Salmos 131

1 Señor, no hay orgullo en mi corazón y mis ojos no se alzan; y no he participado en grandes empresas ni en cosas difíciles para mí.

Lord, my heart is not exalted: nor are my eyes lofty. Neither have I walked in great matters, nor in wonderful things above me.

2 Mira, he hecho mi alma calmada y callada, como un niño en el pecho de su madre; mi alma es como un niño recién amamantado en el pecho de su madre.

If I was not humbly minded, but exalted my soul: As a child that is weaned is towards his mother, so reward in my soul.

3 Israel, ten esperanza en el Señor, desde ahora y para siempre.

Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
