Salmos 61

1 Deja que mi llanto venga a ti, oh Dios; deja que tus oídos estén abiertos a mi oración.

For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 Desde el fin de la tierra enviaré mi clamor a ti, cuando mi corazón esté vencido: llévame a la roca que es demasiado alta para mí.

From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

3 Porque tú has sido mi lugar secreto, y mi torre alta de aquellos que hicieron guerra contra mí.

For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

4 Haré tu tienda mi lugar de reposo para siempre; me guardaré bajo la protección de tus alas. (Selah)

I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

5 Porque tú, oh Dios, has respondido a mis oraciones; me has dado la herencia de aquellos que dan honor a tu nombre.

For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

6 Le darás al rey una larga vida; y harás que sus años se prolonguen a través de las generaciones.

Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

7 Que el asiento de su autoridad esté delante de Dios para siempre; que la misericordia y la rectitud lo mantengan a salvo.

May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 Haré también canciones en alabanza de tu nombre para siempre, dando a Dios lo que es correcto día tras día.

So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
