Números 31
1 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spak to Moyses, and seide,
2 Da a los madianitas el castigo por el mal que hicieron a los hijos de Israel: y después de eso serás recogido a tu pueblo, morirás.
Venge thou firste the sones of Israel of Madianytis, and so thou schalt be gaderid to thi puple.
3 Entonces Moisés dijo al pueblo: Que los hombres de entre ustedes estén armados para la guerra para poner en práctica el castigo de Madián el Señor.
And anoon Moises seide, Arme ye men of you to batel, that moun take of Madianytis the veniaunce of the Lord.
4 De cada tribu de Israel envía mil a la guerra.
Of ech lynage be chosun a thousynde men of Israel, that schulen be sent to batel.
5 Así, de los miles de Israel se tomaron mil de cada tribu, doce mil hombres armados para la guerra.
And of ech lynage thei yauen a thousynde, that is twelue thousynde of men, redi to batel;
6 Y Moisés los envió a la guerra, mil de cada tribu, y con ellos Finees, el hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, tomando en sus manos los vasos del lugar santo y los cuernos para hacer sonar la nota de la guerra.
whiche Moises sente with Fynees, the sone of Eleazar, preest. And he bitook to hem hooli vesselis, and trumpis to make sown.
7 E hicieron guerra contra Madián, como el Señor le dio órdenes a Moisés; y matan a todos los varones.
And whanne thei hadden fouyt ayens Madianytis, and hadden ouercome, thei killiden alle the malis,
8 Ellos mataron a los reyes de Madián con el resto, Evi y Requem y Zur y Hur y Reba, los cinco reyes de Midian; y Balaam, el hijo de Beor, los mataron con la espada.
and `the kyngis of hem, Euy, and Reem, and Sur, and Hur, and Rebe, fyue princes of `the folc of hem. Also thei killiden bi swerd Balaam, the sone of Beor.
9 Las mujeres de Midian con sus pequeños los hijos de Israel tomaron prisioneras; y tomaron para sí todos sus ganados y sus rebaños y todos sus bienes;
And thei token the wymmen of hem, and the litle children, and alle beestis, and al purtenaunce of howshold; what euer thei myyten haue, thei spuyleden;
10 Y después de quemar todos sus pueblos y todos sus campamentos de tiendas,
flawme brente as wel citees, as litle townes and castels.
11 Se fueron con los bienes que habían tomado, hombre y bestia.
And they token pray, and alle thingis whiche thei hadden take, as wel of men as of beestis, and thei brouyten to Moyses,
12 Y los prisioneros y los bienes y todo lo que habían tomado, llevaron a Moisés y al sacerdote Eleazar y al pueblo de Israel, al campamento de tiendas de campaña en las tierras bajas de Moab, junto al Jordán en Jericó.
and to Eleazar, preest, and to al the multitude of the sones of Israel. Forsothe thei baren othere `thingis perteynynge to vss, to the castels in the feldi places of Moab bisidis Jordan, ayens Jericho.
13 Entonces Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar y los jefes de la gente salieron a ellos antes de entrar en el campamento de la tienda.
Moises and Eleazar, preest, and alle the princes of the synagoge, yeden out in to the comyng of hem, with out the castels, `that is, of the tabernacle.
14 Y Moisés se enojó con los jefes del ejército, los capitanes de miles y los capitanes de cientos que habían regresado de la guerra.
And Moises was wrooth to the princes of the oost, to tribunes, and centuriouns, that camen fro batel;
15 Y Moisés les dijo: ¿Por qué habéis salvado a todas las mujeres?
and he seide, Whi reserueden ye wymmen?
16 Fueron éstas quienes, por él consejo Balaam, fueron la causa del pecado de Israel contra el Señor en la cuestión de Baal-Peor, debido a la enfermedad que afectó a la gente del Señor.
whether it be not these that disseyueden the sones of Israel, at the suggestioun of Balaam, and maden you to do trespas ayens the Lord, on the synne of Phegor, wherfor also the puple was slayn?
17 Así que ahora da muerte a cada hijo varón, y a toda mujer que haya tenido relaciones sexuales con un hombre.
And therfor sle ye alle men, what euer thing is of male kynde, and litle children; and strangle ye the wymmen that knew men fleischli;
18 Pero todas las niñas que no han tenido relaciones sexuales con hombres, pueden quedarse con ustedes.
forsothe reserue ye to you damesels, and alle wymmen virgyns,
19 Ustedes mismos deberán mantenerse fuera del campamento de la tienda durante siete días, cualquiera de ustedes que haya matado a una persona o se haya acercado a un cadáver; y en el tercer día y en el séptimo día hagan que ustedes y sus prisioneros se purifiquen.
and dwelle ye with out the castels in seuene daies. He that sleeth a man, ether touchith a slayn man, schal be clensid in the thridde and the seuenthe dai;
20 Y toda ropa, y cualquier cosa hecha de cuero o pelo de cabra o madera, debes limpiarla.
and of al the pray, whether it is clooth, ether vessel, and ony thing maad redi in to thingis perteynynge to vss, of the skynnys and heeris of geet, and `of tre, it schal be clensid.
21 Entonces el sacerdote Eleazar dijo a los hombres de guerra que habían estado en la lucha: Esta es la ley, de la ley que el Señor ha dado a Moisés:
And Eleazar, preest, spak thus to the men of the oost that fouyten, This is the comaundement of the lawe, which the Lord comaundide to Moises,
22 Más oro y plata y latón, hierro y estaño y plomo.
The gold, and siluer, and bras, and yrun, and tiyn, and leed, and al thing that may passe by flawme, schal be purgid bi fier;
23 Y cualquier cosa que pueda ser calentada, es pasar por el fuego y ser limpiada; pero además se debe poner en el agua de la purificación, y cualquier cosa que no pase por el fuego se debe poner en el agua.
sotheli what euer thing may not suffre fier, schal be halewid bi the watir of clensyng.
24 Y en el séptimo día, después de lavar tu ropa, estarás limpio, y luego podrás entrar en el campamento de la tienda.
And ye schulen waische youre clothis in the seuenthe dai, and ye schulen be clensid; and aftirward ye schulen entre in to the castels `of the tabernacle.
25 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord seide to Moises, Take ye the summe of tho thingis that ben takun, fro man `til to beeste,
26 Obtenga una cuenta de todo lo que se tomó en la guerra, del hombre y de la bestia, tú y el sacerdote Eleazar y los jefes de las familias de la gente.
thou, and Eleazar, preest, and alle the princes of the comyn puple.
27 Y que la división se haga en dos partes, una para los hombres de guerra que salieron a la lucha, y otra para todo el pueblo.
And thou schalt departe euenli the prey bytwixe hem that fouyten and yeden out to batel, and bitwixe al the multitude.
28 Y de los hombres de guerra que salieron, se ofrezca al Señor uno de cada quinientos, de las personas, y de los becerros, asnos y ovejas.
And thou schalt departe a part to the Lord, of hem that fouyten, and weren in batel, `o soule of fiue hundrid, as wel of men, as of oxun, and of assis, and of scheep.
29 Toma esto de su parte y dáselo al sacerdote Eleazar como ofrenda para ser elevado al Señor.
And thou schalt yyue `that part to Eleazar, preest, for tho ben the firste fruytis of the Lord.
30 Y de la parte dada a los hijos de Israel, toma uno de cada cincuenta, de las personas, y de los bueyes y asnos y ovejas, y dáselo a los levitas que tienen el cuidado de la Casa de los Señor.
Also of the myddil part of the sones of Israel, thou schalt take the fiftithe heed of men, and of oxun, and of assis, and of scheep, and of alle lyuynge beestis; and thou schalt yyue tho to the dekenes, that waken in the kepyngis of the tabernacle of the Lord.
31 Entonces Eleazar y Moisés hicieron lo que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.
And Moyses and Eleazar diden, as the Lord comaundide.
32 Las bestias capturadas, además de lo que los guerreros tomaron para sí, eran seiscientas setenta y cinco mil ovejas,
Forsothe the prey which the oost hadde take, was sixe hundrid fyue and seuenti thousynde of scheep,
33 Y setenta y dos mil bueyes,
of oxun two and seuenti thousynde,
34 Y sesenta y un mil asnos;
of assis sixti thousynde and a thousynde;
35 Y treinta y dos mil personas, es decir, mujeres que nunca habían tenido relaciones sexuales con un hombre.
the soules of persones of femal kynde, that knewen not fleischli men, two and thretti thousynde.
36 Y la mitad entregada a los hombres que fueron a la guerra, fue de trescientos treinta y siete mil quinientas ovejas.
And the myddil part was youun to hem that weren in the batel, of scheep thre hundrid seuene and thretti thousynde and fyue hundrid;
37 De los cuales la parte del Señor era seiscientos setenta y cinco.
of whiche sixe hundrid fyue and seuenti scheep weren noumbrid in to the part of the Lord;
38 El número de bueyes era treinta y seis mil, de los cuales la parte del Señor era setenta y dos;
and of sixe and thretti thousynde oxun,
39 El número de asnos fue treinta mil quinientos, de los cuales la parte del Señor era sesenta y uno.
two and seuenti oxun, and of thretti thousynde assis and fyue hundryd, oon and sixti assis;
40 Y el número de personas era dieciséis mil, de las cuales la parte del Señor era treinta y dos personas.
of sixtene thousynde persoones of men, twei and thretti persoones bifelden in to the `part of the Lord.
41 Entonces Moisés dio la parte del Señor, que se levantó como ofrenda, al sacerdote Eleazar, como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Moisés.
And Moises bitook the noumbre of the firste fruytis of the Lord to Eleazar, preest, as it was comaundid to hym,
42 Y de la mitad dada a los hijos de Israel, que Moisés había mantenido separada de la que se daba a los combatientes,
of the myddil part of the sones of Israel, which he departide to hem that weren in batel.
43 La mitad del pueblo era trescientos treinta y siete mil quinientas ovejas,
And of the myddil part that bifelde to the tother multitude, that is, of thre hundrid seuene and thretti thousynde scheep and fyue hundrid,
44 Y treinta y seis mil bueyes.
and of sixe and thretti thousynde oxun,
45 Y treinta mil quinientos asnos,
and of thretti thousynde assis and fyue hundrid, and of sixtene thousynde wymmen,
46 Y dieciséis mil personas;
Moyses took the fyftithe heed,
47 Incluso de la mitad de los hijos de Israel, Moisés tomó uno de cada cincuenta hombres y bestias, y se los dio a los levitas que cuidaban de la Tienda del Señor; como el SEÑOR dio órdenes a Moisés.
and yaf to the dekenes, that wakiden in the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord comaundide.
48 Entonces los hombres en autoridad sobre los miles del ejército, los capitanes de miles y los capitanes de cientos vinieron a Moisés.
And whanne the princes of the oost, and the tribunes and centuriouns hadden neiyed to Moises,
49 Y le dijeron: Tus siervos han tomado nota del número de todos los combatientes bajo nuestras órdenes, y todos están presentes;
thei seiden, We thi seruauntis han teld the noumbre of fiyters, whiche we hadden vndur oure hoond, and sotheli not oon failide;
50 Y aquí tenemos una ofrenda para el Señor de lo que cada hombre tomó en la guerra, adornos de oro, cadenas para las piernas y anillos para los brazos, anillos para los dedos, aretes y adornos para el cuello, para hacer nuestra Almas libres del pecado delante del Señor.
for which cause we offren `in the fre yiftis of the Lord, alle bi vs silf, that that we myyten fynde of gold in the pray, girdelis for `the myddil of wymmen, and bies of the armes, and ryngis, and ournementis of the arm nyy the hond, and bies of the neckis of wymmen, that thou preye the Lord for vs.
51 Y Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar les quitaron el oro, y todos los ornamentos trabajados.
And Moises and Eleazar, preest, token al the gold in dyuerse spices,
52 Y el oro que los capitanes de miles y los capitanes de cientos dieron, como ofrenda para ser levantados delante del Señor, llegó a dieciséis mil setecientos cincuenta siclos.
`ether kyndis, bi the weiyte of the seyntuarye, sixtene thousynde seuene hundrid and fifti siclis, of the tribunes, and centuriouns.
53 Porque cada hombre del ejército había tomado bienes para sí mismo en la guerra.
For that that ech man rauyschide in the prey, was his owne;
54 Entonces Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar tomaron el oro dado por los capitanes de miles y capitanes de cientos, y lo llevaron a la Tienda de la reunión, para ser una señal en memoria de los hijos de Israel ante el Señor.
and thei baren the gold taken in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, in to the mynde of the sones of Israel, bifor the Lord.
