1 Dar al Señor, seres celestiales, dar al Señor gloria y poder.

A psalm of David. Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of God, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!

2 Dar a Jehová toda la gloria de su nombre; darle culto en la hermosura de la santidad.

Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness!

3 La voz del Señor está sobre las aguas; el Dios de gloria truena; el Señor sobre el mar inmenso.

The voice of Yahweh is heard over the waters; the God of glory thunders, Yahweh thunders over many waters.

4 La voz del Señor está llena de poder; la voz del Señor tiene un sonido imponente.

The voice of Yahweh is powerful; the voice of Yahweh is majestic.

5 Por la voz del Señor están los cedros quebrantados, los cedros del Líbano son quebrantados por el Señor.

The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars; Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Los hace saltar como becerros; Al Líbano y al Sirión como hijos de búfalos.

He makes Lebanon skip like a calf and Sirion like a young ox.

7 A la voz del Señor se ven llamas de fuego.

The voice of Yahweh sends out flames of fire.

8 A la voz del Señor se estremece el desierto, y se sacude el desierto de Cades.

The voice of Yahweh shakes the wilderness; Yahweh shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 A la voz del Señor las encinas las desgaja, las hojas son arrancadas de los árboles: en su Templo todos le rinden honor.

The voice of Yahweh causes the oaks to twist and strips the forests bare. Everyone in his temple says, “Glory!”

10 El Señor tenía su trono como rey cuando las aguas vinieron sobre la tierra; el Señor está sentado como rey para siempre.

Yahweh sits as king over the flood; Yahweh sits as king forever.

11 El Señor dará fortaleza a su pueblo; el Señor dará a su pueblo la bendición de la paz.

Yahweh gives strength to his people; Yahweh blesses his people with peace.
