Salmos 54

1 Sea tu nombre mi salvación, oh Dios; Defiéndeme con tu poder.

For the Leader; with string-music. Maschil of David: when the Ziphites came and said to Saul: 'Doth not David hide himself with us?' O God, save me by Thy name, and right me by Thy might.

2 Deja que mi oración venga delante de ti, oh Dios; escucha las palabras de mi boca.

O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 Porque los hombres que me persiguen han salido contra mí; y hombres violentos se proponen tomar mi vida; no han puesto a Dios ante sus ojos. (Selah)

For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul; they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 Mira, Dios es mi ayudador: el Señor es el que gran defensor de mi vida.

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is for me as the upholder of my soul.

5 Él hará que los malos actos de mis enemigos vuelvan a ellos mismos; que sean cortados por tu verdad.

He will requite the evil unto them that lie in wait for me; destroy Thou them in Thy truth.

6 Libremente te haré mis ofrendas; Alabaré tu nombre, oh Señor, porque es bueno.

With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto Thee; I will give thanks unto Thy name, O LORD, for it is good.

7 Porque has sido mi salvador de todas mis angustias; y mis ojos han visto la ruina de mis enemigos.

For He hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath gazed upon mine enemies.
