Salmos 94
1 Oh Dios, en cuyas manos está el castigo, oh Dios del castigo, que se vea tu rostro resplandeciente.
O Lord God the auenger, O God the auenger, shewe thy selfe clearely.
2 Engrandecete, oh juez de la tierra; que su recompensa llegue a los hombres de orgullo.
Exalt thy selfe, O Iudge of the worlde, and render a reward to the proude.
3 ¿Hasta cuándo los pecadores, oh Señor, cuánto tiempo los pecadores tendrán gozo por nosotros?
Lord how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Las palabras de orgullo provienen de sus labios; todos los malhechores dicen grandes cosas de sí mismos.
They prate and speake fiercely: all the workers of iniquitie vaunt themselues.
5 Tu pueblo es aplastado por ellos, oh Señor, tu herencia está turbada,
They smite downe thy people, O Lord, and trouble thine heritage.
6 Ellos mataron a la viuda y al invitado; se quitaron la vida de niños los niños huérfanos;
They slay the widowe and the stranger, and murder the fatherlesse.
7 Y dicen: No lo verá JAH, el Dios de Jacob no entenderá.
Yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither will the God of Iaakob regard it.
8 Da tu mente a mis palabras, tú que estás sin sabiduría entre la gente; Necios, ¿cuándo serás sabio?
Vnderstande ye vnwise among the people: and ye fooles, when will ye be wise?
9 ¿Aquel a quien te ha formado orejas, no oirá? ¿O es ciego por quien se formaron tus ojos?
Hee that planted the eare, shall hee not heare? or he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 El que juzga las naciones, ¿no dará a los hombres la recompensa de sus actos, y acaso no ha de saber el que da conocimiento al hombre?
Or he that chastiseth the nations, shall he not correct? hee that teacheth man knowledge, shall he not knowe?
11 El Señor tiene conocimiento de los pensamientos del hombre, que son vanidad.
The Lord knoweth the thoughtes of man, that they are vanitie.
12 Feliz es el hombre que es guiado por ti, oh Jah, corriges a quien le das enseñanza de tu ley;
Blessed is the man, whom thou chastisest, O Lord, and teachest him in thy Lawe,
13 Para que le des descanso de los días del mal, en tanto se cava hoyo para la destrucción de los pecadores.
That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of euill, whiles the pitte is digged for the wicked.
14 El Señor no abandonará a su pueblo ni le quitará su apoyo de su pueblo;
Surely the Lord will not faile his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 Pero las decisiones se volverán a hacer justas; y serán guardadas por todos aquellos cuyos corazones sean verdaderos.
For iudgement shall returne to iustice, and all the vpright in heart shall follow after it.
16 ¿Quién me dará ayuda contra los pecadores? ¿y quién será mi apoyo contra los malhechores?
Who will rise vp with me against the wicked? or who will take my part against the workers of iniquitie?
17 Si el Señor no hubiera sido mi ayudante, mi alma habría descendido rápidamente a la muerte.
If the Lord had not holpen me, my soule had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Si digo: Mi pie se resbala; tu misericordia, oh Señor, es mi apoyo.
When I said, My foote slideth, thy mercy, O Lord, stayed me.
19 Entre todos mis pensamientos turbados, tus consolaciones son el deleite de mi alma.
In the multitude of my thoughts in mine heart, thy comfortes haue reioyced my soule.
20 ¿Qué parte tienes con el trono del pecado, que convierte el mal en ley?
Hath the throne of iniquitie fellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a Lawe?
21 Ellos están unidos entre sí contra el alma de los rectos, para tomar decisiones contra aquellos que no han hecho nada malo.
They gather them together against the soule of the righteous, and condemne the innocent blood.
22 Pero el Señor es mi lugar de descanso seguro; mi Dios es la Roca donde estoy a salvo.
But the Lord is my refuge, and my God is the rocke of mine hope.
23 Y él ha hecho que sus malos designios vuelvan sobre sí mismos, destruidos en su propio pecado; el Señor nuestro Dios los pondrá fin.
And hee will recompence them their wickednes, and destroy them in their owne malice: yea, the Lord our God shall destroy them.
