1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, and Aaron, saying:
2 Los hijos de Coat, de entre los hijos de Leví, sean contados por sus familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
Take the sum of the sons of Caath from the midst of the Levites, by their houses and families.
3 Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que puedan hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
From thirty years old and upward, to fifty years old, of all that go in to stand and to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
4 Y esta es la obra de los hijos de Coat en conexión con las cosas del lugar santísimo.
This is the service of the sons of Caath:
5 Cuando toda la gente avanza, Aarón debe ir con sus hijos y quitarán el velo de la cortina, cubriendo con él cofre del pacto del testimonio;
When the camp is to set forward, Aaron and his sons shall go into the tabernacle of the covenant, and the holy of holies, and shall take down the veil that hangeth before the door, and shall wrap up the ark of the testimony in it,
6 Y poniendo sobre ella la cubierta de cuero y sobre eso un paño azul; y poniendo sus varillas en su lugar.
And shall cover it again with a cover of violet skins, and shall spread over it a cloth all of violet, and shall put in the bars.
7 Y sobre la mesa del pan santo deben poner un paño azul, y sobre ella todas las vasijas, las cucharas y los recipientes y las copas; y el pan santo con ellos;
They shall wrap up also the table of proposition in a cloth of violet, and shall put with it the censers and little mortars, the cups and bowls to pour out the libations: the leaves shall be always on it:
8 Y sobre ellos deben poner un paño rojo, cubrirlo con una cubierta de cuero, y poner sus varillas en sus lugares.
And they shall spread over it a cloth of scarlet, which again they shall cover with a covering of violet skins, and shall put in the bars.
9 Y deben llevar una tela azul, cubriendo con ella el candelabro con sus luces y sus instrumentos y sus bandejas y todos los recipientes de aceite que se utilizan para ello:
They shall take also a cloth of violet wherewith they shall cover the candlestick with the lamps and tongs thereof and the snuffers and all the oil vessels, which are necessary for the dressing of the lamps:
10 Todos estos son para poner en una cubierta de cuero, y ponerlo en una charola.
And over all they shall put a cover of violet skins and put in the bars.
11 Sobre el altar de oro deben poner un paño azul, cubriéndolo con una cubierta de cuero; y han de poner sus varas en sus lugares.
And they shall wrap up the golden altar also in a cloth of violet, and shall spread over it a cover of violet skins, and put in the bars.
12 Todas las vasijas que se usan en el lugar santo deben ponerse en un paño azul, cubrirlas con una cubierta de cuero y colocarlas en la charola.
All the vessels wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, they shall wrap up in a cloth of violet, and shall spread over it a cover of violet skins, and put in the bars.
13 Y quitarán los restos quemados del altar, y pondrán sobre ellos un paño púrpura;
They shall cleanse the altar also from the ashes, and shall wrap it up in a purple cloth,
14 Colocando encima la tela todas sus vasijas, las cestas de fuego, los ganchos de carne, las espadas y las cubetas; todos los vasos del altar; Deben poner una cubierta de cuero sobre todos estos, y poner sus varillas en sus lugares.
And shall put it with all the vessels that they use in the ministry thereof, that is to say, firepans, fleshhooks and forks, pothooks and shovels. They shall cover all the vessels of the altar together with a covering of violet skins, and shall put in the bars.
15 Y después de que el lugar santo y todas sus vasijas hayan sido tapadas por Aarón y sus hijos, cuando las tiendas del pueblo avancen, los hijos de Coat vendrán y lo recogerán; pero las cosas santas no pueden ser tocadas por temor a la muerte.
And when Aaron and his sons have wrapped up the sanctuary and the vessels thereof at the removing of the camp, then shall the sons of Caath enter in to carry the things wrapped up: and they shall not touch the vessels of the sanctuary, lest they die. These are the burdens of the sons of Caath: in the tabernacle of the covenant:
16 Y Eleazar, el hijo del sacerdote Aarón, será el responsable del aceite para la luz, y los perfumes aromáticos para el fuego, y la ofrenda de la comida regular, y el aceite santo; La tienda de reunión el lugar santo y todo lo que hay en ella estará bajo su cuidado.
And over them shall be Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, to whose charge pertaineth the oil to dress the lamps, and the sweet incense, and the sacrifice, that is always offered, and the oil of unction, and whatsoever pertaineth to the service of the tabernacle, and of all the vessels that are in the sanctuary.
17 Y él Señor Dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
18 No dejes que la familia de los Coatitas sea separada de entre los levitas;
Destroy not the people of Caath from the midst of the Levites:
19 Pero háganles esto, para que la vida, y no la muerte, sean suyas cuando se acerquen a las cosas más santas; Deja que Aarón y sus hijos entren y entreguen a cada uno su trabajo y lo que debe asumir;
But do this to them, that they may live, and not die, by touching the holies of holies. Aaron and his sons shall go in, and they shall appoint every man his work, and shall divide the burdens that every man is to carry.
20 Pero ellos mismos no deben entrar para ver el lugar santo, ni siquiera por un minuto, por temor a la muerte.
Let not others by any curiosity see the things that are in the sanctuary before they be wrapped up, otherwise they shall die.
21 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
22 Que los hijos de Gersón sean contados por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
Take the sum of the soils of Gerson also by their houses and families and kindreds.
23 Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pueden hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
From thirty Sears old and upward, unto fifty years old. Number them all that go in and minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
24 Esta es la obra de los gersonitas, las cosas que deben hacer y asumir.
This is the office of the family of the Gersonites:
25 Deben tomar las cortinas del santuario, y la Tienda de reunión con su tapa y la cubierta de cuero sobre ella, y las cortinas para la puerta de la Tienda de reunión;
To carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the roof of the covenant, the other covering, and the violet covering over all, and the hanging that hangeth in the entry of the tabernacle of the covenant,
26 Y las cortinas para el atrio y alrededor de la Tienda y él altar y la cortina para su entrada, con las cuerdas y todas las cosas que se usaron para ellos; Lo que sea necesario, para su oficio y trabajo.
The curtains of the court, and the veil in the entry that is before the tabernacle. All things that pertain to the altar, the cords and the vessels of the ministry,
27 De la boca de Aarón y de sus hijos, los gersonitas tendrán noticias acerca de todas las cosas que deben hacer y tomar; Tú debes darles sus órdenes de lo que deben de hacer.
The sons of Gerson shall carry, by the commandment of Aaron and his sons: and each man shall know to what burden he must be assigned.
28 Esta es la obra de la familia de los gersonitas en la Tienda de reunión, y estarán bajo la dirección de Itamar, el hijo del sacerdote Aarón.
This is the service of the family of the Gersonites in the tabernacle of the covenant, and they shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29 Los hijos de Merari serán contados por familias, en el orden de las casas de sus padres;
Thou shalt reckon up the sons of Merari also by the families and houses of their fathers,
30 Cada uno de treinta a cincuenta años que pueda hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to the office of their ministry, and to the service of the covenant of the testimony.
31 Y esta es su parte en el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión: el transporte de las tablas y las varillas de la tienda, con los pilares y sus basas;
These are their burdens: They shall carry the boards of the tabernacle and the bars thereof, the pillars and their sockets,
32 Y los pilares del atrio fuera de él, con sus basas y sus estacas y cuerdas y todos los instrumentos utilizados, y todo lo que debe hacerse allí; todos los instrumentos de los que son responsables deben ser numerados por su nombre.
The pillars also of the court round about, with their sockets and pins and cords. They shall receive by account all the vessels and furniture, and so shall carry them.
33 Este es el trabajo que los hijos de Merari deben hacer en relación con la Tienda de reunión, bajo la dirección de Itamar, el hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
This is the office of the family of the Merarites, and their ministry in the tabernacle of the covenant: and they shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
34 Entonces Moisés, Aarón y los jefes del pueblo tomaron en sus manos la numeración de los hijos de los Coatitas, por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
So Moses and Aaron and the princes of the synagogue reckoned up the sons of Caath, by their kindreds and the houses of their fathers,
35 Numerar a todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión;
From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to the ministry of the tabernacle of the covenant:
36 Y el número de todos estos fue dos mil setecientos cincuenta.
And they were found two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37 Este es el número de aquellos de Coat que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de la reunión, ya que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
This is the number of the people of Caath that go in to the tabernacle of the covenant: these did Moses and Aaron number according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
38 Y los de los hijos de Gersón, que fueron contados por familias,
The sons of Gerson also were numbered by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,
39 Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión,
From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant:
40 Los que fueron contados por familias en el orden de las casas de sus padres, fueron dos mil seiscientos treinta.
And they were found two thousand six hundred and thirty.
41 Este es el número de los hijos de Gersón que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión, ya que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
This is the people of the Gersonites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord.
42 Y los de los hijos de Merari, que fueron contados por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres,
The sons of Merari also were numbered by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,
43 Todos los de treinta a cincuenta años que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión,
From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to fulfill the rites of the tabernacle of the covenant:
44 Que fueron contados por familias, eran tres mil doscientos.
And they were found three thousand two hundred.
45 Este es el número de los hijos de Merari, numerados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
This is the number of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron reckoned up according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
46 Y todos los levitas que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón, y los jefes del pueblo, por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres,
All that were reckoned up of the Levites, and whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel took by name, by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,
47 Los de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión y de su transporte.
From thirty years old and upward, until fifty years old, that go into the ministry of the tabernacle, and to carry the burdens,
48 Llegó a ocho mil quinientos ochenta.
Were in all eight thousand five hundred and eighty.
49 Por orden del Señor fueron contados por Moisés, cada uno en relación con su trabajo y con su parte en el transporte; así fueron contados por Moisés por orden del Señor.
Moses reckoned them up according to the word of the Lord, every one according to their office and burdens, as the Lord had commanded him.
