Apocalipsis 20
1 Y vi a un ángel que descendía del cielo, que tenía la llave del gran abismo y una gran cadena en su mano. (Abyssos g12)
Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and upon his arm he carried a great chain. (Abyssos g12)
2 Y tomó el dragón, la vieja serpiente, que es él diablo y Satanás, y le puso cadenas por mil años,
He laid hold of the Dragon--the ancient serpent--who is the Devil and the Adversary, and bound him for a thousand years, and hurled him into the bottomless pit.
3 y lo metió en el gran abismo, y fue encerrado y puso un sello sobre él, para que no engañase más a las naciones, hasta que los mil años se cumpliesen: después de esto se debe ser desatado por un poco de tiempo. (Abyssos g12)
He closed the entrance and put a seal upon him in order that he might be unable to lead the nations astray any more until the thousand years were at an end. Afterwards he is to be set at liberty for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
4 Y vi tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos, y se les dio el derecho de juzgar; y vi las almas de los que habían cortado la cabeza por el testimonio de Jesús y por la palabra de Dios, y aquellos que no le dieron culto a la bestia, o a su imagen, y no tenían su marca en su frente o en sus manos; y vivieron y gobernaron con Cristo mil años.
And I saw thrones, and some who were seated on them, to whom judgment was entrusted. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony that they had borne to Jesus and on account of God's Message, and also the souls of those who had not worshipped the Wild Beast or his statue, nor received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands; and they came to Life and were kings with Christ for a thousand years.
5 El resto de los muertos no volvió a la vida hasta que se cumplieron los mil años. Esta es la primera resurrección.
No one else who was dead rose to Life until the thousand years were at an end. This is the First Resurrection.
6 Bienaventurado y santo es el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección; sobre estos la segunda muerte no tiene autoridad, sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, y reinarán con él mil años.
Blessed and holy are those who share in the First Resurrection. The Second Death has no power over them, but they shall be priests to God and to Christ, and shall be kings with Christ for the thousand years.
7 Y cuando los mil años hayan terminado, Satanás será soltado de su prisión,
But when the thousand years are at an end, the Adversary will be released from his imprisonment,
8 y saldrá a confundir a las naciones que están en las cuatro partes de la tierra, Gog y Magog, para juntarlas a la tierra. guerra, cuyo número es como las arenas del mar.
and will go out to lead astray the nations in all the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and assemble them for war, and they are like the sands on the seashore in number.
9 Y subieron sobre la faz de la tierra, y rodearon las tiendas de los santos, y la ciudad amada: y de Dios descendió fuego del cielo, y los consumió.
And they went up over the whole breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of God's people and the beloved city. But fire came down from Heaven and consumed them;
11 Y vi un gran trono blanco, y al que estaba sentado sobre él, delante de cuya cara la tierra y el cielo se fueron en fuga; y no había lugar para ellos.
Then I saw a great white throne and One who was seated on it, from whose presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.
12 Y vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, tomando su lugar delante del trono; y los libros estaban abiertos, y otro libro estaba abierto, que es el libro de la vida; y los muertos fueron juzgados por las cosas que estaban en los libros, según sus obras.
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing in front of the throne. And books were opened; and so was another book--namely, the Book of Life; and the dead were judged by the things recorded in the books in accordance with what their conduct had been.
13 Y el mar entregó los muertos que estaban en él; y la muerte y el infierno dieron los muertos que estaban en ellos; y fueron juzgados cada uno por sus obras. (Hadēs g86)
Then the sea yielded up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades yielded up the dead who were in them, and each man was judged in accordance with what his conduct had been. (Hadēs g86)
