Números 30

1 Entonces Moisés dijo a los jefes de las tribus de los hijos de Israel: Este es el orden del Señor.

And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is what Jehovah hath commanded.

2 Cuando un hombre hace un juramento al Señor, o hace una promesa que tiene la fuerza de un juramento, deberá cumplir su palabra, haga lo que él ha dicho que hará.

If a man vow a vow to Jehovah, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; according to all that hath gone out of his mouth shall he do.

3 Si una mujer, siendo joven y bajo la autoridad de su padre, hace un juramento al Señor o hace una promesa;

If a woman also vow a vow to Jehovah, and bind herself by a bond, in her father's house in her youth,

4 Si su padre, al enterarse de su juramento o del compromiso que ha hecho, no le dice nada, entonces todos sus juramentos y todo compromiso que haya hecho tendrá que cumplirlos.

and her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall be silent at her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 Pero si su padre, al oírlo, la hace retomar su palabra, entonces los juramentos o los compromisos que ha dado no tendrán fuerza; y ella tendrá perdón del Señor, porque su padre rompió su juramento.

But if her father prohibited her in the day that he heard, none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand; and Jehovah shall pardon her, because her father prohibited her.

6 Y si está casada con un esposo en el momento en que está bajo un juramento o un compromiso dado sin pensar;

And if she have a husband, when she hath her vow upon her or ought that hath passed her lips wherewith she hath bound her soul,

7 Si su esposo, al oírlo, no le dice nada en ese momento, entonces los juramentos que hizo y los compromisos que dio tendrá que cumplirlos.

and her husband hear it and be silent at her in the day that he heareth it, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

8 Pero si su esposo, al escucharlo, la hace volver, entonces el juramento que hizo y el compromiso que hizo sin pensar no tendrá fuerza ni efecto, y tendrá el perdón del Señor.

But if her husband prohibit her on the day that he heareth it, and annul her vow which is upon her, and what hath passed her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul, then Jehovah shall pardon her.

9 Pero un juramento hecho por una viuda o una que ya no está casado con su esposo, y toda promesa que ella ha hecho, tendrá que cumplirla.

But the vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, — everything wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand against her.

10 Si ella hizo un juramento mientras estaba bajo la autoridad de su esposo,

And if she have vowed in her husband's house, or have bound her soul by an oath with a bond,

11 Al oírlo su marido, no le dijo nada y no lo detuvo, entonces todos sus juramentos y todos los compromisos que ella dio tendrá que cumplirlos.

and her husband have heard it, and been silent at her, and hath not prohibited her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

12 Pero si su esposo, al oírlo, los anula, no tiene efecto, entonces, lo que ella haya dicho sobre sus juramentos o su compromiso es anulado. su esposo los ha hecho sin efecto, y él Señor no le exigirá que les cumpla.

But if her husband have expressly annulled them on the day that he heard them, then nothing of that which is gone out of her lips as to her vows or the bond on her soul, shall stand: her husband hath annulled them; and Jehovah will pardon her.

13 Todo juramento, y toda promesa que ella haga, para ayunar, puede ser apoyada o quebrantada por su esposo.

Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband can establish it, or her husband can annul it.

14 Pero si los días continúan y su marido no le dice nada en absoluto, entonces él le está dando el apoyo de su autoridad a sus juramentos y compromisos, porque en el momento de escucharlos no le dijo nada.

And if her husband be altogether silent at her from day to day, then he hath established all her vows or all her bonds which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, for he hath been silent at her in the day that he heard them.

15 Pero si en algún momento después de escucharlos, los anula, entonces es responsable del incumplimiento de su mujer.

But if he in any way annul them after he hath heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.

16 Estas son las leyes que el Señor le dio a Moisés en relación con un hombre y su esposa, o un padre y una hija pequeña que está bajo su autoridad.

These are the statutes, which Jehovah commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth in her father's house.
