Salmos 45

1 Mi corazón fluye con palabras hermosas; mis palabras son dirigidas para un rey; mi lengua es la pluma de un escritor adiestrado.

For the Leader; upon Shoshannim; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves. My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I say: 'My work is concerning a king'; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

2 Eres el más hermoso de los hijos de los hombres; la gracia fluye por tus labios; por esta causa, la bendición de Dios está contigo para siempre.

Thou art fairer than the children of men; grace is poured upon thy lips; therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

3 Ponte tu espada, a la cintura. oh valiente, con tu gloria y tu majestad.

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, thy glory and thy majesty.

4 Y avanza noblemente en tu gloria, victoriosamente porque eres bueno, verdadero y sin orgullo; y tu diestra te enseñará grandes proezas.

And in thy majesty prosper, ride on, in behalf of truth and meekness and righteousness; and let thy right hand teach thee tremendous things.

5 Tus flechas agudas penetraran en el corazón de los aborrecedores del rey; por ellos los pueblos están cayendo debajo de ti.

Thine arrows are sharp — the peoples fall under thee — they sink into the heart of the king's enemies.

6 Tu trono de poder, oh Dios, es por los siglos de los siglos; el Centro de tu justicia es el centro de tu reino.

Thy throne given of God is for ever and ever; a sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

7 Has sido un amante de la justicia y aborrecido él mal: y así Dios, tu Dios, te ha ungido con el aceite de alegría sobre tu cabeza, más que a todos los demás reyes.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8 Sus túnicas están llenas del olor de todo tipo de perfumes y especias; la música de las casas de marfil del rey te ha alegrado.

Myrrh, and aloes, and cassia are all thy garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.

9 Las hijas de los reyes están entre tus mujeres nobles: a tu derecha está la reina en oro de Ofir.

Kings' daughters are among thy favourites; at thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Oh hija, piensa y presta atención, e inclina tu oído; olvida a tu gente y a la casa de su padre;

'Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

11 Entonces el rey tendrá un gran deseo por ti, viendo cuán hermosa eres; porque él es tu señor, dale honor.

So shall the king desire thy beauty; for he is thy lord; and do homage unto him.

12 Y las hijas de Tiro estarán allí con una ofrenda; aquellos que tienen riqueza entre la gente buscarán tu aprobación.

And, O daughter of Tyre, the richest of the people shall entreat thy favour with a gift.'

13 En la casa grande, la hija del rey está resplandeciendo; su vestido está brocado con oro.

All glorious is the king's daughter within the palace; her raiment is of chequer work inwrought with gold.

14 Ella vendrá delante del rey con túnicas bordadas; las vírgenes vendrán ante ti. Compañeras suyas serán traídas a ti.

She shall be led unto the king on richly woven stuff; the virgins her companions in her train being brought unto thee.

15 Con alegría y gozo vendrán; entrarán al palacio del rey.

They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall enter into the king's palace.

16 Tus hijos tomarán el lugar de tus padres; para que los hagas gobernantes sobre toda la tierra.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shalt make princes in all the land.

17 Mantendré la memoria de tu nombre viva por todas las generaciones; y debido a esto, las personas te darán alabanzas para siempre.

I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.
