< Salmos 53 >
1 El necio ha dicho en su corazón: no hay Dios. Se han corrompido, han hecho malas obras; no hay uno que haga el bien.
For the chief musician; set to Mahalath. A maschil of David. A fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt and have done abominable iniquity; there is no one who does good.
2 Dios estaba mirando desde los cielos a los hijos de los hombres, para ver si había alguno que tuviese sabiduría, buscando a Dios.
God looks down from heaven on the children of mankind to see if there are any who understand, who seek after him.
3 Todos ellos han regresado; se han corrompido: no hay quien haga el bien, no, no uno.
They have all turned away. Together they have become corrupt. There is not one who does good, not even one.
4 ¿No tienen conocimiento todos los hacedores del mal, que devoran a mi pueblo como si fuera pan, y a Dios no invocan?
Do those who commit iniquity have no understanding— those who devour my people as if they were eating bread and they do not call on God?
5 Tenían gran temor, donde no había motivo para temer: porque los huesos de los que te hacen la guerra han sido quebrantados por Dios; los has avergonzado, porque Dios no los deshecho.
They were in great fear, although no reason to fear was there; for God will scatter the bones of whoever will camp against you; such people will be put to shame because God has rejected them.
6 ¡Que la salvación de Israel salga de Sión! Cuando Dios hiciere volver de la cautividad a su pueblo, Jacob se alegrará e Israel se alegrará.
Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come from Zion! When God brings back his people from the captivity, then Jacob will rejoice and Israel will be glad!
