Zacarías 4
1 Y el ángel que me hablaba vino otra vez, despertándome como un hombre fuera de su sueño.
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2 Y él me dijo: ¿Qué ves? Y dije: veo un candelabro, hecho de oro, con su copa en la parte superior y siete luces encendidas; y hay siete tubos en cada una de las luces que están en la parte superior;
And said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick: all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [were] upon the top of it.
3 Y dos olivos junto a él, uno a la derecha de la copa y otro a la izquierda.
And two olive-trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side].
4 Y respondí y le dije al ángel que me estaba hablando: ¿Qué es esto, mi señor?
So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?
5 Entonces el ángel que me estaba hablando, respondiéndome, dijo: ¿No sabes qué es? Y yo dije: No, mi señor.
Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.
6 Esta es la palabra del Señor a Zorobabel, diciendo: No por la fuerza o por el poder, sino por mi espíritu, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
7 ¿Quién eres tú, gran montaña? ante Zorobabel, llegarás a nivel del suelo: y él dejará que todos vean la piedra principal, con gritos de: Gracia, gracia a ella.
Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth [its] head-stone [with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace, to it.
8 Entonces la palabra del Señor vino a mí, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9 Las manos de Zorobabel han puesto los cimientos de esta casa en su lugar, y sus manos la completarán; y te quedará claro que el Señor de los ejércitos me ha enviado a ti.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me to you.
10 Porque ¿quién ha menospreciado el día de las cosas pequeñas? porque se alegrarán cuando vean la plomada, en la mano de Zorobabel terminando la obra. Entonces él me respondió: Estas siete luces son los ojos del Señor que suben y bajan rápidamente por toda la tierra.
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 Y respondí y le dije: ¿Qué son estos dos olivos en el lado derecho del soporte de luz y en el izquierdo?
Then I answered, and said to him, What [are] these two olive-trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon its left [side]?
12 Y respondiendo por segunda vez, le dije: ¿Qué son estas dos ramas de olivo, a través de cuyos tubos de oro se drena el aceite?
And I answered again, and said to him, What [are these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves?
13 Y él me respondió: ¿No sabes qué son? Y yo dije: No, mi señor.
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [are]? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Y él dijo: Estos son los dos ungidos, cuyo lugar está junto al Señor de toda la tierra.
Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
