Salmos 107

1 Alabe al Señor, porque él es bueno; porque su misericordia es inmutable para siempre.

O give thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

2 Deje que aquellos cuya causa ha tomado el Señor lo digan, su pueblo a quien él ha quitado de las manos de sus enemigos;

Let the redeemed of Yahweh say, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;

3 Haciéndolos venir juntos de todas las tierras, del este y del oeste, del norte y del sur.

And, out of the lands, hath gathered them—From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.

4 Ellos vagabundeaban en los lugares baldíos; no vieron camino a un lugar de descanso.

They wandered about in the desert—in a waste, Way to a city to dwell in, found they none;

5 Sus almas se debilitaron por la necesidad de comida y bebida.

Hungry—yea thirsty, their soul, within them, fainted:

6 Entonces enviaron su clamor al Señor en su dolor, y él les dio la salvación de todos sus problemas;

Then made they outcry to Yahweh, in their peril, Out of their distresses, he rescued them;

7 Guiándolos en el camino correcto, para que puedan entrar en la ciudad de su lugar de descanso.

And led them by a straight road, That they might journey to a city to dwell in.

8 ¡Que los hombres alaben al Señor por su misericordia y por las maravillas que hace por los hijos de los hombres!

Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men;

9 Él le da su deseo al alma incontenible, para que esté lleno de cosas buenas.

For he hath satisfied the longing soul, and, the famished soul, hath he filled with good.

10 Aquellos que estaban en la oscuridad, en la noche negra, en cadenas de tristeza;

The dwellers in darkness and death-shade, bound with oppression and iron;

11 Porque fueron contra las palabras de Dios, y no pensaron en las leyes del Altísimo:

Because they had rebelled against the sayings of GOD, —and, the counsel of the Most High, they had spurned;

12 De modo que hizo que sus corazones se cargaran de dolor; estaban cayendo, y no tenían ayuda.

And he bowed down, with labour, their heart, They staggered, with no one to help,

13 Entonces enviaron su clamor al Señor en su dolor, y él les dio la salvación de todos sus problemas.

Then made they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, Out of their distresses, he saved them;

14 Los sacó de la oscuridad y la noche negra, y todas sus cadenas se rompieron.

He brought them forth out of darkness and death-shade, and, their fetters, he tare off.

15 ¡Que los hombres alaben al Señor por su misericordia y por las maravillas que hace por los hijos de los hombres!

Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!

16 Las puertas de bronce se rompen por su brazo, y las cintas de hierro se cortan en dos.

For he brake in pieces the doors of bronze, And, the bars of iron, he hewed asunder.

17 Los hombres necios, a causa de sus pecados, y por su maldad, se turbaron;

The perverse, by reason of their transgression, and on account of their iniquities, are afflicted;

18 Están disgustados con todo alimento, y se acercan a las puertas de la muerte.

All manner of food, their soul abhorreth, and so they draw near unto the gates of death,

19 Entonces alzaron su clamor al Señor en su dolor, y él les dio la salvación de todos sus problemas.

Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he saveth them.

20 Él envió su palabra y los hizo bien, y los mantuvo a salvo del inframundo.

He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.

21 ¡Que los hombres alaben al Señor por su misericordia y por las maravillas que hace por los hijos de los hombres!

Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!

22 Hagamos ofrendas de alabanza, dando noticias de sus obras con gritos de alegría.

Yea let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount his works with a shout.

23 Los que descienden al mar en barcos, que hacen negocios en las grandes aguas;

Men who go down to the sea, in ships, doing business through mighty waters;

24 Ellos ven las obras del Señor y sus maravillas en lo profundo.

They, see the works of Yahweh, and his wonders in the deep;

25 Porque a su palabra, sube el viento de la tempestad, levantando las olas.

And he speaketh, and there ariseth a tempestuous wind, which lifteth on high its rolling waves;

26 Los marineros suben al cielo, y descienden al abismo; sus almas se desperdician debido a su problema.

They mount the heavens, they descend the roaring deeps, their soul, by trouble, dissolveth;

27 Son convertidos aquí y allá, rodando como un hombre que está lleno de vino; y toda su sabiduría no llega a nada.

They reel and stagger, like a drunken man, and, all their wisdom, is engulfed,

28 Entonces alzaron su clamor al Señor en su dolor, y él les dio la salvación de todos sus problemas.

Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he bringeth them forth,

29 Él convierte la tormenta en una calma, para que las olas estén en paz.

He calmeth the storm to a whisper, and silent are their rolling waves:

30 Entonces se alegran, porque el mar está quieto, y él los lleva al puerto de su deseo.

Then are they glad, because they are hushed, And he guideth them unto their desired haven.

31 ¡Que los hombres alaben al Señor por su misericordia y por las maravillas que hace por los hijos de los hombres!

Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!

32 Dejen que le den gloria en la reunión del pueblo, y alabanza entre los jefes.

Yea let them extol him in the convocation of the people, and, in the seated company of elders, let them praise him.

33 Hace ríos en lugares baldíos, y manantiales de agua en tierra seca;

He turneth Rivers into a desert, and, Springs of Water, into thirsty ground,

34 Él hace un país fértil en un desierto de sal, a causa de los pecados de los que viven allí.

A Land of Fruit, into a waste of salt, For the wickedness of them who dwell therein.

35 Hace una tierra desierta en un lugar de agua, y una tierra seca en manantiales de agua.

He turneth A Desert, into a pool of water, and, A Parched Land into springs of water;

36 Y allí él da a los pobres un lugar de descanso, para que puedan hacerse una ciudad;

And hath caused the famished to dwell there, And they have built them a city to dwell in;

37 Y pon la semilla en los campos, y haz viñas para darles fruto.

And have sown fields, and planted vineyards, and made them fruits of increase:

38 Él les da su bendición para que sean aumentados grandemente, y su ganado no disminuya.

Thus hath he blessed them, and they have multiplied greatly, And, their cattle, he maketh not few.

39 Y cuando son humillados, y abatidos por la tribulación y la tristeza,

So have they become few and been brought low, By oppression, misfortune, and sorrow;

40 Él pone fin al orgullo de los reyes, y los envía vagando por las tierras baldías donde no hay camino.

He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;

41 Pero saca al pobre de sus problemas, y le da familias como un rebaño.

But he hath set the needy on high from affliction, and made families, like a flock: —

42 Los rectos lo ven y se alegran: la boca del pecador se detiene.

The upright seeth and is glad, And, all perverseness, hath closed her mouth.

43 Los sabios reflexionen sobre estas cosas, y vean las misericordias del Señor.

Who is wise? then let him observe these things! and diligently consider the lovingkindness of Yahweh.
