Salmos 64
1 Oh Dios, que la voz de mi dolor llegue a tu oído: aparta mi vida del temor de los que están contra mía.
To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. Hear, O God, my voice when I complain, From dread peril by the foe, wilt thou guard my life.
2 Manténme a salvo del propósito secreto de los malhechores; de la banda de los que hacen iniquidad;
Wilt thou hide me, From the conclave of evil-doers, From the crowd of workers of iniquity.
3 que hacen afilar sus lenguas como espada, lanzan cual flechas suya, palabras amargas;
Who have sharpened, like a sword, their tongue, Have made ready their arrow—a bitter word;
4 Para que en secreto puedan lanzar sus flechas al inocente de repente, sin temor y sin ser vistos.
To shoot, in secret places, at the blameless one, Suddenly they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Se hacen fuertes en un mal propósito; hacen agujeros para redes secretas; ellos dicen: ¿Quién los verá?
They strengthen for them a wicked word, They talk of hiding snares, They have said, Who can see them?
6 ¿O hacer un descubrimiento de nuestro propósito secreto? El diseño está enmarcado con cuidado; y el pensamiento interno de un hombre, y su corazón, es profundo.
They devise perverse things, They have completed the device well devised, Both the intent of each one, and the mind, are unsearchable.
7 Pero Dios envía una flecha contra ellos; de repente ellos están heridos.
Once let God have shot at them an arrow, Suddenly have appeared their own wounds!
8 El mal de sus lenguas es la causa de su caída; todos los que los ven están sacudiendo sus cabezas hacia ellos.
When they were to have ruined another, their tongue smote themselves, All who observe them take flight.
9 Y con temor los hombres hacen públicas las obras de Dios; y al pensar en sus actos obtienen sabiduría.
Therefore have all men feared, —And have told the doing of God, And, his work, have considered.
10 Los justos se alegrarán en el Señor y tendrán esperanza en él; y todos los amantes de la justicia le darán gloria.
The righteous man shall rejoice in Yahweh, and seek refuge in him, Then shall glory—all who are upright in heart.
