Salmos 3
1 Señor, ¡cuánto aumentan quienes me atacan! en gran número vienen contra mí.
A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they multiplied that trouble me? many [are] they that rise up against me.
2 Son innumerables los que dicen de mi alma, no hay ayuda para él en Dios. (Selah)
Many [there are] who say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. (Selah)
3 Pero tú, oh Señor, eres escudo, estás a mi alrededor, tú eres mi gloria y el que levanta mi cabeza.
But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4 Clamó a gritos al Señor con mi voz, y él me responde desde su santo monte. (Selah)
I cried to the LORD with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. (Selah)
5 Me acuesto y duermo tranquilo, y otra vez estaba despierto; porque el Señor me sustentaba.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 No temeré, aunque diez mil vinieron contra mí, y pusieren sitio contra mí.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me on all sides.
7 ¡Levántate Señor! ¡mantenme a salvo, oh mi Dios! porque tú has dado todos mis enemigos en sus mejillas; los dientes de los malvados han sido quebrantados por ti.
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all my enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 La salvación viene del Señor; tu bendición está en tu pueblo. (Selah)
Salvation [belongeth] to the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. (Selah)
