Salmos 99

1 El Señor es Rey; deja que los pueblos tengan miedo: su trono está entre los querubines; tiemblen las naciones y la tierra.

The LORD reigneth; let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake.

2 El Señor es grande en Sión; él es exaltado sobre todas las naciones.

The LORD is great in Zion; and He is high above all the peoples.

3 Alaben tu nombre, porque es grande y temible; santo es él.

Let them praise Thy name as great and awful; Holy is He.

4 El poder del rey se usa para la justicia; tú das decisiones verdaderas, juzgando correctamente en la tierra de Jacob.

The strength also of the king who loveth justice — Thou hast established equity, Thou hast executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Dale gran honor a Jehová nuestro Dios, adorándolo a sus pies; santo es él.

Exalt ye the LORD our God, and prostrate yourselves at His footstool; Holy is He.

6 Moisés y Aarón entre sus sacerdotes, y Samuel entre los que le dieron honor a su nombre; hicieron oraciones al Señor, y él les dio respuestas.

Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among them that call upon His name, did call upon the LORD, and He answered them.

7 Su voz llegó a ellos desde la columna de nube; ellos guardaron su testimonio y la ley que les dio.

He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies, and the statute that He gave them.

8 Tú les diste una respuesta, oh Señor nuestro Dios; les quitaste el pecado, aunque les diste un castigo por su maldad.

O LORD our God, Thou didst answer them; a forgiving God wast Thou unto them, though Thou tookest vengeance of their misdeeds.

9 Dale gran honor al Señor nuestro Dios, adorando con tus rostros postrados en su santo monte; porque el Señor nuestro Dios es santo.

Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
