Salmos 92
1 Es bueno alabar al Señor y hacer melodía a tu nombre, ¡oh Altísimo!
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Para declarar tu misericordia en la mañana, y tu fe inmutable todas las noches;
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 En un instrumento de diez cuerdas, y música de arpa.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Porque tú, oh Jehová, me has agradado por tus obras; Tendré alegría en la obra de tus manos.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 ¡Oh Señor, qué grandes son tus obras! y tus pensamientos son muy profundos.
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Un hombre sin sentido no tiene conocimiento de esto; y un hombre necio no puede asimilarlo.
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Cuando los pecadores se levantan como la hierba, y todos los que hacen mal florecen, es para que su fin sea la destrucción eterna.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Pero tú, oh Señor, estás en lo alto para siempre.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Para ver! tus enemigos, oh Señor, morirán; todos los hacedores del mal serán esparcidos;
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Pero mi fuerzas aumentan como las del búfalo; el mejor aceite fluye sobre mi cabeza.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Mis ojos han visto problemas en mis enemigos; mis oídos tienen noticias del destino de los malhechores que se han enfrentado a mí.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 El hombre bueno será como un árbol alto en su fuerza; su crecimiento será como los árboles que se extienden en el Líbano.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Los plantados en la casa del Señor subirán altos y fuertes en sus jardines.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Darán fruto aun cuando sean viejos; serán fértiles y llenos de crecimiento;
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 Para anunciar que el Señor es recto; él es mi Roca, no hay engaño en él.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
