Salmos 33
1 Alégrense en el Señor, hacedores de justicia; porque la alabanza es hermosa para los íntegros.
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for it becommeth vpright men to be thankefull.
2 Alaben al Señor con arpa; hacerle melodía de salterio y decacordio.
Prayse the Lord with harpe: sing vnto him with viole and instrument of ten strings.
3 Hazle una nueva canción; toquen con arte al aclamarlo.
Sing vnto him a newe song: sing cheerefully with a loude voyce.
4 Porque la palabra del Señor es recta, y todas sus obras demuestran su fidelidad.
For the word of the Lord is righteous, and all his workes are faithfull.
5 Su deleite está en justicia y sabiduría; la tierra está llena de la misericordia del Señor.
He loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lord.
6 Por la palabra de Jehová fueron hechos los cielos; y todo el ejército del cielo por el aliento de su boca.
By the worde of the Lord were the heauens made, and all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 Junta y almacena las aguas del mar; él mantiene en depósitos los mares profundos.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as vpon an heape, and layeth vp the depths in his treasures.
8 Que la tierra se llene del temor del Señor; deja que todas las personas del mundo te tengan un santo temor.
Let all the earth feare the Lord: let al them that dwell in the world, feare him.
9 Porque él dio la palabra, y fue hecho; por su orden existió para siempre.
For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.
10 El Señor deshace los consejos de las naciones; él hace que los pensamientos de los pueblos no tengan efecto.
The Lord breaketh the counsell of the heathen, and bringeth to nought the deuices of the people.
11 El propósito del Señor es eterno, los designios de su corazón continúan a través de todas las generaciones del hombre.
The counsell of the Lord shall stand for euer, and the thoughts of his heart throughout all ages.
12 Feliz es la nación cuyo Dios es el Señor; y él pueblo quienes ha tomado como suyo.
Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord: euen the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance.
13 El Señor está mirando hacia abajo desde el cielo; él ve a todos los hijos de los hombres;
The Lord looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the children of men.
14 Desde su morada vigila a todos los que viven en la tierra;
From the habitation of his dwelling he beholdeth all them that dwell in the earth.
15 Él formó el corazón de todos ellos; sus trabajos son claros para él.
He facioneth their hearts euery one, and vnderstandeth all their workes.
16 La salvación de un rey no está en poder de su ejército; un hombre fuerte no se libera con su gran fuerza.
The King is not saued by the multitude of an hoste, neither is the mightie man deliuered by great strength.
17 Un caballo es una falsa esperanza; su gran poder no liberará a ningún hombre del peligro.
A horse is a vaine helpe, and shall not deliuer any by his great strength.
18 Mira, el ojo del Señor está sobre aquellos en cuyo corazón está el temor de él, sobre aquellos en quienes la esperanza está en su misericordia;
Beholde, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie,
19 Para guardar sus almas de la muerte; y para mantenerlos vivos en tiempos de hambre.
To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.
20 ¡Nuestras almas esperan al Señor; él es nuestra ayuda y nuestra salvación!
Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.
21 Porque en él nuestros corazones tienen alegría; en su santo nombre está nuestra esperanza.
Surely our heart shall reioyce in him, because we trusted in his holy Name.
22 Sea tu misericordia sobre nosotros, oh Señor, mientras te esperamos.
Let thy mercie, O Lord, be vpon vs, as we trust in thee.
