Zacarías 12
1 La palabra del Señor sobre Israel. El Señor por quien se extienden los cielos y se colocan las bases de la tierra, y el espíritu del hombre formado dentro de él, ha dicho:
The prophecy of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. Thus saith Jehovah, who stretched out the heavens, And laid the foundation of the earth, And formed the spirit of man within him:
2 Mira, haré que Jerusalén sea una copa de temor a todos los pueblos de alrededor, cuando Jerusalén esté cercada, también las otras ciudades de Judá serán atacadas.
Behold, I make Jerusalem a cup of giddiness to all the nations round about, And for Judah also shall it be In the siege against Jerusalem.
3 Y sucederá en aquel día que haré de Jerusalén una piedra de gran peso para todos los pueblos; todos los que la levanten serán gravemente heridos; y todas las naciones de la tierra se unirán contra ella.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem A burdensome stone for all nations; All that lift it up shall tear themselves, And all the nations of the earth shall gather themselves together against it.
4 En aquel día, dice el Señor, pondré temor en cada caballo y haré que cada jinete se vuelva loco; y mis ojos estarán abiertos sobre el pueblo de Judá, y haré que cada caballo del pueblo quede ciego.
In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with amazement, And his rider with madness; I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, And every horse of the nations will I smite with blindness.
5 Y las familias de Judá dirán en sus corazones: El pueblo de Jerusalén tiene su fuerza en el Señor de los ejércitos, su Dios.
Then shall the leaders of Judah say in their heart, “Strong are the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Through Jehovah of hosts, their God.”
6 En aquel día haré a las familias de Judá como una olla con fuego entre la leña, y como un fuego en los manojos de espiga; enviarán destrucción a todos los pueblos de alrededor, a la derecha y a la izquierda; y Jerusalén volverá a vivir en el lugar que es suyo, es decir, en Jerusalén.
In that day will I make the leaders of Judah Like a fire-pan among wood, And like a torch of fire in a sheaf, And they shall devour, on the right hand and on the left, All the nations round about. And Jerusalem shall again dwell in her own place at Jerusalem.
7 Y el Señor dará salvación primero a las tiendas de campaña de Judá, para que la gloria de la familia de David y la gloria del pueblo de Jerusalén no sea mayor que la de Judá.
Jehovah will also save the tents of Judah first, That the glory of the house of David, And the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, May not magnify itself against Judah.
8 En aquel día el Señor será una cubierta sobre el pueblo de Jerusalén; y el que sea débil entre ellos en ese día será tan fuerte como David, y la familia de David será como Dios, como el ángel del Señor delante de ellos.
In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, And he that is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, And the house of David shall be as God, As the angel of Jehovah before them.
9 Y sucederá ese día que tomaré en cuenta la destrucción de todas las naciones que vienen contra Jerusalén.
And it shall come to pass in that day That I will seek to destroy all the nations Which come against Jerusalem.
10 Y enviaré sobre la familia de David y sobre el pueblo de Jerusalén el espíritu de gracia y de súplica; y sus ojos se volverán Mí, al que han traspasado; y estarán llorando por él como por un hijo único, y su dolor por él será amargo, como el dolor de alguien que lamenta por su hijo mayor.
Then will I pour upon the house of David, And upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, A spirit of supplication, and of prayer; And they shall look to me whom they pierced, And they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, And shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.
11 En ese día habrá un gran llanto en Jerusalén, como el llanto de Hadadrimón en el valle de Meguido.
In that day the mourning shall be great in Jerusalem, As the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddo.
12 Y la tierra se entregará al llanto, cada familia por separado; la familia de David solos, y sus esposas solos; la familia de Natán solos y sus esposas solos;
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; The family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; The family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 La familia de Leví por sí mismos, y sus esposas por sí mismos; la familia de Semei sola y sus esposas solas;
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; The family of the house of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 Y todas las otras familias solas, y sus esposas solas.
All the families that remain, Every family apart, and their wives apart.
