Salmos 104
1 Alaba al Señor, alma mía. Oh Señor mi Dios, eres muy grande; estás vestido de gloria y esplendor.
My soule, prayse thou the Lord: O Lord my God, thou art exceeding great, thou art clothed with glorie and honour.
2 Estás vestido de luz como con una túnica; extendiendo los cielos como una cortina:
Which couereth himselfe with light as with a garment, and spreadeth the heauens like a curtaine.
3 El arco de tu casa se basa en las aguas; haces de las nubes tu carruaje; vas en las alas del viento:
Which layeth the beames of his chambers in the waters, and maketh the cloudes his chariot, and walketh vpon the wings of the winde.
4 Él hace que los vientos sean sus ángeles, y las llamas de fuego sus siervos.
Which maketh his spirits his messengers, and a flaming fire his ministers.
5 Él hizo la tierra fuerte sobre sus bases, para que no se mueva para siempre jamás;
He set the earth vpon her foundations, so that it shall neuer moue.
6 Cubriéndolo con el mar como con una túnica: las aguas eran altas sobre las montañas;
Thou coueredst it with the deepe as with a garment: the waters woulde stand aboue the mountaines.
7 A la voz de tu palabra fueron en fuga; al sonido de tu trueno se fueron con miedo;
But at thy rebuke they flee: at the voyce of thy thunder they haste away.
8 Subieron los montes y los valles descendieron al lugar que tú preparó para ellos.
And the mountaines ascend, and the valleis descend to the place which thou hast established for them.
9 Hiciste un límite sobre el cual no podían ir, para que la tierra nunca más fuera cubierta por ellos.
But thou hast set them a bounde, which they shall not passe: they shall not returne to couer the earth.
10 Enviaste las fuentes a los valles; ellos están fluyendo entre las colinas.
He sendeth the springs into the valleis, which runne betweene the mountaines.
11 Dan de beber a toda bestia del campo; los asnos de la montaña vienen a buscar agua.
They shall giue drinke to all the beasts of the fielde, and the wilde asses shall quench their thirst.
12 Las aves del cielo tienen sus lugares de descanso junto a ellas, y cantan entre las ramas.
By these springs shall the foules of the heauen dwell, and sing among the branches.
13 Él hace caer la lluvia de sus tiendas en los montes; la tierra está llena del fruto de sus obras.
He watereth the mountaines from his chambers, and the earth is filled with the fruite of thy workes.
14 Él hace crecer la hierba para el ganado, y las plantas para el uso del hombre; para que el pan salga de la tierra;
He causeth grasse to growe for the cattell, and herbe for the vse of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth,
15 Y el vino para alegrar el corazón del hombre, y el aceite para hacer resplandecer su rostro, y el pan para fortalecer su corazón.
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oyle to make the face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth mans heart.
16 Los árboles del Señor están llenos de crecimiento, los cedros del Líbano de su plantación;
The high trees are satisfied, euen the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted,
17 Donde las aves tienen sus lugares de descanso; en cuanto a la cigüeña, los árboles altos son su casa.
That ye birdes may make their nestes there: the storke dwelleth in the firre trees.
18 Las altas colinas son un lugar seguro para las cabras de montaña, y las rocas para las pequeñas bestias.
The high mountaines are for the goates: the rockes are a refuge for the conies.
19 Hizo la luna como señal de las divisiones del año; enseñando al sol el momento de su descenso.
He appoynted the moone for certaine seasons: the sunne knoweth his going downe.
20 Cuando se oscurece, es de noche, cuando todas las bestias del bosque salen silenciosamente de sus lugares secretos.
Thou makest darkenesse, and it is night, wherein all the beastes of the forest creepe forth.
21 Los leoncillos rugen corren tras su comida; buscando de Dios su comida.
The lions roare after their praye, and seeke their meate at God.
22 Sale el sol, y se juntan, y vuelven a sus lugares secretos para descansar.
When the sunne riseth, they retire, and couche in their dennes.
23 El hombre sale a su trabajo, y a su negocio, hasta la tarde.
Then goeth man forth to his worke, and to his labour vntill the euening.
24 ¡Oh Señor, cuán grande es el número de tus obras! en sabiduría los has hecho todos; la tierra está llena de las cosas que has hecho.
O Lord, howe manifolde are thy workes! in wisdome hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Allí está el gran mar ancho, donde hay seres vivientes, grandes y pequeños, más de los que pueden ser contados.
So is this sea great and wide: for therein are things creeping innumerable, both small beastes and great.
26 Allí van los barcos; está esa gran bestia Leviatán. que has hecho como un juguete.
There goe the shippes, yea, that Liuiathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
27 Todos ellos están esperando por ti, para darles su comida a su tiempo.
All these waite vpon thee, that thou maiest giue them foode in due season.
28 Ellos toman lo que les das; están llenos de las cosas buenas que provienen de tu mano abierta.
Thou giuest it to them, and they gather it: thou openest thine hand, and they are filled with good things.
29 Si tu cara se esconde de ellos. están turbados; cuando les quitas el aliento, llegan a su fin y vuelven al polvo.
But if thou hide thy face, they are troubled: if thou take away their breath, they dye and returne to their dust.
30 envías tu espíritu, se les da vida; haces nueva la faz de la tierra.
Againe if thou send forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renuest the face of the earth.
31 Sea la gloria del Señor para siempre; que el Señor tenga gozo en sus obras.
Glory be to the Lord for euer: let the Lord reioyce in his workes.
32 a cuya mirada tiembla la tierra; a cuyo toque las montañas emiten humo.
He looketh on the earth and it trembleth: he toucheth the mountaines, and they smoke.
33 Y haré canciones al Señor toda mi vida; Haré melodía a mi Dios mientras tenga mi ser.
I will sing vnto the Lord all my life: I will prayse my God, while I liue.
34 Que mis pensamientos sean dulces para él; me alegraré en el Señor.
Let my wordes be acceptable vnto him: I will reioyce in the Lord.
35 Permitan que los pecadores sean cortados de la tierra, y que todos los malvados lleguen a su fin. Alaba al Señor, alma mía. Alaba al Señor.
Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked till there be no more: O my soule, prayse thou the Lord. Prayse ye the Lord.
