Salmos 85

1 Señor, fuiste bueno con tu tierra: cambiando el destino de Jacob.

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Jehovah, thou hast been favorable unto thy land; Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 La maldad de tu pueblo tuvo perdón; todos sus pecados cubriste. (Selah)

Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; Thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)

3 Ya no estabas enojado: fuiste apartado del ardor de tu ira.

Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; Thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Regresa a nosotros, oh Dios de nuestra salvación, y no te enojes más con nosotros.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, And cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

5 ¿Seguirás enojado con nosotros para siempre? ¿guardarás tu ira contra nosotros a lo largo de todas las generaciones?

Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 ¿No nos darás la vida otra vez, para que tu pueblo se alegre en ti?

Wilt thou not quicken us again, That thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Veamos tu misericordia, Señor, y danos tu salvación.

Show us thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, And grant us thy salvation.

8 Oiré la voz del Señor; porque él dirá palabras de paz a su pueblo y a sus santos; pero que no vuelvan a sus maneras necias.

I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.

9 Verdaderamente, su salvación está cerca de sus adoradores; para que la gloria esté en nuestra tierra.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.

10 La misericordia y la fe se han unido; la justicia y la paz se han dado un beso.

Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 La fe sube de la tierra como una planta; la justicia está mirando hacia abajo desde el cielo.

Truth springeth out of the earth; And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

12 El Señor dará lo que es bueno; y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.

Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good; And our land shall yield its increase.

13 La justicia irá delante de él, haciendo un camino para sus pasos.

Righteousness shall go before him, And shall make his footsteps a way [to walk in].
