Salmos 135
1 Deja que el Señor sea alabado. Oh siervos del Señor, alaben el nombre del Señor.
Praise you the LORD. Praise you the name of the LORD; praise him, O you servants of the LORD.
2 Tú que estás en la casa del Señor, y en los espacios abiertos de la casa de nuestro Dios,
You that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Alaben a Jah, porque él es bueno; hagan melodía a su nombre, porque es agradable.
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises to his name; for it is pleasant.
4 Porque el Señor tomó consigo a Jacob, y a Israel por su propiedad.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob to himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 Sé que el Señor es grande, y que nuestro Señor es más grande que todos los demás dioses.
For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 El Señor hizo todo lo que le agradaba, en el cielo, en la tierra, en los mares y en todas las aguas profundas.
Whatever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 Él hace que las nieblas suban desde los confines de la tierra; él hace llamas de trueno por la lluvia; Él envía los vientos desde sus almacenes.
He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.
8 El mató las primicias de Egipto, de hombres y de bestias.
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Envió señales y maravillas en medio de ti, oh Egipto, sobre Faraón y sobre todos sus siervos.
Who sent tokens and wonders into the middle of you, O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.
10 Él venció a las grandes naciones, y mató a los reyes fuertes;
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Sehón, rey de los amorreos, y Og, rey de Basán, y todos los reinos de Canaán;
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 Y dieron su tierra por heredad, por heredad a Israel su pueblo.
And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage to Israel his people.
13 Oh Señor, tu nombre es eterno; y el recuerdo de ti no tendrá fin.
Your name, O LORD, endures for ever; and your memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 Porque el Señor juzgará la causa de su pueblo; tiene compasión de sus sirvientes.
For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 Las imágenes de las naciones son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
16 Tienen bocas, pero ninguna voz; tienen ojos, pero no ven;
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 Tienen oídos, pero no oyen; y no hay aliento en sus bocas.
They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Los que los hacen son como ellos; y también lo es todo el que pone su esperanza en ellos.
They that make them are like to them: so is every one that trusts in them.
19 Alaben a Jehová, oh hijos de Israel; alaben á Jehová, oh hijos de Aarón.
Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 Alaben al Señor, hijos de Leví, alaben todos los adoradores del Señor.
Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: you that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 Bendito sea el Señor desde Sión, el Señor cuya casa está en Jerusalén, sea alabado Jehová.
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwells at Jerusalem. Praise you the LORD.
