Salmos 13

1 ¿Me olvidarás para siempre de tu memoria, oh Señor? ¿Hasta cuando tu rostro se alejará para siempre de mí?

For the Leader. A Psalm of David. How long, O LORD, wilt Thou forget me for ever? How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me?

2 ¿Cuánto tiempo habrán de sufrir mi alma, y con tristeza en mi corazón todo el día? ¿Hasta cuándo tendrá poder sobre mí el que está en mi contra?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart by day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 Mírame y dame una respuesta, oh Señor mi Dios; deja que tu luz brille sobre mí, para que el sueño de la muerte no me alcance;

Behold Thou, and answer me, O LORD my God; lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

4 Y el que está contra mí no puede decir: yo lo he vencido; y aquellos que me molestan pueden no estar contentos si yo resbalara.

Lest mine enemy say: 'I have prevailed against him'; lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

5 Pero he tenido fe en tu misericordia; mi corazón se alegrará en tu salvación.

But as for me, in Thy mercy do I trust; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation.

6 Cantaré al Señor, por él bien que me ha hecho.

I will sing unto the LORD, because He hath dealt bountifully with me.
