wake wa kawaida.
For thei demyden not to do in his tyme; for the preestis that myyten suffice weren not halewid, and the puple was not yit gaderid in to Jerusalem.
4 Mpango huu ukaonekana wafaa kwa mfalme na kusanyiko lote.
And the word pleside the king, and al the multitude.
5 Wakaamua kupeleka tangazo Israeli kote, kuanzia Beer-Sheba hadi Dani, wakiwaita watu waje Yerusalemu kuadhimisha Pasaka ya Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli. Ilikuwa haijaadhimishwa na idadi kubwa ya watu kama hiyo kufuatana na yale yaliyokuwa yameandikwa.
And thei demyden to sende messangeris in to al Israel, fro Bersabee `til to Dan, that thei schulden come, and make pask to the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem; for many men hadden not do, as it is bifor writun in the lawe.
6 Kwa amri ya mfalme, matarishi wakapita katika Israeli na Yuda kote wakiwa na barua kutoka kwa mfalme na kutoka kwa maafisa wake zikisema: “Watu wa Israeli, mrudieni Bwana, Mungu wa Abrahamu, Isaki na Israeli, ili naye awarudie ninyi mliosalia, mlionusurika kutoka mikononi mwa wafalme wa Ashuru.

7 Msiwe kama baba zenu na ndugu zenu, ambao hawakuwa waaminifu kwa Bwana, Mungu wa baba zao, hivyo akawafanya kitu cha kushangaza kama mnavyoona.
Nyle ye be maad as youre fadris and britheren, that yeden awei fro the Lord God of her fadris; and he yaue hem in to perischyng, as ye seen.
8 Msiwe na shingo ngumu, kama baba zenu walivyokuwa, bali nyenyekeeni kwa Bwana. Njooni mahali patakatifu, alipopatakasa milele. Mtumikieni Bwana Mungu wenu, ili hasira yake kali igeuziwe mbali nanyi.
Nyle ye make hard youre nollis, as youre fadris diden; yyue ye hondis to the Lord, and come ye to his seyntuarie, which he halewide withouten ende; serue ye the Lord God of youre fadris, and the ire of his strong veniaunce schal `be turned awey fro you.
9 Kama mkimrudia Bwana ndipo wale ndugu zenu waliotekwa pamoja na watoto wenu watakapoonewa huruma na wale waliowateka na kuwaachia warudi katika nchi hii, kwa kuwa Bwana Mungu wenu ni mwenye neema na huruma, hatageuzia uso wake mbali nanyi kama ninyi mkimrudia yeye.”
For if ye turnen ayen to the Lord, youre britheren and youre sones schulen haue mercy, bifor her lordis that ledden hem prisoneris; and thei schulen turne ayen in to this lond. For `oure Lord God is pitouse, `ethir benygne, and merciful; and he schal not turne awey his face fro you, if ye turne ayen to hym.

11 Lakini, baadhi ya watu wa Asheri, Manase na Zabuloni, wakajinyenyekeza wakaja Yerusalemu.

12 Pia katika Yuda mkono wa Mungu ulikuwa juu ya watu kuwapa umoja katika kutenda yale ambayo mfalme na maafisa wake waliwaamuru, kulingana na neno la Bwana.

13 Basi umati mkubwa wa watu ukakusanyika huko Yerusalemu kuadhimisha Sikukuu ya Mikate Isiyotiwa Chachu katika mwezi wa pili.
And many puplis weren gaderid in to Jerusalem, for to make the solempnyte of therf looues in the secounde monethe.
14 Wakajitia kazini kuyaondoa yale madhabahu yaliyokuwa huko Yerusalemu, wakayaondoa pia yale madhabahu ya kufukizia uvumba kwa miungu na kuyatupa Bonde la Kidroni.
And thei risiden, and destrieden the auteris, that weren in Jerusalem; and `thei destriynge alle thingis in whiche encense was brent to idols, castiden forth in to the stronde of Cedron.
15 Kisha wakamchinja mwana-kondoo wa Pasaka katika siku ya kumi na nne ya mwezi wa pili. Makuhani na Walawi waliona aibu, wakajitakasa na kuleta sadaka za kuteketezwa katika Hekalu la Bwana.
Forsothe thei offriden pask in the fourtenthe dai of the secounde monethe; also the preestis and the dekenes weren halewid at the laste, and offriden brent sacrifices in the hows of the Lord.
16 Kisha wakachukua nafasi zao za kawaida kama ilivyoelezwa katika Sheria ya Mose mtu wa Mungu. Makuhani wakanyunyiza ile damu waliyokabidhiwa na Walawi.
And thei stoden in her ordre, bi the ordynaunce and lawe of Moises, the man of God. Sothely the preestis token of the hondis of dekenes the blood to be sched out,
17 Kwa kuwa wengi waliokuwa katika lile kusanyiko walikuwa hawajajitakasa, iliwapasa Walawi wachinje wana-kondoo wengine wa Pasaka kwa ajili ya wale watu ambao hawakuwa safi, kwa kufuata taratibu za ibada ili kuwatakasa kwa Bwana.

18 Ingawa watu wengi miongoni mwa wale waliotoka Efraimu, Manase, Isakari na Zabuloni walikuwa hawajajitakasa, hata hivyo walikula Pasaka kinyume na ilivyoandikwa. Lakini Hezekia akawaombea, akisema, “Bwana, ambaye ni mwema na amsamehe kila mmoja
Also a greet part of the puple of Effraym, and Manasses, and of Ysachar, and of Zabulon, that was not halewid, eet pask not bi that that is writun. And Ezechie preyde for hem, and seide, The good Lord schal do mercy to alle men,
19 ambaye anauelekeza moyo wake kumtafuta Mungu, Bwana, Mungu wa baba zake, hata kama yeye si safi kulingana na sheria za mahali patakatifu.”
that seken in al the herte the Lord God of her fadris; and it schal not be arettid to hem, that thei ben not halewid.
20 Naye Bwana akamsikia Hezekia akawaponya watu.
And the Lord herde hym, and was plesid to the puple.
21 Waisraeli waliokuwa Yerusalemu wakaadhimisha Sikukuu ya Mikate Isiyotiwa Chachu kwa muda wa siku saba, nao Walawi na makuhani walikuwa wakiimba kila siku, wakiwa na ala za uimbaji za kumsifu Bwana.
And the sones of Israel, that weren founden in Jerusalem, maden solempnyte of therf looues seuene daies in greet gladnesse, and herieden the Lord bi ech dai; and dekenes and preestis `preisiden the Lord bi orguns, that acordiden to her offices.
22 Hezekia akazungumza akiwatia moyo Walawi wote, ambao walionyesha ustadi katika kumtumikia Bwana. Hivyo watu wakala chakula cha sikukuu kwa siku saba, wakitoa sadaka za amani na kumshukuru Bwana, Mungu wa baba zao.
And Ezechie spak to the herte of alle the dekenes, that hadden good vndurstondyng of the Lord; and thei eeten bi seuene daies of the solempnyte, offrynge sacrifices of pesible thingis, and heriynge the Lord God of her fadris.
23 Kisha kusanyiko lote likakubali kuendelea na sikukuu kwa siku saba zaidi, kwa hiyo kwa siku saba nyingine wakaendelea kuiadhimisha kwa furaha.
And it pleside al the multitude to halewe also othere seuene daies; which thing also thei diden with greet ioye.
24 Hezekia, mfalme wa Yuda akatoa mafahali 1,000, kondoo na mbuzi 7,000 kwa ajili ya kusanyiko, nao maafisa wakatoa mafahali 1,000 pamoja na kondoo na mbuzi 10,000. Idadi kubwa ya makuhani wakajiweka wakfu.
Forsothe Ezechie, kyng of Juda, yaf to the multitude a thousynde bolis, and seuene thousynde of scheep; sotheli the princes yauen to the puple a thousynde bolis, and ten thousynde scheep. Therfor ful greet multitude of preestis was halewid;
25 Kusanyiko lote la Yuda, pamoja na makuhani na Walawi na lile kusanyiko lote lililotoka Israeli, pamoja na wale wageni waliotoka Israeli na wale walioishi katika Yuda wakafurahi.
and al the cumpany of Juda was fillid with gladnesse, as wel of preestis and dekenes, as of al the multitude, that camen fro Israel, and `of conuersis of the lond of Israel, and of dwelleris in Juda.
26 Kulikuwa na furaha kubwa katika Yerusalemu, kwa sababu tangu siku za Mfalme Solomoni mwana wa Daudi mfalme wa Israeli halijakuwepo jambo kama hili katika Yerusalemu.
And greet solempnytee was maad in Jerusalem, which maner solempnyte was not in that citee fro the daies of Salomon, sone of Dauid, kyng of Israel.
27 Ndipo makuhani na Walawi wakasimama wakawabariki watu, naye Mungu akawasikia, kwa sababu maombi yao yalifika mbinguni, makao yake matakatifu.
