Salmos 147
1 Alaba al Señor; porque es bueno hacer melodía a nuestro Dios; la alabanza es agradable y hermosa.
Praise ye the LORD; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, [and] praise is comely.
2 El Señor edifica a Jerusalén; hace que todos los desterrados de Israel se unan.
The LORD doth build up Jerusalem; he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 Él hace que el corazón quebrantado sea bueno, y les echa aceite sobre sus heridas.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 Él ve el número de las estrellas; él les da todos sus nombres.
He telleth the number of the stars; he giveth them all their names.
5 Grande es nuestro Señor, y grande su poder; no hay límite para su sabiduría.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite.
6 El Señor da ayuda a los pobres en espíritu; pero él envía a los pecadores avergonzados.
The LORD upholdeth the meek: he bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Haz canciones de alabanza al Señor; hacer melodía a nuestro Dios con instrumentos de música.
Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praises upon the harp unto our God:
8 Por su mano el cielo está cubierto de nubes y la lluvia se almacena para la tierra; él hace que la hierba sea alta en las montañas.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
9 Él da alimento a toda bestia, y a los cuervos jóvenes en respuesta a su clamor.
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10 Él no tiene deleite en la fuerza de un caballo; él no disfruta de las piernas de un hombre.
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 El Señor se complace en sus adoradores, y en aquellos cuya esperanza está en su misericordia.
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
12 Alaben al Señor, oh Jerusalén; alaben a su Dios, oh Sión.
Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13 Hizo fuertes las ataduras de hierro de tus puertas; él ha enviado bendiciones a tus hijos dentro de tus paredes.
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 Él da paz en toda tu tierra, haciendo tus tiendas llenas de grano gordo.
He maketh peace in thy borders; he filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15 Él envía sus órdenes a la tierra; su palabra sale rápidamente.
He sendeth out his commandment upon earth; his word runneth very swiftly.
16 Él da la nieve como la lana; él envía gotas de hielo como el polvo.
He giveth snow like wool; he scattereth the hoar frost like ashes.
17 Hace caer el hielo como gotas de lluvia: el agua se endurece por el frío.
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
18 Al pronunciar su palabra, el hielo se convierte en agua; cuando él envía su viento, hay un flujo de aguas.
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 Él le aclara su palabra a Jacob, enseñando a Israel sus leyes y sus decisiones.
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 No hizo estas cosas por ninguna otra nación; y en cuanto a sus leyes, no las conocen. Dejen que el Señor sea alabado.
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
