Salmos 63
1 Oh Dios, tú eres mi Dios; de madrugada te buscaré: mi alma está seca por necesidad de ti, mi carne se desperdicia con deseo por ti, como una tierra seca y ardiente donde no hay agua;
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Idumea. O God, my God, I cry to thee early; my soul has thirsted for thee: how often has my flesh [longed] after thee, in a barren and trackless and dry land!
2 Para ver tu poder y tu gloria, como te he visto en el lugar santo.
Thus have I appeared before thee in the sanctuary, that I might see thy power and thy glory.
3 Porque tu misericordia es mejor que la vida, mis labios te darán alabanza.
For thy mercy is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.
4 Así que continuaré bendiciéndote toda mi vida, levantando mis manos en tu nombre.
Thus will I bless thee during my life: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 Mi alma será consolada, como con buena comida; y mi boca te dará alabanza con canciones de alegría;
Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and [my] joyful lips shall praise thy name.
6 Cuando el recuerdo de ti viene a mí en mi cama, y cuando pienso en ti por la noche.
Forasmuch as I have remembered thee on my bed: in the early seasons I have meditated on thee.
7 Porque has sido mi ayuda, tendré gozo a la sombra de tus alas.
For thou hast been my helper, and in the shelter of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 Mi alma se mantiene siempre cerca de ti: tu diestra es mi apoyo.
My soul has kept very close behind thee: thy right hand has upheld me.
9 Pero aquellos cuyo deseo es la destrucción de mi alma bajará a las partes más bajas de la tierra.
But they vainly sought after my soul; they shall go into the lowest parts o the earth.
10 Serán cortados por la espada; serán alimento para zorros.
They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword; they shall be portions for foxes.
11 Pero el rey tendrá gozo en Dios; todos los que juran por él tendrán motivos de orgullo; pero la boca falsa se detendrá.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall be praised; for the mouth of them that speak unjust things has been stopped.
