Salmos 84
1 ¡Cuán queridas son tus tiendas, oh Señor de los ejércitos!
To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." For the Sons of Korah. A Melody. How lovely are thy habitations, O Yahweh of hosts!
2 La pasión del deseo de mi alma es para la casa del Señor; mi corazón y mi carne están clamando por el Dios viviente.
My soul, longeth—yea even languisheth—for the courts of Yahweh, —My heart and my flesh, shout aloud for a Living GOD.
3 Los pajaritos tienen lugares para sí mismos, donde pueden poner sus crías, cerca de tus altares, oh Señor de los ejércitos, mi Rey y mi Dios.
Even the sparrow, hath found a home, And, the swallow, a nest for herself, where she hath laid her young, Thine altars, O Yahweh of hosts, My king and my God!
4 Felices son aquellos cuyo lugar de descanso está en tu casa: sin cesar te alabarán. (Selah)
How happy are they who abide in thy house, —Still are they praising thee. (Selah)
5 Feliz es el hombre cuya fuerza está en ti; en cuyo corazón están los caminos de Sión.
How happy the men whose strength is in thee, Festive processions are in their heart.
6 Atravesando el valle de bálsamos, lo convierten en un lugar de manantiales; está cubierto de bendiciones por la lluvia temprana.
Passing through the balsam-vale, A place of fountains, they make it, Yea, with blessings, is it covered by the early rain.
7 Van de fuerza en fortaleza; cada uno de ellos viene ante Dios en Sión.
They go from strength to strength, Each one appeareth before God in Zion.
8 Oh Señor Dios de los ejércitos, que mi oración venga a ti; escucha, oh Dios de Jacob. (Selah)
O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear thou my prayer, —Give hear, thou God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Oh Dios, que tus ojos estén sobre aquel que es nuestro refugio, y deja que tu corazón se vuelva a tu rey.
Our Shield, behold thou, O God, And look upon the face of thine Anointed One.
10 Porque un día en tu casa es mejor que mil. Es mejor ser guardián de la puerta en la casa de mi Dios que vivir en las tiendas del pecado.
For better is a day in thy courts, than a thousand, I choose rather to stand at the threshold in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of lawlessness.
11 El Señor Dios es nuestro sol y nuestra fuerza: el Señor dará la gracia y la gloria; él no apartará nada bueno de aquellos cuyos caminos son rectos.
For, a sun and shield, is Yahweh God, —Grace and glory, will Yahweh give, He will not withhold what is good, from them who walk without blame.
12 Oh Señor de ejércitos, feliz es el hombre cuya esperanza está en ti.
O Yahweh of hosts! How happy the man who trusteth in thee!
