Salmos 101

1 Haré una canción de misericordia y justicia; a ti, oh Señor, haré melodía.

A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

2 Andare sabiamente en el camino de la justicia: ¿cuándo vendrás a mí? Estaré caminando en mi casa con un corazón verdadero.

I will give heed unto the way of integrity; Oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

3 No pondré ningún mal ante mis ojos; Estoy en contra de que todos se vuelvan hacia un lado; No lo tendré cerca de mí.

I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me.

4 El corazón falso lo enviaré lejos: No tendré un malhechor para un amigo.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.

5 Daré muerte a cualquiera que diga en secreto el mal de su prójimo; el hombre con una mirada alta y un corazón de orgullo es repugnante para mí.

Whoso slandereth his neighbour in secret, him will I destroy; whoso is haughty of eye and proud of heart, him will I not suffer.

6 Mis ojos estarán puestos en los que tienen buena fe en la tierra, para que vivan en mi casa; el que anda por el camino correcto será mi siervo.

Mine eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a way of integrity, he shall minister unto me.

7 El obrero del engaño no entrará en mi casa; el hombre falso no tendrá lugar ante mis ojos.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

8 Día tras día destruiré a todos los pecadores en la tierra, para que todos los malvados puedan ser separados de Jerusalén.

Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
