Apocalipsis 21
1 Y vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva; porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra se habían ido; y no había más mar.
AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 Y yo, Juan, vi la ciudad santa, la nueva Jerusalén, que bajaba del cielo, de Dios, dispuesta como una esposa hermosa para su marido.
And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 Y vino a mis oídos una gran voz del trono, que decía: Mira, el tabernáculo de Dios está con los hombres, y él morará con ellos; y ellos serán su pueblo, y Dios mismo estará con ellos, y será su Dios.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall pitch his tent with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their own God.
4 Y secará toda lágrima de ellos; y ya no habrá más muerte, ni tristeza, ni llanto, ni dolor; porque las primeras cosas han llegado a su fin.
And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more; nor shall mourning, nor crying, nor toil be any more: because the former things are passed away.
5 Y el que estaba sentado en el trono dijo: Mira, hago nuevas todas las cosas. Y él dijo: Ponlo en el libro; porque estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Lo! I make all things new: and he said unto me, Write that these sayings are true and faithful.
6 Y él me dijo: Hecho está. Yo soy el Primero y el Último, el comienzo y el final. Daré libremente de la fuente del agua de vida al que tiene sed.
And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end; I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 El que venza tendrá estas cosas por su herencia; y seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be to him a God, and he shall be to me a son.
8 Pero los que están llenos de temor y sin fe, los inmundos y los homicidas, los que cometen inmoralidades sexuales, los hechiceros, o que dan culto a las imágenes, y todos los mentirosos, tendrán su parte en el lago de fuego y azufre, que es la segunda muerte. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
But to those who shrink back through fear, and to the infidels, and to the abominable, and to murderers, and to whoremongers, and to those who use magical incantations, and to idolaters, and to all liars, is their portion appointed in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. 9 Y vino uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas en que estaban los siete últimos castigos, y me dijo: Ven aquí, y ve a la novia, la esposa del Cordero.
And there came to me one of the seven angels who held the seven vases full of the seven last plagues, and he talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 Y me llevó en el Espíritu a un monte grande y alto, y me permitió ver la ciudad santa de Jerusalén, que descendía del cielo, de Dios,
And he bore me away in spirit unto a great and exceeding high mountain, and shewed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 Teniendo la gloria de Dios; y su luz era como una piedra preciosísima, como una piedra de jaspe, clara como el cristal:
having the glory of God: and her brilliance was like the most precious gem, as a jasper stone, transparent as crystal;
12 Tenía una pared grande y alta, con doce puertas, y en las puertas doce ángeles; y nombres en ellos, que son los nombres de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel.
and she had a great wall and lofty, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
13 Y al oriente había tres puertas; y en el norte tres puertas; y en el sur tres puertas; y en el oeste tres puertas.
From the east three gates; from the north three gates; from the south three gates; from the west three gates.
14 Y el muro de la ciudad tenía doce cimientos, y sobre ellos los doce nombres de los doce apóstoles del Cordero.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 Y el que hablaba conmigo, tenía una vara de medir de oro para tomar la medida de la ciudad, y de sus puertas, y su muro.
And he that talked with me held a golden cane to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 Y la ciudad es cuadrada, tan ancha como larga; y él tomó la medida de la ciudad con la vara, dos mi doscientos kilómetros: es igualmente larga, ancha y alta.
And the city is a quadrangle, and the breadth of it is just as much as the length of it; and he measured the city with the cane, twelve thousand furlongs: the breadth, and the length, and the height of it, are exactly proportioned.
17 Y midió la medida de su muro, ciento cuarenta y cuatro codos, según la medida de un hombre, es decir, de un ángel.
He measured also the wall of it a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, for such is that of an angel.
18 Y la construcción de su muro era de jaspe, y la ciudad era de oro puro, transparente como vidrio.
The structure of the wall of it was jasper, and the city pure gold, like clear glass.
19 Las bases del muro de la ciudad tenían adornos de todo tipo de hermosas piedras. La primera base era jaspe; el segundo, zafiro; el tercero, ágata; el cuarto, esmeralda;
And the foundations of the walls of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation a jasper; the second a sapphire; the third a chalcedony; the fourth an emerald;
20 El quinto, ónice; el sexto, cornalina; el séptimo, crisólito; el octavo, berilo; el noveno, topacio; el décimo, crisopraso; el undécimo, jacinto; el duodécimo, amatista.
the fifth a sardonyx; the sixth a sardius; the seventh a chrysolite; the eighth a beryl; the ninth a topaz; the tenth a chrysoprasus; the eleventh a jacinth; the twelfth an amethyst.
21 Y las doce puertas eran doce perlas; cada puerta estaba hecha de una perla; y la calle de la ciudad era de oro claro, tan claro como el vidrio.
And the twelve gates were twelve several pearls; every one of the gates was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.
22 Y no vi ningún templo allí; porque el Señor Dios, Todopoderoso, y el Cordero son su Templo.
And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, even the Lamb.
23 Y la ciudad no tiene necesidad del sol ni de la luna para alumbrar; porque la gloria de Dios la iluminó, y la luz de ella es el Cordero.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine upon it: for the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.
24 Y las naciones caminarán en su luz; y los reyes de la tierra traerán su honor su gloria a ella.
And the nations of those that are saved shall walk about in the light thereof; and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and their honour into it;
25 Y sus puertas nunca serán cerradas de día (porque allí no hay noche).
and her gates shall be never shut by day (for there is no night there);
26 Y la gloria y la honra de las naciones entrarán en ella;
and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it.
27 Y nada inmundo entrará en ella, o que hace abominación y mentira; pero solo aquellos cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida del Cordero.
And there shall no more enter into it any thing unclean, or that practises abomination and lying; but only those who are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
