Salmos 66

1 Emite un alegre clamor a Dios, toda la tierra:

Unto the end. A Canticle Psalm of the Resurrection. Shout joyfully to God, all the earth.

2 Haz una canción en honor de su nombre: dale alabanza y gloria.

Proclaim a psalm to his name. Give glory to his praise.

3 Di a Dios: ¡Cuánto temerán tus obras! debido a tu gran poder, sus enemigos se ven obligados a ponerse bajo sus pies.

Exclaim to God, “How terrible are your works, O Lord!” According to the fullness of your virtue, your enemies will speak lies about you.

4 Deja que toda la tierra te dé culto y te haga canciones; déjalos hacer canciones a tu nombre. (Selah)

Let all the earth adore you and sing psalms to you. May it sing a psalm to your name.

5 Ven y mira las obras de Dios: debe temerse en todo lo que hace a los hijos de los hombres.

Draw near and see the works of God, who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.

6 El mar se convirtió en tierra seca; atravesaron el río a pie; allí tuvimos gozo en él.

He converts the sea into dry land. They will cross the river on foot. There, we will rejoice in him.

7 Él está gobernando en el poder para siempre; sus ojos están mirando a las naciones: que sus enemigos no tengan fuerzas contra él. (Selah)

He rules by his virtue for eternity. His eyes gaze upon the nations. May those who exasperate him, not be exalted in themselves.

8 Dan bendiciones a nuestro Dios, pueblos, la voz de su alabanza sea fuerte;

Bless our God, you Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise be heard.

9 Porque él nos da vida, y no permitió que nuestros pies resbalen.

He has set my soul toward life, and he has granted that my feet may not be shaken.

10 Porque tú, oh Dios, nos has puesto a prueba: probándonos con fuego como la plata.

For you, O God, have tested us. You have examined us by fire, just as silver is examined.

11 Nos dejas encarcelar; cadenas fueron puestas en nuestras piernas.

You have led us into a snare. You have placed tribulations on our back.

12 Dejas que los hombres pasen sobre nuestras cabezas; pasamos por el fuego y el agua; pero nos sacaste a abundancia.

You have set men over our heads. We have crossed through fire and water. And you have led us out to refreshment.

13 Entraré en tu casa con holocaustos, pagaré mi deuda contigo,

I will enter your house with holocausts. I will repay my vows to you,

14 Guardando la palabra que salió de mis labios, y la cual dijo mi boca, cuando estaba en problemas.

which my lips discerned and my mouth spoke, in my tribulation.

15 Te daré holocaustos de animales gordos, y humo de ovejas; Haré ofrendas de bueyes y cabras. (Selah)

I will offer to you holocausts full of marrow, with the burnt offerings of rams. I will offer to you bulls as well as goats.

16 Vengan, escúchenme, todos ustedes hombres temerosos de Dios, para que les aclare lo que él ha hecho por mi alma.

Draw near and listen, all you who fear God, and I will describe to you how much he has done for my soul.

17 Mi voz subió a él, y fui levantado del inframundo.

I cried out to him with my mouth, and I extolled him under my breath.

18 Dije en mi corazón: Jehová no me escuchará:

If I have seen iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not heed me.

19 Pero verdaderamente el oído de Dios ha sido abierto; él ha prestado atención a la voz de mi oración.

And yet, God has heeded me and he has attended to the voice of my supplication.

20 Alabado sea Dios que no me ha quitado su buena fe y su misericordia.

Blessed is God, who has not removed my prayer, nor his mercy, from me.
