Salmos 74
1 de Dios, ¿por qué nos has apartado para siempre? ¿Por qué el fuego de tu ira está en contra de las ovejas que son de tu cuidado?
An instruction: of Asaph. Why, O God, hast thou cast off for ever? [why] doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
2 Ten en cuenta a tu grupo de adoradores, a los cuales redimiste en los días pasados, a quienes tomaste como la gente de tu herencia; incluso esta montaña de Sión, que ha sido tu lugar de descanso.
Remember thine assembly, which thou hast purchased of old, which thou hast redeemed [to be] the portion of thine inheritance, this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
3 Sube y mira la destrucción sin fin; todo el mal que tus enemigos han hecho en el lugar santo;
Lift up thy steps unto the perpetual desolations: everything in the sanctuary hath the enemy destroyed.
4 Enviando sus voces como leones entre tus adoradores; Han puesto sus señales para ser vistos.
Thine adversaries roar in the midst of thy place of assembly; they set up their signs [for] signs.
5 Están cortando, como un hombre cuya hacha está levantada contra los árboles gruesos.
[A man] was known as he could lift up axes in the thicket of trees;
6 Sus puertas se rompen con el hacha de hierro y martillos.
And now they break down its carved work altogether, with hatchets and hammers.
7 Han encendido tu lugar santo; Han contaminado el lugar de tu nombre y lo han derribado.
They have set on fire thy sanctuary, they have profaned the habitation of thy name to the ground.
8 Han dicho en sus corazones: Acabemos con ellos todos juntos; han entregado al fuego todos los lugares de adoración de Dios en la tierra.
They said in their heart, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all God's places of assembly in the land.
9 No vemos nuestros signos: ya no hay ningún profeta, ni nadie entre nosotros para decir cuánto tiempo.
We see not our signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
10 Oh Dios, ¿hasta cuándo los que están contra nosotros dicen cosas crueles? ¿Podrá el enemigo blasfemar tu nombre para siempre?
How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy contemn thy name for ever?
11 ¿Por qué estás retrasando tu mano y cubriendo tu mano derecha con tu manto?
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, and thy right hand? [pluck it] out of thy bosom: consume [them].
12 Porque desde el pasado Dios es mi Rey, trabajando la salvación en la tierra.
But God is my king of old, accomplishing deliverances in the midst of the earth.
13 El mar se partió en dos por tu fuerza; las cabezas de las grandes bestias marinas estaban rotas.
Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength; thou didst break the heads of the monsters on the waters:
14 Las cabezas de la gran serpiente fueron aplastadas por ti; los diste como comida a los peces del mar.
Thou didst break in pieces the heads of leviathan, thou gavest him to be meat to those that people the desert.
15 Tú hiciste valles para fuentes y manantiales; hiciste secar los ríos que fluyen constantemente.
Thou didst cleave fountain and torrent, thou driedst up ever-flowing rivers.
16 El día es tuyo y la noche es tuya: hiciste la luz y el sol.
The day is thine, the night also is thine; thou hast prepared the moon and the sun:
17 Por ti fueron arreglados todos los límites de la tierra; has hecho verano e invierno.
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth; summer and winter — thou didst form them.
18 Ten esto en cuenta, oh Señor, que tus enemigos han dicho cosas crueles, y que tu nombre ha sido menospreciado por un pueblo de mala conducta.
Remember this, that an enemy hath reproached Jehovah, and a foolish people have contemned thy name.
19 No des el alma de tu paloma al halcón; no permitas que la vida de los pobres se te escape de la memoria para siempre.
Give not up the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast; forget not the troop of thine afflicted for ever.
20 Tenga en cuenta tu pacto; porque los lugares oscuros de la tierra están llenos de orgullo y actos crueles.
Have respect unto the covenant; for the dark places of the earth are full of the dwellings of violence.
21 No permitas que los abatidos sean devueltos avergonzados; que el hombre humilde y el pobre alabe tu nombre.
Oh let not the oppressed one return ashamed; let the afflicted and needy praise thy name.
22 arriba! Oh Dios, sé el juez de tu causa; ten en cuenta las cosas amargas que el hombre de mal comportamiento dice en tu contra todos los días.
Rise up, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee all the day;
23 Tenga en cuenta la voz de sus enemigos; la protesta de los que vienen en tu contra sube todos los días.
Forget not the voice of thine adversaries: the tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually.
