Salmos 50

1 El Dios de los dioses, el Señor, ha enviado su voz, y la tierra está llena de temor; desde la llegada del sol hasta su descenso.

A Psalm of Asaph. God, God, the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

2 Desde Sión, el más bello de los lugares, Dios ha enviado su luz.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.

3 Nuestro Dios vendrá, y no callará; con fuego ardiendo delante de él y vientos de tormenta a su alrededor.

Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence; a fire devoureth before Him, and round about Him it stormeth mightily.

4 Convocará los cielos y a la tierra para juzgar a su pueblo.

He calleth to the heavens above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people:

5 Dejen que mis santos se reúnan conmigo; aquellos que han hecho un acuerdo conmigo por medio de ofrendas.

'Gather My saints together unto Me; those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.'

6 Y los cielos declaran su justicia; porque Dios mismo es el juez. (Selah)

And the heavens declare His righteousness; for God, He is judge. (Selah)

7 Escucha, pueblo mío, a mis palabras; Oh Israel, seré testigo contra ti; Yo soy Dios, tu Dios.

'Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: God, thy God, am I.

8 No tomaré una causa contra ti por tus ofrendas, ni por tus ofrendas quemadas, que están siempre ante mí.

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; and thy burnt-offerings are continually before Me.

9 No tomaré buey de tu casa, ni macho cabríos de tus corrales;

I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds.

10 Porque toda bestia del bosque es mía, y el ganado en mil colinas.

For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11 Veo todas las aves de los montes, y las bestias del campo son mías.

I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are Mine.

12 Si tuviera necesidad de comida, no te diría a ti; porque la tierra es mía y toda su plenitud.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is Mine, and the fulness thereof.

13 ¿Debo tomar la carne del buey para mi alimento, o la sangre de las cabras para mi bebida?

Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14 Haz una ofrenda de alabanza a Dios; mantén los acuerdos que has hecho con el Altísimo;

Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the Most High;

15 Invócame en el día de la angustia; Seré tu salvador, para que puedas darme gloria.

And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt honour Me.'

16 Pero al pecador, Dios le dice: ¿Qué estás haciendo, hablando de mis leyes, o tomando las palabras de mi acuerdo en tu boca?

But unto the wicked God saith: 'What hast thou to do to declare My statutes, and that thou hast taken My covenant in thy mouth?

17 Al ver que no tienes ningún deseo de mi enseñanza, y le das la espalda a mis palabras.

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest My words behind thee.

18 Cuando viste a un ladrón, estabas de acuerdo con él, y te uniste con los adúlteros.

When thou sawest a thief, thou hadst company with him, and with adulterers was thy portion.

19 Usas tu boca para mal, tu lengua a las palabras del engaño.

Thou hast let loose thy mouth for evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Dices mal de tu hermano; haces declaraciones falsas contra el hijo de tu madre.

Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21 Estas cosas has hecho, y yo no he dicho nada; te pareció que yo era uno como tú; pero te reprenderé cara a cara y voy ajustarte las cuentas.

These things hast thou done, and should I have kept silence? Thou hadst thought that I was altogether such a one as thyself; but I will reprove thee, and set the cause before thine eyes.

22 Ahora ten esto en mente, tú que no tienes memoria de Dios, por temor a que seas aplastado bajo mi mano, sin nadie para darte ayuda:

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 El que hace una ofrenda de alabanza me glorifica; y al que es recto en sus caminos, le mostraré la salvación de Dios.

Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving honoureth Me; and to him that ordereth his way aright will I show the salvation of God.'
