Salmos 75

1 A ti, oh Dios, te alabamos, a ti alabamos; y los que honran tu nombre aclaran tus obras de poder.

For the Leader; Al-tashheth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song. We give thanks unto Thee, O God, we give thanks, and Thy name is near; men tell of Thy wondrous works.

2 Cuando haya llegado el tiempo correcto, seré el juez en rectitud.

'When I take the appointed time, I Myself will judge with equity.

3 Cuando la tierra y toda su gente se debilitan, yo soy el sostén de sus pilares. (Selah)

When the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved, I Myself establish the pillars of it.' (Selah)

4 Digo a los hombres de soberbia: que se haya ido tu orgullo, y a los pecadores: no se levante tu orgullo.

I say unto the arrogant: 'Deal not arrogantly'; and to the wicked: 'Lift not up the horn.'

5 No se levante tu orgullo; no dejes más palabras de soberbia en tus cuellos estirados.

Lift not up your horn on high; speak not insolence with a haughty neck.

6 Porque el honor no viene del este, ni del oeste, ni del sur;

For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the wilderness, cometh lifting up.

7 Pero Dios es el juez, a éste humilla y levanta a otro.

For God is judge; He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.

8 Porque en la mano del Señor hay una copa, y el vino es rojo; está bien mezclado, desbordando de su mano: hará que todos los pecadores de la tierra se apoderen de él, hasta la última gota.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, with foaming wine, full of mixture, and He poureth out of the same; surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.

9 Pero estaré siempre lleno de gozo, haciendo canciones de alabanza al Dios de Jacob.

But as for me, I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Por él cortará todos los poderíos de los pecadores; pero él poder de los rectos se levantará.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
