Salmos 65
1 Bien, oh Dios, tienes derecho a alabanza en Sion; permite que se haga la ofrenda para ti.
“For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” To thee belongeth trust, to thee praise, O God in Zion! And to thee shall the vow be performed!
2 A ti, oyente de la oración, vengan las palabras de toda carne.
O Thou that hearest prayer! To thee shall all flesh come!
3 Los males nos han vencido; pero en cuanto a nuestros pecados, los quitarás.
My iniquities are heavy upon me; But thou wilt forgive our transgressions!
4 Feliz es el hombre de tu elección, a quien le das un lugar de descanso en tu casa; estaremos llenos de las cosas buenas de tu lugar santo.
Happy is he whom thou choosest, And bringest near thee to dwell in thy courts! May we be satisfied with the blessings of thy house, Thy holy temple!
5 Tú nos darás una respuesta en justicia por grandes actos de poder, oh Dios de nuestra salvación; tú que eres la esperanza de todos los confines de la tierra y de las tierras lejanas del mar;
By wonderful deeds dost thou answer us in thy goodness, O God, our salvation! Who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the most distant seas!
6 El Dios por cuya fuerza afirma las montañas; quien está vestido con poder:
Thou makest fast the mountains by thy power, Being girded with strength!
7 Que hace callar la fuerte voz del mar. y pone fin al sonido de sus olas.
Thou stillest the roar of the sea, The roar of its waves, And the tumult of the nations.
8 Los que están en las partes más lejanas de la tierra tienen miedo cuando ven tus señales: las salidas de la mañana y de la tarde se alegran por ti.
They who dwell in the ends of the earth are awed by thy signs; Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and of the evening to rejoice!
9 Has dado tu bendición a la tierra, regándola y haciéndola fértil; el río de Dios está lleno de agua; y habiéndolo preparado, das a los hombres grano.
Thou visitest the earth and waterest it; Thou enrichest it exceedingly; The river of God is full of water. Thou suppliest the earth with corn, When thou hast thus prepared it.
10 Haces que las tierras aradas estén llenas de agua; suavizas las pendientes: suavizas la tierra con lluvias, enviando bendiciones sobre su crecimiento.
Thou waterest its furrows, And breakest down its ridges; Thou makest it soft with showers, And blessest its increase.
11 El año se corona con el bien que das; la lluvia vivificante está cayendo de tus pasos,
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; Thy footsteps drop fruitfulness;
12 Cayó sobre la hierba del desierto; y los collados se alegraron de todos lados.
They drop it upon the pastures of the wilderness, And the hills are girded with gladness.
13 La tierra de pasto está llena de rebaños; los valles están llenos de grano; dan gritos alegres y canciones de alegría.
The pastures are clothed with flocks, And the valleys are covered with corn; They shout, yea, they sing for joy.
